## Tango Reviews
 ### 1. Quick and Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin B. | Team Principal, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It is very user-friendly and creates wonderful step-by-step how-to docs.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Sometimes it will record too many clicks and gets a little clunky.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlines creating how-to docs with step-by-step instructions.

 ### 2. An amazing tool with loads of flexibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Candice C. | Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I've been using Tango across 2 companies now and this has been one of my favorite tools. While a tool like Loom is interesting for ad-hoc tutorials, if you want to invest in documenting processes, Tango is the way to go.
I love how you literally just have to.. do the process! And it maps automatically. The other feature that it allows a live step by step rather than having two tabs open and trying to figure out where to click.
Last but not least, you can rearrange, rename, add information to all steps produced automatically by Tango - even though the first version is usually more than enough!
It's been a game changer to fast track process documentation!

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I didn't see any downside to Tango so far!

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using it mostly to document processes related to our new Applicant Tracking System.
I've also used it in the past to streamline onboarding of new hires!

 ### 3. Best Tutorial Software!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaitlyn S. | Virtual Academy Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I write a ton of tutorials for our school's staff team, and have loved the ease of Tango for capturing exactly what I need! I appreciate that every screenshot is numbered and labeled; makes it easy to put together my final product.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I wish the blur tool was available in the free version! but other than that, no downsides at all.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango solves the problem of having to create tutorials manually. It used to take me hours to take screenshots, paste them into a document, resize, add captions, etc. Now, with Tango, it only takes a few minutes! Adds valuable time back to my work day & enables better communication with my team.

 ### 4. Accomplishes in minutes what used to take days

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arun R. | Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

D@mnit, where was Tango all those years ago when I was slumming it pasting screenshots into word documents that were ignored and quickly became obsolete ? So much of my life lost documenting stupid software workflows, feature releases, steps-to-recreate. Every suggestion for screen capture thwarted by some security-obsessed goon who couldn't accept that SaaS was moving to the browser.

That's one thing I think about every time I use Tango. The other is: "Why the hell didn't I think of this myself ? "

Props to its creators and builders. I stumbled across Tango randomly about 3 years ago through a Brown alumni reference, I think. I was rotating as a Release Manager on a weekly deployment cadence, and the process needed to be documented but was constantly evolving. Tango was quite new at the time, but it was a godsend.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Hard to say...

ok, it's limited to browser-based applications, but no solution is viable everywhere.

Video capture... yes, it would be amazing. I'm unaware of this is a premium feature or not.

Capturing mobile/tablet workflows. Not sure if it's in the development pipeline but d@mn sam
it would be a

One thing I noticed in my team of product managers and engineers was a paradoxical reluctance to use a tool that made documentation easier b/c they simply hated to document anything. I thought lowering the overhead might encourage more participation but it didn't move the needle. I attribute it to the culture at the time, not the tooling.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

3 years ago I used it as a product manager for documenting some feature releases, documenting deployment procedures, capturing UI flow sequences for troubleshooting and QA.

I recently returned to using Tango as a graduate student / TA to capture set-up procedures and workflows for certain software tools that students need for assignments. Students tend to lack imagination and the willingness to explore -- if they can't find a video on youtube that walks them through every step or an LLM doesn't tell them precisely what to do, they give up and pester their instructors.

 ### 5. Easy and simple to use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghan L. | Sales and Marketing Enablement Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Easy to implement and saves loads of documentation time.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Wish there were more exporting options such as creating a formatted Google Doc based on the Tango created.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us save a lot of time on building new onboarding walkthroughs for platforms, and helps make the onboarding experience more autonomous for technical skill adoption.

 ### 6. Tango newbie

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica S. | Payroll Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I do like the ease of snapping screenshots and making tutorials for training. The editing is easy and user friendly to read and create. Thank you for this product, it is refreshingly new and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Hello all, I have enjoyed working with Tango and learning it. The most difficult part I cannot seem to process is if I forgot a step or need to add a step I cannot seem to capture and input the missing step very easily. Please advise if I am missing on how to do this or if there may be a way to add a captured step into an existing Tango.
It is not very clear how to open the Tango to start. Easy to snap Tangos but there should be an easier way to open the app.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating tutorials for training and ease to look back to process job duties

 ### 7. Impact your organization while making your life easier!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kearney L. | Oracle ERP Training Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

What's not to like? Here are just some of the game changers: The speed at which you can scale "learning in the flow of work" across an organization. The SMEs you will empower. The $$ you will save. The was you can transform how leaders think about "training." The ease of use for your end users. And yes, the compliments you will receive. And it all comes with fast, friendly customer service.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Some of the technical documentation for the tool itself seems outdated. On the other hand, you rarely need to reference it anyway, becasue the platform is highly intuitive.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The need to quickly develop training and adoption materials for an ERP implementation with a short runway, small budget, and zero instructional designers.

