**What do you like best about The Demand Department?**

They do their due diligence, their team is incredible at handling the replies by interested leads and following up with them until they book a meeting with us.

**What do you dislike about The Demand Department?**

It's hard for me to say what I "dislike" about people who made my dream of running my own agency come true. I'm grateful I replied to their email and the only reason I had to stop working with them is because I could not handle any more clients.

**Recommendations to others considering The Demand Department:**

Make sure you can handle the leads before you start and that you have the operational capacity. If you're a small shop, sort out your delivery and onboarding first, because the meetings start landing in the first few weeks and you don't want to be the reason they go cold.

**What problems is The Demand Department solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I started my agency, I was manually sending emails cold to potential prospects I wanted to work with. I saw people online tell me this is how it's done, and if you want to get content marketing clients, you should pick clients you want to work with, find their emails and reach out to them. My agency grew largely from referrals as I spent over 4 years working at other agencies (and my cofounder did too), so we managed to grow past 30k in monthly revenue the first 6 months, but we had no means of getting new clients because reaching out cold was not working, and our content efforts took time to bring inbound leads. I then started looking for options and found that the demand department had already reached out to me via email months back. I replied to their email and set up a meeting. They walked me through their system and although the price point was a bit more than what I could afford I decided to give it a go. They created a system that used two LinkedIn accounts as well as cold email, and the first month we booked more than 15 meetings and closed 4 clients, almost doubling our revenue the first 6-8 weeks. They continued running that system for almost 6 months, and it also helped the organic content (that we were doing for ourselves.) We ultimately had to pause all of our agency's marketing efforts, even the content we were doing before that, because even though we grew to a 5-person shop we could not handle the amount of leads they were bringing us. They even helped us get partially acquired.
