Founded in 2009 by three digital data nerds in Manhattan, United Virtualities has grown to over 100 awesome employees spread across 4 offices around the world. UV works deeply with mid-to-large global companies and brands, including HP, J.Crew, Godiva and Scholastic. ## United Virtualities Reviews ### 1. Epee Review of United Virtualities **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2020 **Describe the project or task United Virtualities helped with:** Epee Consulting hired United Virtualities to create a website for a virtual education platform designed to teach students and young professionals what schools do not provide. **What do you like best about United Virtualities?** United Virtualities has been a pleasure to work with. Beyond their staff being both knowledgeable and friendly, they provided us with a complex website for a fraction of the cost of the competitors. They did this by developing new ways to leverage and integrate existing tech, rather than developing custom tech from scratch. Initially I was concerned this would create a Franken-site, but their seamless design and application provided beautiful results. **What do you dislike about United Virtualities?** It's honestly hard to state items that I disliked. During the initial development phase we had some challenges meeting project milestones (it's a project, that happens), but the team came through when it mattered and delivered a fully functional website on time for beta testing. The only real negative I had was the lack of training and documentation on how to update and modify the website after it was turned over. Even then, I cannot hold it as a negative, since UV independently decided to make this right during the post-beta refresh. Beyond that, I guess it's worth noting that their project teams are frequently remote, so there may be no opportunity for face-to-face interaction. Their project managers maintain continuous contact so I personally had no issue with that, but some people may not like feeling physically disconnected. **Recommendations to others considering United Virtualities:** If you are looking for thoughtful, creative solutions to web design concepts that are more technically challenging than most companies can provide, United Virtualities should be your first stop. Not only do they have the ability to provide what others cannot, you will find them to be more cost effective and easy to work with as well. **What problems is United Virtualities solving and how is that benefiting you?** Overall, I hired UV to provide a platform that enabled professionals across every industry to share their experiences in a way that provided students and young professionals the breadth of topics that secondary schools and universities never cover. The students and young professionals that I brought in for the beta were so enthusiastic about this that they asked to be unpaid interns just to be involved in it!!
