## Unito Reviews
  ### 1. Unito has been a great asset for our agency

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Unito?**

What I like best is that Unito allows our team to keep using their tools, workflows, etc the way we have them set up, and then we can sync with our customers tools and systems so they can retain the same information , and we don't have to learn each others tools on top of the project we are working to accomplish.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Each time you try to integrate Unito with a toolset, you learn where it falls short. For example, we synced two different Jira instances, across two organizations. We found out after the fact that images and code snippets in the Description did not sync, and were omitted. When those things are found, we often have to find workarounds.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main thing it solves is allowing our team to focus on their work, using the tools they know, and sending our information to client systems where they can review, update, respond, etc. and keep their own record of the work, as well as comment or modify the information when needed.

  ### 2. Great tool for automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siddharth P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Simple and intutive UI is first thing which comes in my mind when i think of unito. Creation of automation flow is very simple. We also get logs of each sync which is helpful in debugging the issue

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

none as of now. We have faced few issues in past but unito customer support has fixed all issues

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to sync tasks between jira and clickup as different teams uses different tool

  ### 3. Great automation software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Unito?**

I like how easy it is to map different fields. Unito's field mapping outdoes Zapier by a long shot.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Unito can be buggy. We have had a few issues in our integrations but Unito is very helpful in troubleshooting these issues.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unito is connecting our different project management systems so each department in our company has visibility into their requests.

  ### 4. Unito has helped our team work efficiently

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandra O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Unito has helped us to connect our team members efficiently and effectively. We are able to map custom fields and sync cards to the relevant boards as required so our team that works across London and some remotely can all access information as required.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

The only thing missing for us is a way to update all our unito flows at once if we want to make any changes. The customer support has been super and helped us create a powerful card syncing network.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unito is helping our team to allocate jobs to specific people working in various locations using a simple process of triggers, attaching labels or team members. We can map specific lists across our boards that enable cards to be moved appropriately across all boards they are synced to. It enables us to work together as a team without a million phone calls every day to check what is happening on various projects.

  ### 5. Usefull programm, but still with bugs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucia L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Unito?**

We are using Unito to connect Trello boards for most of the time, but sometimes also for another tools. I like it's easy to understand how to build the flow and the mapping which is avalaible to use too, which help to have your flows sorted and had in graphical way to see it.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Sometimes its little bit too bugy.
It will be really helpfull, if you start to do more workshops about how to build flows/workflows etc.
You are not able to see history of all syncing, so if you have for example 2 Trello boards connected to 1 board, and in that one board is something synced wrong, you cannot find in which flow is the mistake and you need to check all of them. I asked about this issue support more times, but they didnt find it either.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Unito for 3 reasons:
-storing data and informations which we syncing in different ways to different employees
-tasks management of department in company
-connecting different tools, which arent usually compatible

  ### 6. An intuitive integration platform with a great user interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connor M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Easy to set up. Accomplishes what we need out of box. Communicates with our tools out of box. Simpler and more understandable than its competitors. Overall an easy and well-thought-out tool to show and explain to others.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

The pricing model by number of items in sync is a little bit irritating to manage. Some functionality is locked behind JSON configuration. The "end" of the lifecycle of integratred items is too simplified (e.g. no last update after closure, no multiple end states).

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Unito to solve the problem of having items worked in different tools by different teams mirrored to each other to prevent manual duplication and out-of-sync statuses.

  ### 7. Easy to use and a great timesaver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Trello board mirroring & Extract project Data into excel sheets

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

would have more features to extract data from trello cards

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows for connecting projects on many diffrent trello boards for diffrent teams to work togther in an efficient manner

  ### 8. Unito made realtime synching between two tools really easy.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Creating the workflows to connect two tools (ex: clickup and JIRA), which are used by different departments in our company was very easy, and they provide two way synching with field level detailing.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Whenever something fails in unito there are no proper logs to check what went wrong, I had to connect with Unito support to get issues resolved which resulted out to be silly mistakes at my end. Though their support team is very responsive and polite, some error logs would have been nice to get them resolved early.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating the workflows to connect two tools (ex: clickup and JIRA), which are used by different departments in our company was very easy, and they provide two way synching with field level detailing.
Now unito configured, we don't need to worry about tasks being created in Clickup or issue raised in JIRA, they are always in sync and all departments happy.

