**What do you like best about CS2?**

What I appreciate most about CS2 is their ability to balance high-level strategy with tactical execution. They aren't just order takers who wait for a ticket. They also act as a proactive extension of our GTM team.

Whether they are advising on long-term roadmaps for tools like Clay or jumping into the trenches to fix a HubSpot-Salesforce sync error, they bring a level of expertise that allows us to stay lean without sacrificing operational depth. They have a knack for simplifying complex GTM problems and turning them into measurable, clean processes that actually scale.

A standout highlight has been working with Joy Martinez, who is a phenomenal project leader. Her mastery of organization kept us focused and grounded, and her ability to navigate complex roadmap discussions made every meeting both productive and enjoyable. It truly feels like having an elite, full-time leader embedded in our team.

**What do you dislike about CS2?**

Honestly, there isn't much to dislike about the quality of their work. If I had to pick something, it’s simply the fact that they are only a fractional partner because I’d hire the team full-time for my own RevOps department in a heartbeat if I could. Because they are a highly sought-after agency, you do need to stay organized with your project scoping to ensure you're maximizing your time with their experts. But that’s a small trade-off for the level of strategic value they bring to the table.

**Recommendations to others considering CS2:**

If you are a lean team looking to scale quickly, I highly recommend CS2. My best advice for getting the most out of the partnership is to come prepared with a clear sense of your priorities. Because they are deep experts across the entire stack, from HubSpot/Salesforce syncs to advanced Clay roadmaps, it’s easy to want them to do everything at once. To maximize their impact, stay disciplined with your project scoping and use them for your most complex strategic challenges. They are a high-value resource, and the more organized you are on the front end, the faster they can pave the way for your success.

**What problems is CS2 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a lean RevOps team, we used CS2 for fractional Marketing Ops and complex project support on other GTM projects. They have been a vital strategic partner in helping us stabilize and scale our GTM engine.
They first focused on fixing our foundational HubSpot instance and resolving recurring sync errors with Salesforce. Once the plumbing was secure, they helped us build out funnel metrics we previously couldn't measure and visualized them in Salesforce dashboards.

Beyond the core CRM, CS2 guided our Clay implementation, providing a clear roadmap and actionable recommendations for how to best leverage the tool. They also handled the heavy lifting on campaign hierarchies and have stepped in during high-pressure moments to process large event lists on tight deadlines. Their expertise has allowed us to move faster and paved a clear path for our success across our entire tech stack.

They’re very structured and reliable, and they put a lot of care into documenting not just what was done, but why. That’s been super helpful for us long term. They’re also proactive about recommending what we should be doing to set ourselves up for future success, not just executing tasks.

Brian Morris has been great to work with. He’s responsive, easy to work with, and quick to jump in when we need something. He’s also realistic about what will actually be beneficial for our business and works within our constraints. It really feels like they’re both a strategic and executional partner.

It would be nice to see a bit more flexibility in their pricing structure depending on changing needs.

CS2 supports us across a range of marketing ops needs, from day to day troubleshooting to bigger strategic projects. That includes things like data integrity, syncing data across systems, integrations, and automation. Having them involved means issues get resolved quickly and things are set up the right way from the start.

It’s been especially helpful as a lean team. Their documentation and process rigor make sure we’re not losing context over time, and it gives us a solid foundation to scale without creating problems down the line.

We found CS2's extensive knowledge of HubSpot and automations incredibly valuable, along with their understanding of industry best practices for campaigns, automations, processes, and data. Their project management is outstanding, and their communication is very good. They have really helped our two-member RevOps team by addressing projects we didn't have the bandwidth to complete over the past year. We've even started using them to enhance our knowledge of Clay. If teams are strapped for bandwidth and need help with GTM tools, data or automations for pipeline or marketing efforts, I'd definitely consider using CS2.

While they're happy to support any technology we choose, we have also made some changes and additions to our marketing tech stack based on the experience they've had with other clients.

