## Tango Reviews
 ### 1. The best thing that has come to process documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It is so easy to use and the plugin makes it universally accessible for platforms.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Sharing can sometimes be challenging if the end user is unfamiliar with Tango.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking onboarding and reducing the amount of time it takes for adoption / learning of platforms and processes.

 ### 2. Great Improvement for our Team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa B. | Implementation Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango has greatly improved the way we are able to walk our customers through testing and training within our product. We're newer users of Tango, but I only see us expanding on the ways we can use it moving forward!

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

There are not necessarily downsides, but things I would like to see improved upon:

1. Ability to rearrange sections in groups rather than individually. This gets tediuous quickly
2. Links to the webpages that are being captured when the Tango is duplicated (these links remain the same, and I believe it would be helpful for them to be removed upon duplication).

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango eliminates a lot of redundancies in our training and testing phases. I love that it is a live document that can be changed in real-time while our customers are learning more aobut our product.

 ### 3. Easy to use and saves me time!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katelyn W. | Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I like that tango takes screenshots of each step and it allows me to create SOPs very quickly. Everyone I have shared a tango with finds it very easy to follow along!

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

For me sometimes when recording a tango I make the wrong click and it turns it into a step however it is very easy for me to erase and go back!

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping create better SOPs that my team is able to follow along. It saves me a lot of time!

 ### 4. Scaffolded Assistance from a Distance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle R. | Family Access Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The guide me feature is the best aspect of Tango! Having the program guide the user through each step helps eliminate any confusion from the intended user.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

That PDF downloads are now a premium version. That was so helpful for non-profits like ours.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to give a visual set of instructions to adults who may not feel comfortable with digital processes.

 ### 5. Tango is a well-designed, smooth instruction tool that helps teams follow guidelines and SOPs.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Operations Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I like how easy it is to create a tutorial. Someone can make a guide about anything and the graphics sure make it appealing.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Sometimes Tango doesn't recognize all subject fields on the screen.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have so many SOPs at our company, but there hasn't been a consistent way to follow them yet. With Tango, everyone is on the same page and can follow these guidelines with simplicity and ease.

 ### 6. Overall very pleasant experience, a good time saver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaofan W. | Revenue Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Easy to use, saved me a lot of time documenting processes/training materials. Already powerful enough with free version.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Nothing to complain here, tbh, it would be great to have more "tangos" included in the package.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps quickly create step-by-step training materials, with clear, visual guides with screenshots and instructions, making it easy to document processes for onboarding and training.

 ### 7. Best free tool I've ever used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giulio G. | Head of account management team, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It helps you a lot to create detailed guidelines for colleagues and friends. It boosts the productivity and reduce time for making boring stuff and turn them into nearly fun activities. It's very user friendly, with just two clicks it's accessible from the Chrome extensions (so no need to setup or difficult implementations). I use it often to create documents for my colleagues. It's fully integrated with chrome.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

TBH I found nothing that could be immproved.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduces the time for making guidelines and make the work easier and funnier.

 ### 8. Tango lives up to its promise of enabling change within businesses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean B. | Purchasing and Logistics Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The desktop capture app makes recording workflows super easy. It basically works in the background while you perform the task and the process document writes itself.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

It picks up every mouse move and click. I can see in the near-future it will get smarter at this and cut out some of the redundant clicks and keystrokes that people just coincidentally perform and record.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralising and standardising work instructions in a cloud environment with good user access controls etc as well as analytics. Leads to some significant time savings too!

 ### 9. Tango is the tool I needed but could never find.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack H. | City Project Management Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It was extremely user friendly and took a task that would have taken a full days work down to an hour.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

The only downsides I ran into were that I couldn't share a folder with the free subscription and that I couldn't combine all of them into one document.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem it solved was the time it takes to teach someone a task. This is beneficial in the fact that I can create "How To" documents and instead of training everyone I can hand out these documents (which tango makes very easy to understand and read) and have a more efficient workflow in the office. This tool takes away the 30 minutes of explaining and allows everyone the ability to quickly refrence the document for any issues they are running into.

