Create unlimited test email addresses and mailboxes to automate end-to-end testing of signups, password resets, OTPs, transactional emails, notifications, and other email workflows. Validate email content, links, attachments, headers, authentication, and spam scores using our JSON and GraphQL APIs or the built-in visual email viewer. Use live queries and advanced filtering to reliably retrieve the emails you need, and integrate with any programming language, testing framework, or CI/CD pipeline. ## testmail.app Reviews ### 1. Fast, Reliable Testing with Tags/Namespaces and a Flexible GraphQL API **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Sanket P. | SDE1, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026 **What do you like best about testmail.app?** What we liked the most was the tag/namespace system which makes it easy to just create a namespace or tag for your test and easily fetch the results using it, reliably and quickly. Another good feature was the ability to see spam score and the authentication result with the email which made the troubleshooting part easier. The documentation was easy and we could use any HTTP/Graphql client no restriction as such. We used Graphql API which matched our system and easily integrated it for automated testing. The free tier was generous and made it easy to explore and set up and share with my team to decide if we want to continue with it or not. UI is simple not too fancy and everything is upfront and easy to understand. **What do you dislike about testmail.app?** We didn't find anything to dislike. But maybe a disabled filter would be good since we can only sort with enabled and all namespaces. **What problems is testmail.app solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use testmail.app with cypress and javascript for our e2e testing setup. Our system is otp based login so for all our e2e tests we absolutely need a inbox which we can easily filter. Then we can simply run parallel tests and get the emails as per seperate tag per test and complete the singups easily, also it makes it easier to flag what failed and where it failed. Did the notification not trigger? or otp mismatched? etc. We were recently updating our notification system and testmail helped us test it out manually and while updating test suites also. ### 2. There is a free forever plan with a limit of 100 emails per month with unlimited users, mailboxes and email addresses, perfect for solopreneurs and busier just starting out. **What do you dislike about testmail.app?** Not very beginner friendly. You've got to dig a bit through the documentation to understand what you're doing. A tutorial would be great but there's none available. **What problems is testmail.app solving and how is that benefiting you?** After moving to a new web hosting company and email marketing company, I've had to start my email campaigns from scratch. Testmail.app helps me test my segmentation and triggers for free, helping me to keep my overall costs down. ### 3.