 ### 8. Invaluable Tool for Process Development in Small Organizations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robin V. | Project Billing Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The platform is user-friendly and intuitive, making it simple to create professional process documents.
The seamless integration with Chrome was invaluable for capturing processes directly from our workflow.
As a small organization, the tool fit our needs perfectly without overwhelming us with unnecessary complexity.
We’ve created 10 clear and well-structured process documents, improving our foundation's efficiency.
The team behind Tango clearly understands the needs of users, delivering a tool that’s both practical and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Despite its user-friendliness, some initial guidance might be needed for first-time users unfamiliar with process documentation tools.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a very small organization, we’ve found Tango to be a game-changer for process development. So far, we’ve created 10 process documents using the platform, and it has been instrumental in streamlining operations for our charitable foundation. The integration with Chrome has been seamless and incredibly useful, allowing us to quickly capture and organize steps into professional, easy-to-follow guides.

It’s clear that Dan, Ken, and Brian, along with their team of 35, have put a lot of thought into creating a digital adoption platform that works beautifully even for smaller teams like ours. Thank you for building such an amazing product! Highly recommended for any organization looking to improve efficiency and simplify process documentation.

 ### 9. One-Click, Real-Time Instructions Make Training a Breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Farming | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It makes showing someone a new system so much easier, one button press and instructions are created in real time.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

The button is hidden when using it within chrome.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Showing staff how to use new systems.

 ### 10. A Good Starting Point for SOPs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna L. | Director of Training, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The ease of setting up an account and getting started is very user-friendly, especially when collaborating with a team. The free version is actually pretty decent to get SOPs going from scratch.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

It's not as intuitive when clicking various steps and going back and having to edit in-depth is very time consuming. I still may not know the full capabilities of the platform, but I'd prefer something that auto-screen records then takes the steps as I'm screen recording and summarizes it with AI support to generate an SOP simultaneously.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The company I work for has zero SOPs established and no structure of how to do daily operational tasks. As a fast growing company, I need a platform that will easily capture what I'm doing and transform that instantaneously for my teams to successfully be trained and/or reference how to do something correctly in the fastest way possible.

 ### 11. Easy Platform to Use for Internal and External Guides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirsten E. | Quality Technology Specialist II, Biotechnology, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

How fast it is to capture screenshots and the automation on what steps to click.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Honestly there is nothing I don't dislike

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to use Microsoft Word and to form a template with styles. We had to manually type and manually capture screenshots and then manually edit the screenshots with the shape tool to highlight where to click.

 ### 12. Tango is the SOP Creator everyone needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madison R. | Lead Accounts Receivable Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango consistently grabs the information you need, and organizes it in to a step by step list. If you dont like something, or want to edit what it says, so easy to do is post capture. Love Tango , have shared it with every manager i work with. All you have to do is download it to a PDF and then share with your team. Use this on every SOP I create.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

with it would grab things from excel. Some things I pull are the same info as others would utilize

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creation of SOPs. They take so long. Screen shotting then building your own list is so time consuming.

 ### 13. Great Features and more soon!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Criz V. | Digital Content Administration, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Screenshot features and easy to use since this has chrome extension.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I would like it to have a field of a Purpose/Objective, Tools needed and How completion looks like.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training new people.

 ### 14. Tango saves me time and gives my teams power to ask fewer questions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tori B. | Operations Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I love being able to track steps for processes and easily share the link to the workflow guide with my teams.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I wish I could use the extension on non-internet apps like Microsoft office.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rather than having multiple trainings with my teams, I can record a quick screen share and save myself and my teams time.