 ### 10. Good tool for quick screen shots

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennalee B. | Sr. HRIS Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I did like the screen shot recording, making it easier to capture quickly as you go through steps in a functional process. The editing options, such as redaction or blurring is a plus for sensitive data that may appear on screen but do not want to widely share.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I would like the steps the AI documents to be a little more detailed, their competitors have this. In addition the screen shots do not go as wide as I's like to capture full screen without just zooming in on a specific area of the screen. Lastly, the export option is tedious whn trying to get it to into MS Word, another feature their competitor I switched to has. All else, this serves its purpose as a tool, reducing screen capture times.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool assists when I am writing user guides for new processes and applications.

 ### 11. AMAZING PRODUCT

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlene C. | Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

"Tango is the most intuitive, time-saving program I’ve ever used. My staff loves it, and it has saved me countless hours of running around the office explaining the same things over and over. It’s truly a game-changer!"

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

NOTHING! I LOVE TANGO it's completely a game changer

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to share with my team and clients with ease

 ### 12. If you're serious about data governance, you need Tango.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris M. | Senior Manager, Marketing Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It's dead-simple to create and share Tangos. Since Tangos are intended to be initiated by the user wherever they are, integrating Tango into the users' flow of work is seamless. With adoption metrics available to track slow adoptors in need of 1:1 training or instructions that can be more clear, I have everything I need to ensure processes are being followed and data is reliable. Without a process adoption software like Tanog, we're left with reactive tracking of bad data and hoping someone asks for help before they muck it up. With Tango, we can be proactive about ensuring marketing, sales, and client data is dependable and available. Tango offers SSO, are SOC II certified, and make blurring sensitive data available when required. These security benefits are a huge asset and I think the features available and recently rolled out indicate how closely they listen to customer feedback.

If you aren't ready to pull the trigger or don't have buy-in, the free-account is worth your time. They offer a ton of value for free, further demonstrating their commitment to their users. Highly recommended.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I found it difficult to gain executive sponsorship, the website is ambiguous and required multiple videos to understand what the product is. Then it took testing the creation and guidance process to really grasp the full experience. It might just be one of those things that you have to see to get, but this makes sponsorship difficult when they won't sit to watch a video or a demo.

Tango offers a massive value (when you understand it), but for small shops wanting all the features, it's pricey and will be a hard sell, especially since the recent price model change. Be persistent.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling our CRM editing users (along with other platforms) with process guidance and our admins with adoption metrics. As we continue launching process changes to keep up with our growth goals, we need something to enable our team streamlined adoption and accurate execution every time.

 ### 13. First time user can’t wait to use this again.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh G. | Technology Implementation Mentor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

As a first time user I was a bit skeptical about using the program. In 30 minutes I had a few failed attempts until I finally figured it out. All this was user error. Very easy to use once you get over the learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

The most difficult part and thing I still have not figured out is how to have a team so that 3-4 of us can share work product. I work with a small team of teachers who train other teachers about the technology in our school district. We were unable to share our seperate tangos in the team space.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are rolling out a new lesson plan format through our school database platform. We used tango to create step by step instructional tutorial for our staff to create their lessson plans.

 ### 14. Great for providing clear instructions quickly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I am the Senior Director of Volunteer Programs at a large social service agency, and Tango has been so helpful as we're transitioning to a volunteer management platform. I like that it helps me provide clear, step-by-step instructions on how to interact with the platform for both staff and volunteers.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Sometimes the formatting gets wonky (particularly in terms of how far out I can/can't zoom in/out). Sometimes that changes when I export.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is creating significantly more efficiency in my ability to develop instructional/training materials, so that frees up my capacity to do other things.

 ### 15. A gamechanger

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Easy to use, intuitive, clean interface, option to use for free.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

The auto zoom-in on screenshots is usually a bit wonky the first go-round.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I often have to create training materials, and Tango allows me to do this in a fast and effective way that also looks good. It is a good option for training users on several of the platforms that we use.

 ### 16. Tango is a Great Teaching Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick N. | Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango is exceptional at showing our small team detailed ways to perform tasks. Our goal over the coming months is to create hundred of Tangos to create reference materials for future staff members as well as having a detailed FAQ for current staff.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

My least favorite thing about Tango is that it tanks my browser. There are times my web browser becomes crippling slow while trying to create a Tango. Particularly if I'm switching tabs frequently.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango has made it easier for me to communicate with our employees and train them.