  ### 9. Love it for Creating Multiple Calendar Types

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Unito allows my company to create multiple Google calendar exports depending on who needs what type of specific information to be pulled from our master project calendar. Using Planyway and Unito to pull data from labels we can have a calendar for our client with just reviews and delivery dates or a calendar for a contractor just with their work dates, etc.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Sometimes we have trouble syncing and the answer isn't always clear as to why data isn't showing up. It may take a few times deleting a sync and starting fresh to get it to work. Also, the pricing points don't work so well for our company. We don't need as many user seats as we just need multiple syncs for all our projects.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having to manage multiple calendar views/types for various members of a project who have different roles. It means hours of not having to update different calendars because all the info syncs out from our master calendar.

  ### 10. I'll never leave Unito :)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anh-Chi F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Not only is the software smart and nimble, but the best part about Unito is the staff, hands down. They make amazingly clear and helpful training videos, it seems like they have a video for everything, AND if they don't have the exact training video they need, they will record a quick tech-support response for you via Loom (THANK YOU, Annand! You rock!!)!. I peppered Ben on the support team with questions when I was trying to ramp up (because the platform definitely requires a learning curve and patience), and he was always helpful, prompt, smart, and thoughtful. Sometimes I had different ideas than he did, and he wouldn't just bulldoze me; he would simply provide me the resources (training links mentioned above) to review and with which to make my own decisions, while also helpfully giving me his own recommendations. I particularly appreciated his phrasing of "my strong recommendation is to use Board Sync instead of 2-way mirror because of reasons X, Y, and Z", but he never made me feel dumb or incompetent.

BUT the absolute star of the show has to be Leila N. It is an understatement to call her incredible. Her brain works in the most glorious operations-friendly way, and her strategic analyses are second to none. How she actually understands the way other people's businesses work so well is honestly baffling to me, but Leila was the final Unito piece that had us signing on for what I hope will be many years to come with Unito's Board Sync. She explains things so clearly, she is effective for all types of learners whether they are visual, auditory, tactile, etc., and she's also just a super kind person. I'm just blown away by how smart and likable she is.

We are a very small business so it was a bit of a financial stretch to do this, but we couldn't be more thrilled with the personnel so far. This is exactly the kind of thing we want to spend the money on in order to help grow the business and be scalable. Thank you, thank you, thank you for having such a wonderful, human, thoughtful, smart, responsive company.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

There are features that could be added that would improve the process, but it seems like Unito is very interested in continual iterations and improvements, so I'm not worried about that :)

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting all of our Trello boards in a way that greatly reduces the manual work we have to do in copying/moving cards around from board to board (which we were currently doing!)

  ### 11. Fantastic tool for automating and improving workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Being able to automate client facing boards such as Trello into internal management systems like Asana has been immensely valuable.
Using Unito, I am able to significantly reduce processing, project management and handling of day to day in my role as a performance and delivery manager

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Nothing I can think of, it is very easy to use and intuitive

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unito helps solve the issue of providing a client facing workflow management board, and coordinating the actual work with our own internal systems and processes.
This can be done on a one way or two way sync depending on the needs of the project, and saves so much time compared to manually updating everything

  ### 12. Efficient Synchronization Service for Jira and Trello

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nadiia O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Unito performs synchronization every 5 minutes, ensuring that new descriptions, description edits, and comments are synced. The excellent support provided by Unito has meant that we haven't encountered any issues so far.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Due to Unito's pricing policy, which ties the monthly fee to the number of users, the service has become quite costly for us. Despite having few projects, the involvement of numerous stakeholders significantly raises the expense, prompting us to consider alternative competitors. Additionally, the fact that attachments can only be synced on the business plan further adds to the overall cost.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To streamline our workflow, we utilize both an internal Jira board for our team and individual Trello boards for each project, allowing our clients to collaborate seamlessly. Unito plays a vital role in syncing the tickets, including descriptions and comments, between these boards.