 ### 15. Tango Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I like that it identifies similarities between the captures and that elinimates extra manual work when blurring out an image; i like that it captures what was clicked on in and highlights a box around it

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I wish there was an undo button in the editing options

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

capturing screen shots provides easy to follow instructions for my customers to use; these questions come up frequently so making something one time that I can utilize repeatedly saves me a lot of time in the long run, once I've built the guide me out

 ### 16. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annie L. | Candidate Experience Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Super helpful tool when training or building out SLAs for the team. Its a much better experience than recording a video since you can skip to certain steps and don't have to rewatch the entire video to get the info you are looking for.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Sometimes Tango doesn't capture everything I click like if its outside the page I'm on like on chrome extensions.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping me create easy to use training guides.

 ### 17. Game changer for team training and SOPs!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly J. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Super easy to use and edit as needed. I use it at least once a week to train team members and new clients on SOPs.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I wish I could customize the spacing, it seems like they give too much space between steps so when downloading as a PDF it tends to get a little long.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly sending out step-by-step guides and SOPs for marketing agency clients. In less than 5 minutes, I have a clean, professional guide that I can send to my clients - saving me over an hour of work!

 ### 18. Great Way to Teach Systems/Processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren S. | Disability Expert and Consultant , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango is so easy to use and creates easy to understand "Tangos" to share with my team.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

That when you delete one captured frame, it unchecks all of the previous frames you have checked to use.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using a Tango to train means I do not have to hold meetings to show staff processes. I can create the Tango, share with the team for them to view on their own, then answer questions as needed.

 ### 19. Good experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

We use Tango to create our job aides. I am not very good at designing these on my own, so Tango helps a lot in order to cut down on the manual screen shots, copy, and paste necessary.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

- My biggest complaint is that there is no way (that I've seen anyway) to save a project as a draft and continue working on it later.
- I don't like that you can't switch the order of steps while you are still working on the screen grab. It would make it a lot easier right off the bat instead of waiting until you have 100s more steps to rearrange.
- I wish there was an option to export as a Word document instead of a PDF so we can make further changes to it.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango helps me create job aides.

 ### 20. Visually Stunning and Incredibly Helpful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yoana M. | Manager of Mental Health, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango is very easy to use and makes super helpful visuals!

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I am not sure if I have anything I dislike about Tango

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helpful to show step-by-step instructions to our team.

 ### 21. Great Tool to Support Training!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Genevieve L. | Training & Professional Development Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I love that I can use Tango to create how-to guides for the entire staff at my school. My main focus with Tango is on productivity tips; it works fantastic for this purpose! I also really appreciate how easy it is to quickly blur out things which are sensitive (ie student data) while still showing exactly how to do something in that system.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

The one thing I wish Tango did which my version does not (I can't speak for others) is recording of things like the tabs in the browser. I wanted to show how to group tabs in Chrome but the program does not grab that information. It is a minor annoyance, but would be very helpful to have.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango specifically solves the problem of providing step-by-step instructions that also give the user the ability to see my screen without watching a video. I train our new teachers and create instructions for them to utilize later, so that they don't have to remember all the steps I showed them during training. It is a huge benefit to me. I also use it to create productivity tips for our whole staff, and it is an easy way to disseminate information quickly and in a way that everyone can easily utilize.

 ### 22. Effortless Process Documentation with Tango

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raiyan A. | Systems Engineer, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango excels in simplifying the documentation of step-by-step processes. Its user-friendly interface allows any team member to easily record and capture detailed guides, making the delegation of tasks straightforward and efficient. The collaborative nature of Tango enables seamless editing and refinement of documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness while saving time.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

While Tango is effective for process documentation, it could benefit from enhanced features such as video and GIF recording to create more dynamic guides. Integration with tools like Loom would be appreciated to improve recording capabilities. Additionally, expanding integration with other productivity tools could further streamline our workflow and enhance efficiency.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango addresses the challenge of efficiently documenting and sharing step-by-step processes within our team. By simplifying the capture and recording of detailed guides, it allows any team member to easily document their tasks, ensuring consistency and accuracy. This reduces the time spent on explaining procedures and minimizes errors, leading to improved productivity. Additionally, the collaborative editing feature enables quick updates and refinements, enhancing the quality of our documentation. Overall, Tango streamlines our workflow, making it easier to onboard new team members and maintain clear, accessible process documentation.

