Is Unanet CRM free, or does it offer a free trial?

Who is Unanet CRM pricing best suited for?

Unanet CRM by Cosential's pricing is best suited for mid-market AEC firms — architecture, engineering, and construction companies with 51–1,000 employees — that have dedicated business development and marketing teams. The overwhelming majority of G2 reviewers fall in this segment, spanning construction, civil engineering, and architecture and planning industries. One G2 reviewer explicitly notes it is ideal for firms past $10–15M in annual revenue, with smaller firms better served by lower-cost alternatives. Enterprise construction and engineering firms also appear in G2 reviews with positive sentiment. Small businesses can adopt it, but G2 reviewers flag the learning curve and cost as potential barriers at that scale.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Unanet CRM?

Unanet CRM by Cosential offers no free tier or freemium version. According to G2's pricing data for Unanet CRM by Cosential, the pricing model is entirely custom-quoted, with no publicly listed tiers. Prospective buyers engage directly for enterprise pricing. G2 reviewers note that certain advanced capabilities — including integrations with third-party tools, add-on modules, and consulting implementation services — carry additional costs beyond the base license. One G2 reviewer specifically flags that add-on connections to other software are "very expensive" and calls for bundle pricing. Evaluation is typically done through a guided demo or implementation process rather than a self-serve free trial.

Is Unanet CRM considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers of Unanet CRM by Cosential are broadly positive about value, particularly for AEC-focused mid-market firms. One G2 reviewer explicitly states it offers "the best value" among competitors, combining robust features with affordability. High-rating reviewers consistently cite proposal automation, Publisher module, pipeline visibility, and Outlook integration as strong returns on investment. However, value concerns do surface: one G2 reviewer notes the cost is "the only downside," another flags add-on integrations as "very expensive" and discouraging, and an early-stage user questions whether it justifies the price. G2 data suggests strongest value for firms above $10–15M in revenue with dedicated CRM administration resources.

What do you like best about Unanet CRM?

There are so many elements of Unanet CRM that I could touch on, but the easiest way to describe our use of the tool is unifying. We have never been more in sync or more current with our opportunities, our pursuits and our strategic thinking. Everyone from Unanet to the consultants we use to support our operations, help to create efficiency and strategic value.

2026: We continue to be supported and impressed by Unanet CRM. This year we added the ProposalAI feature and have been working with that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unanet CRM?

There is very little I dislike about Unanet, but if I were to call out an item or two, it would be the lack of integration on the Account Planning and Opportunity Planning elements. The tools have so much potential, but lack the integration and reporting capabilities we are longing for.

I would like to reiterate that the Account Planning feature within Unanet continues to be weak, and I feel unsupported by any development of this key element of business development and marketing. I would love to see Unanet place more emphasis on this feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