  ### 13. Unito makes our project planning and workstreams more streamlined

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Unito has been a game-changer for our team's Trello-based workstreams. This powerful tool enables seamless ticket mirroring across multiple boards, significantly enhancing our project management and workflow processes.

Real-time syncing ensures that all changes are instantly reflected across connected boards, promoting clear communication and collaboration.

The automation features have saved us valuable time by streamlining repetitive tasks. Customization options allow us to tailor Unito to fit our specific needs, making it adaptable to any project or team.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

The initial set up was a little difficult, but that could be down to user error. The customer support on this was great.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unito effectively solves several critical problems in our workflow, greatly benefiting our team. Before Unito, we struggled with fragmented communication across multiple Trello boards. Now, Unito's ticket mirroring feature brings all boards together, ensuring seamless collaboration.

  ### 14. Straightforward way to sync between different tools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris F. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Easiest way for us to sync data between different project management systems, and between calendars managed in different client organizations.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

The Google Calendar sync is a bit finicky sometimes. Things can take a bit to appear or they can continue in one calendar even when deleted from the other. That having been said -- it does the job better than anything else I can find!

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps keep multiple google calendars synchronized across different domains. Very helpful for managing multiple clients! It's a big productivity win

  ### 15. Unito helps us keeping issues in sync across Jira <> GitHub

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie N. | Head of Delivery, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Unito?**

- we have been using Unito for a few years now and it is the best tool for the job as far as we can tell
- ease of setting up a flow
- reactiveness of the support team
- works seamlessly most of the time

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

- the UI on the dashboard can be buggy which does cause frustrations

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unito helps us keep our open source issues on GitHub in sync with our internal issue tracking tool (Jira) - this means we can continue to keep our issues in the open source domain while benefiting from the delivery management features in Jira

  ### 16. An extra pair of hands

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Unito?**

It's like having an extra member on our team bringing all the updates from different sources! It saves us a few hours a day and we are able to streamline our processes by keeping everything together.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Sometimes the flows disconnect and stop sync'ing so we have a backup method to alert us of updates so that we can force sync from the dashboard. Doesn't always work, though.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can avoid checking for updates on each of the boards we keep for all our clients, and instead the contents are pulled directly into where we have our own workflows

  ### 17. Uniting Asana and Jira

  ### 24. I love Unito!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Savannah S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Unito has completely changed my business workflows, for the better! It saves me so much time as it syncs efforts seamlessly throughout my many Trello boards. I can't imagine my business without Unito now, it's that integral. Special shoutout to Natacha, who has given me incredible support as I have tried to figure out how to best use Unito for my business. I first started with 50+ syncs, and honestly it was a LOT of work each week to manage the syncs to add new labels, troubleshoot issues, etc. Natacha helped me identify that I could actually cut my syncs in half, which has saved me SO much time each week! It's also so much easier to manage and troubleshoot issues now that I have less syncs. She made it seemlessly integrate to a "Master Trello Board", which solved a lot of my duplication issues that were causing issues with my syncs before.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

I would have probably given up on Unito if it wasn't for Natacha stepping in and helping me reduce my number of syncs and make them all integrate seemlessly. Im so grateful that she was able to improve my Unito workflows and make it work without any issues! I used to have to go into Unito and write support tickets at least once a week when I had 50+ flows, now that I only have 25, I have had zero issues with my syncs! I hope to never have to bother her again LOL. But honestly, I owe her so much as she has incredibly improved my Trello/Unito workflows and made it work seamlessly. I now feel 100% confident that I can keep scaling my team and rely on Unito, without having to hit up support ever again (hopefully!). So for my dislikes, I wish I knew earlier on that I could actually make my workflows much less complicated/easier. But I don't really think that is the fault of Unito, that was just me not knowing the best way to use it. SO grateful that Natacha stepped in to show me how I perfect my Unito setup. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH! Unito customer for life now!