 ### 17. Great platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Team are super friendly and was so easy to get onboarded and set up with the platform. It was a super smooth transition from our initial intro call to being onboarded onto the platform.
Had a couple of queries during our initial set up and our account manager has been super quick at responding and helping.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Nothing so far, integration is not fully complete so might have something to add later!

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed guides that were accessible at all times and that the team could work on independently, and the guide me function allows this to happen and reduces the time spent on asking myself questions

 ### 18. Best in the marketing for documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Asif K. | CEO and CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Easy to make documentation of complex - multi step browser tasks

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

There should be an option to change the steps numbering, e.g. if there are multiple headings in a document - then the numbers are expected to start from 1 after each heading but, we can't change the step numbers as of my knowledge

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documentation

 ### 19. The simplest training tool you'll find

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle D. | President & Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango has completely changed how we develop process documentation! What used to be a long and manual process of screenshots, annotating, and formatting (in addition to actually doing the task) has become as simple as just do the task and Tango follows along. It was very easy to get set up, the team loves the interface, having all of our training in one place, and they're very easy to use/follow.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

My one thing is that not every single click needs to be captured.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Process documentation was such a time consuming process that it simply never got done with our volume of work. Being able to do the task and have it documented with extremeley little extra work for touch ups has been incredible.

 ### 20. Hands down the best tool for creating, managing and communicating process workflow documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike W. | Technical Enablement Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I use Tango whenever possible to document software workflows and process workflow. Many of my client's are new to the software platform I work in and while they may know their own workflow, using a new tool can be a difficult change for many end users who are used to doing things a certain way. When I use Tango and I am able to document a workflow along with the ability to generate a guide to drive end users through a workflow, this is a game changer with regard to how quickly I can get feedback from the client, and the quality of the feedback is often much better. Additionally, this helps to encourage timely feedback compared to traditional documentation methods.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Really the only thing that comes to mind is that the 'guide me' feature requires a browser plugin to work (not sure how it would work otherwise) and some of my clients are not able to take advantage. Additionally, there is not a great way of "linking" documents (to my knowledge) so that multiple Tango's could be used as a portion of a larger workflow, or individually.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango makes thorough documentation easy to produce, easy to update and significantly easier to get my clients to test. While documentation is incredibly important, it can often be skipped or done on a minimal basis simply because it's tedious, time consuming and almost always a low priority. Tango allows me to do less hand-holding to get a client into a new app or feature and actually test compared to traditional methods where I have to take a client at their word that they actually followed my testing script.

 ### 21. Easy to use way to document.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Calondra T. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango is intuitive. It didn't require a lot of training to get started or to learn how to use the system. I like that I can easily pause recording or go back and delete mistakes.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I use the complimentary version so I don't get to experience all the features. It would ve great to offer a trial of another version to sed if that would be beneficial. For example I work across programs on the web and desktop apps, so I don't know if I upgrade I would be able tocapute that info.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy web-based documentation. It is much faster process that takes much less time.

 ### 22. Easy to use and huge time saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer G. | Account Support Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I love that I have good amount of control over what titles or buttons I clicked on that will be shown on the guide to convey the steps I'm trying to demonstrate properly. The "guide me" option is fantastic because it shows you step by step where to click so it's much easier to follow even if you're not tech-savvy. My clients and colleagues love it and helps reduce impromptu meetings.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I think the black pop-ups should be bigger and a different color so it's easier to see when you are using the "guide me" option. Overall, this is a fantastic product and look forward to seeing it evolve!

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To show the exact steps on how to use a particular tool for my company's platform. It also helps me explain how to do certain things internally with my teammates which helps reduce meetings, which helps reduce time spent on training/teaching where I could be working on projects or assisting a client.

 ### 23. ERP End User Self-Serve Guides

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The guide me feature is very helpful for users who are new to the ERP System. In our case, users are unfamiliar with navigating the UI and completing tasks in Workday, and Tango has been very helpful for that. I also see great potential in the nuggets feature.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I think if related Tangos can be grouped together and put in a folder structure, it would make finding the relevant Tango easier for users. The nuggets feature unfortunately doesn't work for Workday because all users start from the homepage which is a static URL.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

End user adoption and addressing common questions from our employees and analysts in Workday.