 ### 23. What great way to teach others what I do.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abby B. | Pixel Wrangler, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

When you work in a small organization and is the only one who knows various aspects of your job it becomes very difficult to take leave, be sick, have mental wellbeing day etc. Tango has allowed me to be more flexible and take care of my wellbeing overall.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I’ve used Tango for a little over a year and have no complaints.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango allows others to see into my workday and fully understand the complexity of my roll. By doing so others understand that what they see as a simple task is not as simple as they thought. It gives transparency to my roll.

 ### 24. Easy Guide Creation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The ease of making guides and the support overall

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Better UI and more powerful editing tools

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To create automated process of creating step by step instructions

 ### 25. Turns 3-day projects into 15-minute projects. And I make more content for clients and customers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan C. | Sr. Learning and Development Specialist at Zerofox AND Customer Service Lead Consultant at Tangle News, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I make massive numbers of guides for customers in my consulting job in customer support AND for my day job as an instructional designer for a cyber security company. Normally, this work is painfully tedious.

Taking screenshots
Editing the screenshots to highlight things
Trying to get Google Docs to format correctly
Having to type out (and format) all sorts of directions.

Now, I click the Tango button and go through whatever process I'm trying to document. It's really that easy. Sometimes, I'll have to lightly edit the instructions, but even that is fast and easy. And by the end of it, I've got a fully fleshed-out guide I can share or download as a PDF to hand out to whoever needs it.

How easy is it to use? You quite literally just have to click a button. It's brilliant.

And what about setup, implementation, and integration? Well – I got NO pushback from anyone on my teams when I showed it to them. And setting it up? After you create an email and password, you just need to add the extension to your browser and click it whenever you need a guide. It takes less than a second.

Customers love it too. I get lots of support requests for how to do things in a complicated software platform and for processes on accessing accounts. This makes customer support easy because 1) I can put together a guide in seconds and 2) I now have a CATALOG of guides to hand out. They're all saved in one place, so I don't have to go looking for them.

I use Tangle every single day at work now. And really don't know how I got along without it.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

It's expensive! I'm having to pay for the pro version out of pocket because my little team can't reimburse me the $240 for a paid subscription.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tango in two different roles and it helps with both. I have to document lots of processes and create lots of "how-to" guides for customers in both roles. It would take me hours or days to make these guides before I found Tango. Now I can make the same guides in 15-20 minutes, and they LOOK BETTER! Not only does it make my work easier and faster, but I can now make guides for EVERYTHING, which helps our customers even more.

 ### 26. Tango is extremely user friendly and my coworkers love it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesus A. | Dean of Academics, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I like how I can pause the process and edit the snapshots. My coworkers found it pretty easy to follow along.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

The “Guide me” button is too small that non-computer people do not easily realize that will literally maneuver them through the process.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango is helping with generating a library of work instructions for typical day-to-day instructions for staff.

 ### 27. Life saver for all managers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer P. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I love that Tango creates a step-by-step process guide. I have been able to train staff and give them the tools they need to continue practicing processes on their own. I also love that created Tangos can be saved as PDFs. I have a couple of staff members who want to see the processes on paper. I am still learning all of Tango's features, but I love the fact that you can blur sensitive information. It is also super helpful that you can go back and add steps you may have forgotten by starting a new capture and adding it to the current Tango.

Tango was very easy to learn. I'm sure there are several features I'm not currenlty using. I plan to learn more as I go along.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I do not have any dislikes for Tango. Any issues that I have had, have been user errors. I have the extension in my web browser. I has been glitchy from time to time, but again, it could totally be user error.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango has significantly decreased the amount of time I spend training staff. Typically, staff have questions about the same process, so I can capture that process, and share it with the team and they can learn on their own. Tango has also been beneficial to my learning processes. I was given Tango links when I was training for another office, which is how I learned about Tango.

 ### 28. A fun and surprisingly useful tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antawn E. | Operations & Finance Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Being able to guide new hires and existing employees easily without room for misinterpretation.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I'd like for it to be available as an extension on Safari as well.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my role I often have to create guidance and walkthroughs for various platforms and tools, Tango allows me to easily map out the steps so employees can then follow along instead of having to reach out to me for clarification.