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

Get in touch with their support if you run into any frustrations! It can be a little tricky to figure out at first, but once you have the system optimized, it is a life saver!

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have a LOT of Trello boards that all need to sync with eachother. I used to have to sync them manually, which took hours of my week to project manage! Having information seamlessly flow between boards has been a LIFESAVER and has allowed me to scale my business. I cant imagine running my business without Unito now

  ### 25. Unito is a service that works without you knowing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul G. | Co-founder & Project And Process Manager, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Unito?**

The best is that I can setups the syncs and it just works from then on. I do not have to wonder if information will get lost or if things will fall through the cracks. I can go in and update the syncs to get it just right and then forget about it.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

The setting up is not always straight forward and some settings are buried inside other menus.

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

Take some time and make sure the setup is correct before you finish the setup and forget about it.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm syncing Asana projects from one workspace to another workspace. The best is I do not have to sync all the tasks in the project but can filter spesific tasks. I can also remap the different sections and different field to match the correct fields if they differ from workspace to workspace.

  ### 26. The product is great, the inital experience was not the best one but Graham changed that.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin K. | Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Unito?**

The ease with which I can set up the workflows and manage the different boards. I actually started using trello for instant tasks creation and assignments. Compared to competitors - I don't believe that unito has a real competition.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

I didn't like the way the customer service team handled my issue, but I loved how Graham took care of it and spend additional time to actually explain to me what measures the company took in order to prevent such issues in the future.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The issue we are solving with unito is to provide transparency to our partners.

  ### 27. Unito makes work easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Unito?**

When you use different work flow program the trick is to get them to speak to each other and work seamlessly. That's Unito!

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

It takes some time to really get the way it works.

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

Don't over think the choice. Give Unito a try

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unito simply allows us to use our multiple platforms in one integrated fashion.

  ### 28. Unito Really UNITED Our Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin M. | General Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Unito?**

We were having a hard time syncing our Trello cards across teams and projects. We were also having hard time with multiple projects being worked on by multiple teams with multiple boards. Enter Unito. We were able to sync, mirror and align all of our cards and project management became so much easier.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

I don't see many downsides. I guess the only thing that was hard was having to go to Unito to add/sync users. It would be great it it all synced into Trello a bit easier.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our problem is project management... it's hard to sync users across large diverse teams. Using Unito we have been able to manage our projects better and spend less time on project management (and therefore more time doing our work!)

  ### 29. The integration ids are a problem. Had problems finding my workspace and moving from free to paid.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Unito?**

It works pretty quickly to move data from one application to another.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

It does not handle custom fields and it took several iterations with support to use the copy feature. It never ended up working and I had to create 13 workflows by hand between JIRA and Github. I had 13 repos that I needed to connect to the same JIRA project and copy never worked.

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

Consider your use cases.
See if they match what Unito can do.
Stability of the software has been great. I've not noticed any downtime with regards to synchronization across applications as yet.
I would make copy more stable to be able to template out processes that can be copied. This would make it much easier to spread uses. It will also allow others to have examples to start with that they could tweak to make their own and work within the workflow they need in order to be able to accomplish their tasks.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integration between github issues/PRs and JIRA tickets.

  ### 30. Easy tool, Great customer support!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua U. | Software Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Unito?**

I've been using Unito for about a month, the best part about it was getting it up and running so quickly and testing it out. It was a little challenging at first to get it set up, but after a little experimenting and trial and error, it was pretty easy to understand. Most of the basic features fit what we need to do, and you can't beat that for the price!