 ### 24. Tango is a huge time saver!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carina H. | Instructional Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

As an instructional coach, my job requires creating a lot of tutorials, how-tos and overall just general step-by-step guides. Before discovering Tango, I would spend so much time taking screenshots, adding descriptions, then sharing out with ourteam. Now that I have discovered Tango, all of those steps have been simplified. Tango does all of that for me. Plus, I can add additional details and descriptions to any step. It is so easy to use and easy to share. Plus, once I share the link, it tracks the number of views, so I am able to see if my team has utilized the step-by-step guide. I have a Chrome extension on my browser, all I do is click and start. I use this so frequently that I cannot even express the amount of time I have gained back in my day.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Although Tango tells me how many unique views my document has had, I wish it would tell me who has viewed it. Perhaps that is a premium feature?

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been a huge time saver! I no longer have to spend time creating how-to guides. Tango does ot for me!

 ### 25. Excellent app

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven J. | Profesional independiente, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I loved how intuitive the platform is and how easy it is to integrate it with other apps, meaning putting the manuals in other apps.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

There is no specific thing that I do not like, I think you just have to improve or add functions, for example, record screen recording videos or it would also be good to create evaluations or maybe to know if people are learning in the step by step that you are showing us.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using it as the basis for saving all my information to implement complex systems such as Zoho One, which has many applications, and we need to document the implementation of these systems.

 ### 26. Great! Amazing! Timesaver!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carbansha P. | Sr. Equity and Compensation Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango is a huge timesaver! It captures your actions in a very concise action during your natural workflow. Amazing technology that's easy to implement and integrate into your daily workflow.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I have not been able to figure out how to use Tango on non webpage products to capture something like Microsoft Excel installed on my desktop.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango creates amazing efficiency in creating SOPs. This is a tremendous timesaver and helps users effectively document processes for training.

 ### 27. A tool optimal for creating procedure manuals

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 拓実 . | Development of digital talent. For example, PowerApps and PowerBI, Python, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Just by operating the screen, the steps are recorded, making it much easier to create educational materials for in-house use. It's also helpful that the captures can be zoomed in and out.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

There are times when I want to insert images for additional explanations. It would be helpful if I could insert another image within the same step, just like a 'callout.'

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Until now, we used PowerPoint and similar tools to capture screenshots and add explanations. However, with Tango, that workload has been reduced to less than half. Although the degree of freedom in expression has decreased to some extent, conversely, it means that all materials are unified in the expressions that can be made on Tango. This has reduced the time spent worrying about how to express things and has also allowed us to maintain a consistent quality in our materials.

 ### 28. Quick and Easy How To... guides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ernie K. | Sr. Programmer Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Simple to use, doesn't get in the way while recording, easy to edit afterwards.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

You have to remember to start the capture before you start a sequence.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are rolling out some new platforms, and users need to know how to perform specific tasks. Tango makes is simple to show them.

 ### 29. Best SOP system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor L. | Office Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango makes it super easy to put together a SOP for a whole team to understand! It was easy to learn how to use and we use it often!

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I do wish Tango could be used outside of a web brower.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use to have SOPs put in a word doc that looked awful. Now there are links and visual aids.

 ### 30. Tango Is easy and efficient

**What do you like best about Tango?**

What I really like the guided Tangos!!!!

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I don't like that Tango doesn't have the "Guide Me" feature on desktop.

 ### 31. Unmatched in Quality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorena C. | Application Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Our company began its journey with Tango, and we've had an amazing experience with the software's implementation and test run. We've received fantastic feedback from our users, who rely on it daily. The ease of use and functionality have been a huge hit, and we love creating new Tangos to share across our firm. It's been a great addition to our workflow, and we're excited to continue using it!