No downsides come to mind. CS2 can be a little pricey, but they deliver a lot of value for their fees. In addition to helping with marketing operations, they've completed some sales operations projects for us, and this has helped us maximize the impact they drive on our business.

Through their consulting services, CS2 has greatly improved our approach to our GTM strategy and continues to play a pivotal role in its iteration moving forward. Their approach allows us to be dynamic in sourcing top-tier leads to our sales team, a significant improvement from our previous stagnant and manual methods. Their multi-faceted lead scoring model is incredibly beneficial, as it integrates various factors such as job title and account propensity to buy, based on previous closed won data, set up in an easily trackable format. Lifecycle tracking provided by CS2 is another area I value, as it maps a prospect's journey from pre-qualified to Closed Won, offering crucial data that was previously unavailable to us. CS2's expertise is further demonstrated in their insights into the Lifecycle object within Salesforce, alongside their invaluable scoring model methodology, which has greatly helped in conceptualizing and implementing effective workflows between tools like Salesforce and Marketo. **What do you like best about CS2?**

I had the pleasure of working with Jerel and Ruben from CS2's Campaigns Ops team, and they were absolutely fantastic partners. They helped us dig out of a major capacity deficit and quickly became an indispensable part of our day-to-day operations.

They’re responsive, professional, and incredibly easy to collaborate with - great for both sanity checks and brainstorming new approaches. CS2 integrated seamlessly with our internal teams and brought structure and organization through useful templates and documentation that we still use today.

I can confidently say our marketing operations function wouldn’t be where it is without their partnership. Highly recommend CS2 for MOps teams of any size looking for experienced, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable collaborators.

Not a dislike and honestly something I respect is how Charlie and Crissy protect their team's time, which sometimes meant they weren't able to commit to more work with us. Any downsides that come to mind are related to our own internal processes - nothing CS2 was responsible for!

So far, there have been no downsides to working with CS2. They stay very aligned to our business priorities, are timely and clear with communication, and they document everything.

CS2 has been instrumental in stepping into our business and helping to realign and address deep foundational issues preventing us from making intelligent decisions about the impact of our GTM initiatives. We have significant foundational tech debt and they hit the ground running fixing it from the very start of our funnel. Their communication, professionalism, and genuine expertise in the proposed solution as well as intricate knowledge of Salesforce. Their development team is also top notch. They are collaborative partners when it comes to change management, and will adapt to your sprint cycles for deployment into production. Lastly, they are thorough in documentation, and have really capable administrators with in-depth knowledge of Salesloft, LeanData, and Marketo, in addition to your CRM tool.

**What do you dislike about CS2?**

Level setting the collaborative approach at the beginning of the implementation took some time, and engaging the folks who need to be part of the conversation is something that could be slightly improved. While communication with the core stakeholders was great, there was some time wasted in waiting for inputs, whereas a slightly more proactive approach with those stakeholders would have been preferred. These are minor issues that can be easily improved, however might be challenging at very large organizations.

**Recommendations to others considering CS2:**

CS2 will deliver you the right solution that will suit the need, however consider engaging all the primary stakeholders to arrive at a common consensus that the solution being implemented is the correct one for your business. CS2's work is impactful when the strategy is clear, and can deliver results.

**What problems is CS2 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CS2 specifically partnered with us to help improve our ability to track the lifecycle of leads and contacts all the way down to opportunities that are closed won or lost. This resulted in improvements to how we track leads and contacts, and ensuring that all opportunities have contact roles associated. We also had closer ties between Leads, Contacts and Opportunities than we've ever had before, with the account development team having custom dashboards to ensure leads and contacts reach sales ready status (along with better integration with Marketo), and the custom Lifecycle object in Salesforce being accessible to various dashboards. The best thing about CS2 is that they feel like a true partner, not just another vendor. Throughout our whole multi-month project, they were right there in the trenches with us.