 ### 29. Create trainings in minutes!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I work on a high performing real estate team and we have over 250 tasks to perform per transaction. That means potentially 250 tasks which require instructions! Tango is the easiest and quickest program I've found to create these directions. It's web based and works as an extension on Google Chrome so I don't even have to open any additional programs to use it. I don't even need to use my camera or microphone, either. I launch Tango when I'm preparing to complete a task so it will record my steps as I'm doing it. It seamlessly captures my screen and where I'm clicking. If any edits are needed, it's incredibly easy to clean things up and add more details. Because Tango captures my screen and clicks while I'm actually performing the task, it only takes 1-2 minutes TOPS of additional time for me to make sure everything is coherent enough to be used as an instruction guide.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

It doesn't record video. You don't actually see the mouse movements. You also cannot attach documents to a Tango.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango is helping me train our new employees faster and more efficiently than we've ever trained before. Tango also helps me cross-train our current employees.

 ### 30. Tutorials

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felipe I. | Analista de soporte, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It is very easy to use, even if you are new to this. The results of the tutorials are very clear and professional; all users who review them find them clear and very explanatory. It is an excellent tool.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I still haven't found any disadvantages in the use; when I find them, I will let you know.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to explain in a didactic way the use of a platform that has many features, so it saves me time from meetings that I can avoid by showing tutorials.

 ### 31. Easy and fun to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I like that I can create a How to Guide for teachers, parents, and students. I especially love the feature that allows me to edit the guides. ie after I type my email, I can change the guide to say email rather than my actual email address.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I like everything about it, and haven't found a feature that isn't useful.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have any problems so far.

 ### 33. Great platform form for "How-To's"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsey C. | Property Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Using Tango has been a great way to show my team the correct process for performing a task. Tango makes it easy to explain the steps as if they were happening in real time.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I personally, have not had any issues with using Tango and look forward to use it for any future needs!

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Tango help creating a demonstration on how to do a task has made my work easier and helps my team by letting them refer back to the video if they have any questions pertaining to a specific task.

 ### 34. Quick and practical guides that support my team with processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** João Andrade S. | Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The tool is simple and intuitive to use. In just a few minutes, I can create guides that help my sales team with routine tasks. The materials are attached to the playbook, making it easier to onboard and train new team members.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

The software doesn’t offer video capture options or a Brazilian Portuguese translation.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango makes it easier to train new team members and saves me time by eliminating the need to explain the same task over and over again.

 ### 35. One of the best Chrome Extensions for work!!!!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David K. | Retail Program Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I love how easy it is to use. One of the biggest barriers to new software is learning.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I wish the chrome extension had an option to capture what you were doing outside of chrome as well.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me solve the issue of having to train people in the future.

 ### 36. A Smart Way to Document Processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango records every step of process and creates a clean, step-by-step guide with screenshots and instructions that I can edit and share. It's a valuable tool for helping train new employees. It's fast and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

You have to pay to use advanced features and you cant use it to record Excel.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It cuts down the time it takes to train a new employee since it only takes a few minutes to create step-by-step guides.

 ### 37. Such a time saver!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tia M. | Academic Support Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I love that when I am creating tutorials through Tango I can edit what is screenshot and the description underneath. my staff can follow along with the guide that Tango provides. If I accidentally click something, it can be easily deleted from the transcript of what is being automatically created. I absolutely love that Tango creates a PDF version of the tutorial and then provides a link for Tango to guide users through step by step! What!! I have shared this with every person I've come into contact with. It has literally saved me SO MUCH TIME when I have people emailing me asking how to do something. All I have to do is send them the PDF that I downloaded (with the "guide me" link) and their problems are solved! It was literally SO easy to implement. Now, my entire time is making them, so the ease of integrating has been seamless, and I use it all of the time!!

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I don't love, love that the PDF printed off only 1 or 2 steps per page, so I do feel like I'm wasting paper a bit when I print those off for people - but they shouldn't even be using the PDF version because the "guide me" feature is AMAZING!

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango makes the screenshots for me so that I don't have to. Then it saves me time so that I don't have to guide my people through how to do something.