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

I would like to see all basic JIRA fields covered (for example, epic status is something we can't sync over right now unless we go to a higher tier plan) and a little bit more flexibility around custom fields. Possibly giving 1 or 2 custom fields to sync over would fit a lot of people who are on the basic plan who can't justify spending more per month to their bosses.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team has used it to sync one jira project over to another jira project of a different domain.

  ### 31. Unito Has Been a Game Changer for Organizing the Company's Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Customer Service is fantastic! We have a dedicated customer success rep (Fanny) who helps make the implementation (the most important part) so seamless.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

I wish you could sync checklists and what all has been marked off of it within Trello. I use Unito for Trello and need to be able to have our ops team to quickly see on their board how each of the departments are doing on their boards. Being able to see on their checklist what all they've checked off and where they're at in the project is key. I know there is the ability to transfer a checklist from one board to another, but it doesn't transfer what has been checked off and what hasn't. That would be a real game changer if it could do that.

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

I love Unito! It has been absolutely incredible for communication between departments and getting work to clients on time. The dedicated customer success representative is key in implementing the program and I am so grateful for that. That way you don't have to start over with a new person every time explaining what your setup is. When you have a dedicated person, they know right where you left off, they know how your company is set up, and you don't have to reexplain yourself every single time.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication between different teams is updated instantly so bodies of work get to clients faster and on time.

  ### 32. Use and Recommend on a Regular Basis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Unito makes Trello a powerhouse for us. Our product teams use it every day to sync boards across product verticals and departments. Without Unito, we wouldn't be able to easily view work in flight or understand our product deliverable. Unito is easy to use and set up, syncing happens with almost no issues ever, and the interface is nicely integrated into Trello (where we already work).

Note: This is for Unito Board sync. I cannot speak to the Card Sync product.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

There is no easy/obvious way to share admin ownership of flows between two people. Perhaps it is doable, but I cannot find it.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Unito primarily to share priorities and product delivery details across our large set of product and development teams. We save tons of time doing this with Trello and Unito, where we previously used spreadsheets (nightmare). The tooling saves so much and is more accurate/up-to-date.

  ### 33. Amazing support, great tool.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eleni K. | Director of International Operations, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Unito?**

They have the best support team and a great onboarding process. I use the board sync feature for Trello, and their support team has been on calls and chats and email exchanges with me about everything, plus they even send followup emails to check on the progress.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

The flows are a little too complicated to build and I wouldn't have been able to do them on my own - without the help from the support team. I'd like to see more options like syncing one-way flows but with comments & other add-ons, and the option to remove single cards from a sync.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My Trello boards are all synced perfectly and I don't have to worry about someone not seeing their tasks or missing a deadline.

  ### 34. Unito does what it does very well

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Once we got the initial sync structure set up it has been working quietly and reliably without requiring ongoing attention. It does it's job.

Whenever I needed help in the initial working out of how to get it to do what I hoped it would do, the Unito support team has been quick to respond and work with me to arrive at resolution. In this world of bot responders, I am grateful for the real people on the Unito team and their real interactions with me when I need them.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Trello comment formatting can be glitchy on the sync'd side.

If you start entering content into the card description on a new card before the initial sync, the first sync will eat your words if you haven't saved it yet. A small gotcha.

Not so much complaints as feature requests...

I'd love to see comment edits synced across trello boards. And it would be handy to be able to customize the template for the snippet that references the synced card.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syncing multiple project trello boards -- currently 24 separate boards -- to a single team assignment board gives our daily priority meeting a clear focus on the work in play without requiring any extra work to prepare. This fills a gap in trello that had been troubling us for years.

The initial set up took some thinking through because we were mapping from boards organized by project stages to a board organized by person. Every time I hit a snag the folks at Unito were quick to respond to my questions and helped me arrive at a beautiful solution that has been working without a hitch for about a year now.

We have forgotten how much trouble it used to be to generate that overview.