Their team is super sharp, pays close attention to all the little details (personally this is HUGE), and their communication was fantastic. We also had some real inefficiencies in how we handled leads and tracked them through the whole funnel, which meant a lot of extra manual work for our marketing/sales operations team. **What do you like best about CS2?**

They are very knowledgeable and in touch with industry best practice. They have hopped on calls last minute to provide expertise that aren't even directly in their area - just to see how they could help. They are easy to communicate/work with, and they help us project manage and see projects through to the end (with results).

**What do you dislike about CS2?**

Nothing, they deliver best-in-class services

**What problems is CS2 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've worked with CS2 for years now and they are truly a part of our team. They have been incredible at leading critical projects, and supporting our internal MOPs team when we need extra set of eyes or help crossing the finish line. They created the lead lifecycle in just a couple months (from idea to execution).  They have worked with us through a complex systems migration that took several months and helped solve every challenge that came our way. They help us on a regular basis to keep the "engine" running smoothly. Everyone needs CS2!

We can always rely on Matt and Grant from CS2 to listen to our problems or challenges we run into, provide recommendations, and offer to help get things set up. Their knowledge around Marketo and Salesforce is truly impressive and I've learned so much from them since working together.

**What do you dislike about CS2?**

There is not one thing I dislike about CS2.

**Recommendations to others considering CS2:**

CS2 also has a podcast series as well as YouTube channel where they share their wealth of knowledge with the world. I would recommend checking those out if you are looking for a new agency to work with. We've worked with several of their team members in the past and all of them are great and super knowledgable.

**What problems is CS2 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some of the larger projects CS2 has helped us with is getting Order of Operations established in Marketo to reduce racing conditions between campaigns by allowing processes to run in a predefined order and creating a Lead Lifecycle. They've also supported us in creating an opt-in process that is GDPR compliant and helped us with scenario testing to ensure everything was working as intended. There are too many projects we've worked on together to list here but if there is a problem to solve or a challenge we run into, we can count on CS2 to provide any support necessary to help us overcome this obstacle.

I've worked with a few MOps agencies and CS2 provides the best support and they're very action oriented! Their team is top notch and Grant and Matt always make sure they consult the larger CS2 team when problems arise and we need extra advice. I love the meeting recaps that Matt sends to keep us on track.

Nothing - CS2 is my favorite MOps agency!

CS2 has been integral in our system migration. Our team typically has many priorities and CS2 works with us to outline the plan of action every week. Over the last few months of the migration CS2 has talked through risks and migration plans for countless hours, resulting in a smooth transition the risks were minimized with a strategic plan. In my time working with CS2, I've seen them successfully launch Order of Ops in our MAP and close many gaps in our lead and lifecycle processes like reducing fields syncing from CRM to MAP and setting up an automation to auto-recycle lifecycles.

Sometimes, responses may be delayed, and the overall consulting services come at a premium price. It would be great if we could contract by project. However, I completely understand that this would be a difficult model to scale from their perspective.

They were so easy to partner with. They anticipated our needs and came up with unique solutions to our problems. Their knowledge of all the platforms that we were using were unparralled. I could always bounce a question off them when I needed a second opinion or help flushing out an idea.

Communication is the best. We've had multiple internal stakeholders flow in and out at various stages of projects and the CS2 team is able to maintain strong comms across every team.

**What do you dislike about CS2?**

Literally nothing. I've worked with mutliple agencies in the space and they've now become my forever agency <3

**What problems is CS2 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team was struggling with a Frankenstein-esqe techstack with multiple undocumented integrations, outdated processes, and problematic setups that were leading to significant workflow gaps and reporting errors. On top of this, we were making the switch from Pardot to Hubspot, a massive undertaking on it's own. The CS2 team came in as true partners with digging in to understand the background and systems, proactively surfacing areas we hadn't flagged, and putting together a project plan that kept things moving quick. 

We're 4 months in with them and they've been TOP NOTCH the entire time, from communication to execution to strategy. I truly feel like I have an extended marketing and revenue ops team.
