"The perfect chat tool for sharing datasets and discussing daily metrics"
5/5
What do you like best about Troop Messenger?

As a Data Analyst, my day revolves around pulling reports, writing SQL queries, and sharing insights with different departments. What I love most about Troop Messenger is how well it handles file sharing. Whether I am dropping in heavy CSV files or sharing quick dashboard screenshots, it never lags. The built-in document preview feature is a game changer stakeholders can view my spreadsheets directly inside the chat window without having to download every single file to their local drive. Plus, the screen sharing feature during video calls is super crisp, which makes walking the executive team through complex Tableau dashboards so much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Troop Messenger?

The core messaging and file sharing are spot on, but it would be absolutely amazing to have direct integrations with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Being able to pull automated data alerts or snapshot reports directly into a chat channel would save me from having to manually share updates. What problems is Troop Messenger solving and how is that benefiting you? It completely solves the issue of "version confusion" with reports. Before, I would send a weekly metrics spreadsheet via email, and people would inevitably reply to an old thread looking at outdated numbers. Now, I have dedicated channels for different teams (like Marketing Data or Sales Metrics). I drop the latest report there, and everyone is instantly on the same page. It keeps data discussions centralized and organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Speeds up client deals and team proposals with smart AI tools"
5/5
What do you like best about Troop Messenger?

In business development, speed is everything. Troop Messenger allows our team to turn around prospect answers and proposal docs instantly. The internal messaging is fast, but what really sets it apart is how effortlessly we can organize deal-specific group chats. It keeps our account executives, legal advisors, and sales leads perfectly aligned without cluttering up email inboxes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Troop Messenger?

Honestly, I couldn't find any dislikes everything works great! As a nice-to-have, a sync with CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce would be awesome, but the platform handles messaging perfectly as it is. Overall, a great experience Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The easiest way to share and discuss our data reports."
5/5
What do you like best about Troop Messenger?

As an analytics team, we constantly deliver complex data models, visual dashboards, and performance audits. Troop Messenger makes distributing these large datasets effortless. The built-in document preview feature lets team members review data sheets directly inside the chat interface without cluttering their local storage with endless downloads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Troop Messenger?

No dislikes here! The platform is super easy to use and I'm very happy with it. Sometime down the road, it would be fun to have Tableau or PowerBI plugins to view reports in chat, but overall, it's a fantastic tool with no real downsides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Backbone of our team's daily workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about Troop Messenger?

What I appreciate most about Troop Messenger is that it feels less like a tool and more like a working environment one that adapts to my team’s rhythm. In digital marketing and SEO projects, conversations can get messy, with threads scattered across email, WhatsApp, and random calls. Troop Messenger cuts through that chaos. The way it organizes group chats, one-to-one discussions, and file exchanges makes collaboration feel natural, almost like we’re sitting in the same room.

What stands out to me is the balance between speed and depth. I can drop a quick update in a chat, but I can also share large files or detailed notes without worrying about compatibility issues or lag. It’s not just about messaging; it’s about continuity. When we were running a multi-department SEO audit, Troop Messenger became our single source of truth. No one had to ask, “Where’s that document?” or “Who updated the crawl analysis?” because everything lived inside the platform.

Another subtle but powerful strength is reliability. Tools often promise features, but what matters is whether they hold up under pressure and Troop Messenger does. Even during peak campaign hours, it never feels like the system is straining. That kind of dependability builds trust, and trust is what keeps a team moving forward.

So what I like best isn’t just one feature; it’s the way Troop Messenger creates a sense of flow. It reduces friction, saves time, and lets us focus on the work that actually matters instead of chasing updates across scattered channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Troop Messenger?

If I had to point out something I dislike, it would be that Troop Messenger offers so many features that it can feel overwhelming at first. The platform is packed with options group chats, file sharing, integrations, admin controls and for a new user, it takes a little time to discover what’s most useful. But honestly, that’s more of a learning curve than a flaw. Once you spend a few days with it, the depth becomes a strength because you realize you don’t need to jump between multiple apps anymore.

Another area that could improve is the design polish. The interface is functional and reliable, but a more modern visual style would make the experience even smoother. That said, I’d rather have a tool that works consistently than one that looks flashy but crashes.

So, while there are small areas for refinement, they don’t take away from the overall value. In fact, the only reason I notice them is because the core experience is strong enough that I want it to be perfect. Troop Messenger has already solved the bigger problems of team communication, and the rest feels like fine-tuning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A reliable chat tool that keeps our dev team connected."
5/5
What do you like best about Troop Messenger?

Our engineering team needed a secure, low-latency platform to discuss model training updates, share dataset links, and review technical documentation. Troop Messenger’s search functionality is incredibly precise retrieving past technical notes, specs, or shared code snippets takes seconds. The audio/video call stability during sprint check-ins is also top-tier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Troop Messenger?

There's really nothing I dislike about it; it's an excellent tool! It would be neat to see some GitHub or Jira bots added someday to make dev work even smoother, but overall, I have no complaints at all. Everything works wonderfully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