**Official Response from Unito Marketing Team:**

> Thanks for the fantastic review and for all your feedback Lisa! We have a solution for the issue of descriptions being wiped which is specific to Trello, and we also support rich text formatting of comments, it just involves entering a bit of JSON code into your flow. I believe Hannah from our CS team has reached out to you to help with those two items. For the rest, that's really great feedback, so we'll be adding it to our feature request backlog! Thanks again!"

  ### 35. The Unito team is a pleasure to work with

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Unito?**

They did a few zoom calls with us for onboarding, and were very prompt in terms of responses. In terms of the product, the newest update has been rolled out last year. We do like the functionalities of the syncs, especially the new visual mapping.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Before the newest update, we had an issue with cards being duplicated multiple times. After a few weeks, the Unito team has fixed the issue and offered us a partial refund. In terms of the product, we do wish to see more customization of the syncs, especially since we have multiple people working on multiple teams.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main pain point we are solving with Unito are board syncs / mirroring. In terms of benefits, it allows us to create a Trello card once, and then it copies over and repeats the card for other team members. Mirroring also includes comments, checklist items, etc, which is really useful.

  ### 36. Great for my Jira/Trello sync

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wojciech B. | Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Setting up the integrations between Jira and Trello boards was really intuitive and only took me a couple of minutes.
I also like that I can force a sync if I need to.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Not everything could be synced easily. A good example for now, which I'm very mych looking forward to is integrating of Jira users and Trello users. At the moment I still need to assign people in both places.
Another thing would be smoother integration of attachments. Direct integration instead of just links.

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

No real recommendations besides my use case. Syncing Jira and trello is quite easy with it, so I can definitely recommend it for that purpose.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Double bookkeeping between Trello (that a part of my team uses) and Jira (that everyone elses uses) this way I can keep a good overview of the overall flow, while the trello aficionados can work only in trello, while everything is kept track of seamlessly in Jira.

  ### 38. Sorcery for your Trello World

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacki L. | Founder, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Phenomenal automation builder tool that's super intuitive. Like a combination of Salesforce Flow Builder and Outreach's API mapping tools.

Everyone I've interacted with is knowledgable and darling. Shout out to Jeremie and Jesse!

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Nothing yet... I guess maybe the learning curve before my onboarding session? I started with the Mirror tool and kinda got intimidated by the Sync tool. But once Jesse walked me through it I get it!

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

The pricing is a bit unclear - the total users needed might be more than your internal headcount if external users are in your environment.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project managing developer resources across several client boards - surfacing those tickets so I can estimate and communicate expected ship dates.

  ### 39. Syncing JIRA to ClickUp using Unito

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Unito?**

We have tested both Unito and Zapier syncing tools and we much prefer Untio. We found that the UX is much easier to work in compared to Zapier. While Unito does not have as many connections as Zapier, we noticed that the connections Unito does have seem to be built better. We prefer Unito for 2 primary reasons: 1) Setting up the connections is much easier and intuitive and 2) connections seem more reliable.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

There are 3 main issues that stick out to me:
1) Would like to see more connections to additional software. We are using the new JIRA to ClickUp sync which seems to work well but we also use other tools (such as Salesforce) where I would love to see connections built.
1.A) The ClickUp sync could have more functionality. I understand this is a relatively new
connection, so this is still the MVP, which works great! I just wanted to make sure this was on
             the roadmap for enhancements.
2) Since we will be using the JIRA > ClickUP 1-way sync functionality, it would be great if we can auto-populate the JIRA link url into the ClickUp Task.
3) More trigger events would be nice. This might be only because I'm using the JIRA>ClickUp connector, but it would be great to see more fields and trigger events that we can use.

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

Try both Unito and Zapier (or other syncing tools) to fully appreciate the UX of Unito.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Unito to sync our Jira instance to ClickUp. Jira is where all of the developers track their work and it is the source of truth for any Prod/Tech related items. We are also using ClickUp to help us track and manage larger milestones that contain both Technology items as well as non-tech items. We plan to use a 1-way sync from JIRA to ClickUp, using Unito, to update our Tech items in ClickUp while manually updating the Non-Tech items in ClickUp. While we are still in the POC stage of this sync, we hope that this will provide us more real-time updates on our items so that we can track more efficiently.