 ### 38. Best Chrome Extension Available for Creating Product Guides and Workflows Quickly and Efficiently

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I love the automatic capture and autogenerated titles features. I often have to edit the titles for each step slightly to fit my needs but Tango does a great job of getting the jist! The PDF guides that you get as an end product are simple to understand and beautifully laid out.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I would like to be able to edit the image captures a bit more or maybe even be able to take custom captures!

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes the tedious process of creating user guides and SOPs so much quicker and cleaner! No more wordy documents that lack visuals!

 ### 39. Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The best thing about Tango is its ability to track your activity when creating workflows. As someone who is making them more often, this feature makes it more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I can’t say I dislike anything about Tango. I have only had positive experiences thus far.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango helps teach larger groups how to do something in a detailed, well explained manner. Through the use of pictures and words, I am able to better show my peers how to use our EHR system.

 ### 40. I enjoy how easy Tango is to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango is easy to use and to share with others.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I wish it were lower in price or the unlimited account could be free to educators, and/or have more captures with the free account.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango helps to visualize the instructions that I give people for finding resources in the library's databases.

 ### 41. Great tool for self-guide tutorials

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vesa H. | People Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I can do most of the tutorials I need for free!!! You just screen record yourself doing it and it automatically creates the steps for you which then you can edit/remove/add any of them based on your needs, which is fantastic!

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Not really anything to dislike, it's a free tool that does a great job on creating tutorials.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Tango I had to screenshot steps and do all the tutorials manually which was very time consuming. Now, I can do this super easy while also being able to have an intuitive tool that does a lot more than screenshot steps.

 ### 42. Love this platform!

It's SO EASY. I love that the capture and editing process is so native and smooth. Sharing is easy and adoption is really consistent.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

There aren't any! It's a fantastic product and I literally cannot say enough good things about it.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I often have a need to explain a process that would be cumbersome to type out but Tango makes it a breeze. It speeds things up for me and for people on my team who benefit from the library of Tangos they have access to.

 ### 45. Tango saves time and makes training much smoother

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria H. | CRM Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango has been incredibly helpful for me when I am running training sessions for clients. When I need to have them complete steps ahead of training, like logging in for the first time or connecting their email, or after to document an established process, Tango saves me a ton of time and energy when I create those guides. I can create customized guides, or use general ones I've made before, which is fantastic. I use Tango a few times a month, but it saves me probably a few hours at a time.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Not much, I really, really like Tango. At most perhaps the search function in the extension could be a bit easier to use.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Set-up guides for my clients, which I would otherwise have to either get on a video call, or take meticulous screenshots and write-out instructions for.

 ### 46. Incredible Tool!

Creating SOPs. Makes my life SO much easier!

 ### 47. Quick and easy step-by-step maker

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bradley E. | Support Specalist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The gorgeous UI, the side-panel preview. How quick and easy it is to create a step-by-step guide.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I wish it was possible to edit screenshots with the free plan.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to create quick and easy step by step guides that I can send to my customers instead of having to jump on video calls.

 ### 48. By far the best tool to help clients and friends on the step by step

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josefina P. | Hubspot Admin Expert, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It was so easy to explain and share the step by steps to my clients, and the best thing I can do it once and then share the link to everyone. It´s easy to use, easy to implement. I use it almost every week.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Nothing to say, the tool is very good friendly.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

trying to explain a non tech savvy user things, they can follow the steps and that´s it. and keep the Tango as long as they want to revisit

 ### 49. Tango is Amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andjela S. | Senior Global Contact Center Training Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango is incredibly easy to use and captures your work with remarkable speed. It saves a lot of time by recording software functions in just seconds

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

There is nothing I dislike. I am just waiting for some new features to become available in the future.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of teaching live or recording multiple videos and spending hours of my day, Tango does the work for me. For example, if I want to demonstrate the booking process or system functions, I can capture all the steps and functions in just a few minutes. Tango then saves everything, and I can easily adjust, highlight important parts, and add explanations and other details.

 ### 50. Game changer for quick enablement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dennis W. | Senior Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Simple extension makes it easy to show interns, non-technical roles, and others more in-the-weed processes such as CRM dashboards, campaign creation, and much more

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Sometimes it overdetails as it covers every single movement even it was a mistaken movement, but can still go back and edit before publishing live

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick enablement of processes that I've done for years and never bothered to fully document. This covers all that in a simple play by play