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

At this time, no other software has come close to Tango in our eyes.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango is solving problems related to organizing and streamlining user training for the various software used within our company

 ### 32. Quick & Simple Workflow Builder

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron M. | Data Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

You can get started in a matter of a few seconds! I like how easy and intuitive the platform is. I build a lot of workflows so the less hassle, the better.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

No downsides as of yet, my experiences has been quite positive.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm in a role where a lot of system processes need to be documented for users. This helps to increase the speed at which new employees can onboard to a new CRM or other system. Tango allows me to go through my usual process and auto-document in the background. It saves me a lot of time and enables easy to follow workflows.

 ### 33. The best way to create onboarding and SOP documents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge V. | Digital Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Simple, intuitive to use and the output is an easy to follow guide that is both appealing and somehow is able to show the information that you need.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

The pause/unpause nature of it can be a bit tedious since when you are creating an onboarding document you are constantly moving back and forth. But this is to be expected.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accelerating the speed in which we can create SOPs means that we can have more SOPs that are more current and easier to follow for the person learning.

 ### 34. Smart, saves you time.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luís Felipe A. | Digital Marketing Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango is a great help in creating tutorials and mapping out each step of a process. It’s extremely practical and saves a lot of time, streamlining tasks and making complex workflows easy to manage.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I’d love to see more options for internal organization within the app, especially when it comes to sharing with the team. Enhanced sharing features and organizational tools would make collaboration smoother and more efficient.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango is helping me address the need to create SOPs and other tutorials, both for our internal team and for clients. It’s a valuable tool for standardizing processes and making information easily accessible to everyone involved.

 ### 35. Eased my whole process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharon Z. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

For all of those times that I create an automation, but forget to document those steps, for all of those times that I am learning a new-to-me software, but forget everything I did to set it up, Tango has made it so much easier to take notes without even having to write anything down. So easy! And I can edit my workflow later if I click on anything irrlelvant.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Sometimes I forget to edit as I go and once I forgot and reached 100 steps. At that point Tango forces you to create a new recording, but now that I know, I will adjust my practices.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I frequently need to take on new software or other new processes. I like to get lost in the process of learning, and Tango let's me do that while taking notes on my behalf.

 ### 36. Where have you been all my life?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I've been creating user guides since the 1990's. Tango is a HUGE timesaver. I just created my tenth Tango and some of my favourite features include: instant screen captures, the ability to add extra steps within the Tango after completion, a starting point to explain each step in further detail. Tango is easy to use and the tutorials and email support are especially helpful. it will be helpful to create smaller Tangos to explain concepts to clients.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Some of my Tangos have many steps and it's difficult to find a specific step among the many. Some sort of visual map to show an overview or maybe the ability to collapse the steps within a certain heading would help.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The creation of user guides is time consuming. Tango allows me to reduce the amount of time I spend in creation. Additionally the consistent look of the screen captures/videos add a level of professionalism to my user guides.

 ### 37. Useful tool to easily create SOPs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beth C. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I love that Tango easily creates visual SOPs. This would have been so helpful for me as a visual learner during the onboarding process. I'm currently recreating all our SOPs in Tango, and am looking forward to the ease of training in the future.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

When I first started using Tango, I had a very old computer, and it would get very slow while running Tango. Now that my computer is updated, I have no problems.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to create SOPs, and Tango is allowing us to do that easily and in time.

 ### 38. Simple to use and extremely helpful for guides.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It's extremely easy to understand how to create tangos. Very user-friendly. The guides it creates are good to follow along.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Some of the more advanced features aren't as obvious, so it takes a few practice tries to know where these features are located.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides reference materials for staff who are more visual learners. It provides support for people who need more time to sit with the materials.

 ### 39. Brilliant platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It's super easy to use and always very accessible with the chrome addin.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Can't change it to a video but other than that, nothing.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me explain things easily to the rest of the team.