  ### 40. Outstanding software and customer service, total WIN for me.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donn F. | IT Mgr, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Unito was the answer to moving my project to the finish line. I needed the real time sync and the flexibility within the settings of the program. This combined with Trello gave me the ending to my year long project. Customer support is outstanding. A winning combination for me!

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Right now I have no dislikes or downsides. The price wasn't even a downside because the ROI was very clear to me.

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

When looking into Unito, utilize the demo and working with a rep from the company. Ask, ask, ask all your questions. When you have more questions, ask. The power of the program is there, you just need to ask. Think out load while talking to representative so that person can understand what you are trying to do. There is almost always more than one way to do something and the representative just might have some really interesting and helpful thoughts on your project.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unito provided the missing link that I need to make the system and work flow I was creating possible. It has opened up real time, two way communication within our organization as well as a 3rd party that we work with daily. Those two components were the magic sauce to creating a system that opened up real time communication, save hours and hours for the end users, no more double and triple entering of data, no more back and forth calls, texts or emails. It's a beautiful thing.

  ### 41. Integrations between apps softly and easy done.

**What do you like best about Unito?**

I was searching a tool to integrates Zendesk with Asana in a simple way.

I was ALMOST selecting other tool when I logged into zendesk marketplace and decided to "take a view" in all the apps avaliable for sync with other tools. I´ve fount Unito and decided to test it.

In other sync platforms, that say that integrates, you have to create the full logic yourself in order to do the integration. So I spend almost 1 week creating logics in other integration tools, testing all the cases to see if they work, contacting their support.

What I most liked in Unito is that NOTHING of that is needed. I entered in Unito, selected the tools and spaces that I need to sync, turned it on and BANG, the magic worked. Everything that took me 1 week to set in other plataforms with CS help, in Unito ive done entirley myself in less than 1 hour.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Couldn't sync attached files between Asana and Zendesk, but hope they will get attiched files into sync logic.

They range of applications that they cover is not so big, but users can vote for next apps they shal integrates with their syncs.

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

My recommendations are:
If the software you need to integrates it´s on Unito list, go for it. The fact that anyone with no IT skils could integrate apps in Unito make its a really great tool for integration.
On the other hand, if you need to implement complex logics between your APIs, with different triggers, maybe Unito will not fite to your entirely needs.
Since the tool free for 14 days for trial, without credit card info needed, take your shoot and test if Unito fills your needs.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was searching a tool to integrates Zendesk with Asana in a simple way.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Once I purchased a package, I believed that it would not work for what I needed. I reached out to customer service to reverse my purchase and Jesse got back to me very quickly. He set up a time to chat and show me all that Unito is capable of. It's exactly what I need! It's very user friendly! Jesse later followed up with me to make sure I wasn't having any problems with the interface. The BEST customer service!

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

There are a few bugs, but I believe that once they are worked out, this product will be even better!

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed cards to mirror from one main board out to several smaller boards. The ease of this power up is so convenient.

  ### 43. Awesome! One of the best online tools i have used for process flows.

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Unito?**

It is easy to setup, integrates well with Trello and Github and, acts as an invisible member of our team that keeps us aligned

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

The creation of the bot. I wish creating the bot was an easier task.

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

If you are using multiple tools and the performance of your team is a nightmare due to confusion or misinfromation based the disconnection between the tools, you need Unito. You really need to integrate them to make a better process flow management and Unito is the way to go.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unito is solving a process flow problem for us. We have multiple teams, some are on Trello and Some are on GitHub. We need to keep activities in sync and allow both worlds to come together. With Unito, we now able to improve our performance and focus on designing and building working software. Our designers are very creative in their cards on Trello and this allows our Devs to know when they need to start working on a issue once it's fleshed out by syncing it to Github.