 ### 40. Great for quick interactive guides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris H. | VP Strategic Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango makes it super easy to create step-by-step guides just by performing tasks you want to document, capturing screenshots and notes automatically as you go. It’s perfect for onboarding new team members or helping others follow complex workflows without missing steps. The guides are clear, with images and annotations, so anyone can jump in and follow along without much prior knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

While Tango does make things simpler, it’s a bit limited if you need to do more than straightforward step-by-step guides. You can’t customize the steps too much beyond what it captures automatically, so if you want to add in extra tips or rearrange the order, it can feel a little rigid. It’s great for basic processes, but it’s not quite there if you need detailed, flexible tutorials.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Super fast way to send step by step instructions

 ### 41. Does a great job at simplifying the capturing and recording of a process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael K. | Web designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It's easy to use. The best part is that it captures, with screenshots, each step of a process. Then it gives you an editable final product that's easy to share, and that output looks good. The share via URL is especially helpful for me, as it reports back when someone has viewed it.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Sometimes it doesn't capture quite as much of the screen as I'd like.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I often have to provide "how-to" guides, and used to do that with individual screenshots, copied and pasted into a Word doc, then shared as a PDF. This is a fabulous solution because eliminates the need for lots of manually generated individual screenshots. It captures the entire process, creates a doc, let's me make edits, and includes the ability to share, all without leaving Tango. Huge time saver.

 ### 42. Fantastic learning material for the team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ozark C. | Admin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It creates a training material for team members

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Nothing, I love it. Maybe add few more free processes.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us to train our members well and saves time in having calls as they can learn on their end

 ### 43. Tango has simply helped us train our staff while also creating and upkeep procedures

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The simplicity of creating a "Tango" is one of major points, when someone new joins the company they are very quickly able to catch up to the rest of us using tha Tangos we have created in order to document our day to day procedures. Additionally the ease just having it as a Chrome Plugin and recording starts in mere seconds, removes a major barrier in a very technologically illetarate nation.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Some of the headers that are provided when creating a Tango can be messy to decifer, but that is not a big issue as we are able to edit them freely.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently trying to digitalize one of the most out of date services in Greece, renting a car. Training stuff to use our new tools and CRM, in order to achive that became very easy after adopting Tango.

 ### 44. Tango for SOPs is game changing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim P. | Agency Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The effort to create an SOP goes from 20 minutes to 2. It is easy to follow along and I like how you can get step by step instructions ON the actual website you are using. After just one use, I find it easy to create and adjust the documents. Well worth the money.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I wish the transition between web browser and desktop version was a little bit more seamless. Having to stop the process and begin again is a bit of a hassle.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Educating employees on the standard process and procedure for various projects has become much more efficient.

 ### 45. I make how to guides for teachers and students

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsay N. | Instructional Technology, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It captures step by step directions. It is easy to use.

Nothing. I have had no issues with Tango

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making how to guides for teachers and students

 ### 46. Helpful SOP Documenter

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It has been great to use it help document our processes. The screenshots alone have been a huge timesaver, and has made updating our SOPs a lot quicker.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I only have used the free version so far, so I wish there were more captures available to truly test the tool

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making our SOP documentation process more efficient. It has helped us save a lot of time,

 ### 47. Perfect documentation tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David C. | Senior IT Procurement Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I am using the free version now and it is very easy to set up and use. I've been doing documentation in my previous company and the actual one and I didn't have Tango before, I regret it. It would have made everything very simple. I would like to use the paid version to capture apps that are not web based, and be able to edit teh PDFs too. I even shared the application with several colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Right now, maybe a free trial of the paid version, limited maybe to 10 documents or 5 would be nice. There is nothing actually that I dislike, I'd like to use more features though.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us a lot streamline the documentation creation. We are onbiarding a lot of new people and we are in need of documenting a lot of our processes, and Tango is helping us a lot because 90% of our tools are web based.

 ### 48. Can save tons of time

**Reviewed by:** Michael N. | Consultant and trainer in AI, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Tango?**

it is extremely easy to be handled and the results are very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I am just missing the info, that you can change the size of the captured screen , I had to figure it out

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i can easyíly show how things are done in my AI-trainings, so that the trainees can repeat it at home very easily

 ### 49. Tango is an Ops Mngr NECESSITY

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina C. | Contractor Workforce Aquisition Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

Tango is incredibly easy to use to both create the guide, as well as send for my employees to use and follow. Accurately captures information, easy to edit if needed, and easy to share with my employees.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I really don't have any complaints, Tango does a great job.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have a team of new employees that need training, but did not have existing training guides. Tango helps my employees, especially those who are visual learners and/or need multiple resources and exposure to learn new processes.

 ### 50. Quick & effective guide