  ### 44. Easy setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter Z. | Conversion Rate Optimisation Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Fast and easy to setup. It was great to be able to control which way various fields mapped and to control what mapped where.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

I did have to be shown where to find how to map various different user accounts together. Easy enough to do but would have been great to have had this pointed out as a first step.

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

For syncing between Trello board, Trello and Asana or Hubspot, its the way to go!

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client is using Trello, we're using Asana and I need once place for my team to go to check tasks and for me to assign workload.

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Working on one task without being warried of check back and forth among different boards

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

I can't mirror labels and in case of erase of a task you cannot go back and mirror again it

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

Ask for help and they will help closing your issues.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to manage the escalation process inside my Company. With Mirror I can escalate issues from the boards of project managers to the one visible to the CEO asking for support or giving updates

  ### 46. overall Unito has done what i need it to do and the support has been excellent.

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Overall it is stable and does what i need it to do.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

Each sync has to be done individually - lots of clicking when i do updates in trello and need to sync unito

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

If you are looking for a syncing tool for trello, once you get the hang of it, this is a great tool.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

syncing multiple boards to individual dashboards.

  ### 47. Great tool to sync data between systems!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Unito?**

Ease of setup - we were able to get started same-day!

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

We used Unito to sync data during a project management migration project. There didn't seem to be a way to fully sync data (some manual work needed on our end) for some properties after our initial sync.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had 1 month to migrate our team's Project Management tool, and needed to get the data in before the folks moved into the new tool. Unito allowed us to get the data in without having to have a hard deadline

  ### 48. The secret sauce for alignement between teams.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maxim G. | Marketing Director, Broadcast Media, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Unito?**

We're building a website with our developers- who are in Jira - and I need to have an overview of everything they're working on within my marketing Trello board. I'm able to sync the issues I want from Jira to my Trello board, without having to play around in the developers' board. They have their workflow, I have mine. All the info I need is synced continuously, so everyone knows what's going on at all times.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

There's a learning curve. It's a little hard to figure out at first, but once you understand how the filtering options works, you realized how powerful it really is.
We're already paying for all a bunch of collaboration tools, so it's a hard sell internally. Unless they've played around in the tool, it's hard to make stakeholders understand the real value of Unito. It solves a lot of problems that just aren't really visible in the day-to-day work.

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

Take the time ti understand how to use the tool. It can be ahrd at first, but once you get how it works it will change the way you work.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross-team alignment is really the major one. Project management is a lot easier when you can have an overview of everything that's being done in every tool. I haven't used it for work dispatching yet, but I think that could be another interesting use case. One master board to rule them all and cards dispatched to users in their personal boards or tools.

  ### 49. Synchs our data between Jira and Asana

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

Check in regularly and help me setup more advanced intergation

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Biz side uses asana, tech uses jira. Keeps biz updated on tech sprints

  ### 50. Unito is an essential power-up for Trello

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gunner M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Unito?**

My team and I use the Unito Mirror power-up to keep our projects organized across multiple boards. So far it has worked fantastically.

**What do you dislike about Unito?**

I have no major complaints. If I were to nitpick I would say that occasionally the time it takes to sync cards is a bit inconsistent. Sometimes it seems to take a bit longer than normal.

**Recommendations to others considering Unito:**

I have no special recommendations for others considering Unito. However, I want to use this field to shout out Natacha. I had a strange issue when trying to set up a bot account. Natacha and I got on a call where I shared my screen and she quickly resolved my problem. She seemed super friendly and genuine. It was one of the most pleasant customer service interactions I've ever had.

I was already happy with Unito but speaking with her gave me even more reassurance that I made the right purchase.

**What problems is Unito solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work with a small team but each of us has completely different roles. We also all work remotely. Effectively communicating without constantly chatting with one another has proved challenging.

Before Unito we were adding notes on multiple cards for the same project. Now we have a central card for each project that we keep up to date. Over time this has saved us a ton of needless labor.
