## About SweepMe!
SweepMe! is a modular test and measurement software that allows users to quickly combine measurement instruments and technical equipment from different vendors by plug&play. The modular nature of the SweepMe! allows to easily share contents between all users of the software. For example, all SweepMe! instrument drivers are made available free and open-source to everyone. Typical applications are wafer level testing in combinations with electrical chacterization equipment, electro-optical experiments in silicon photonics, control of process chambers as used for thin film vacuum deposition, characterization of solar cells, LEDs, sensors, batteries and many more. **What do you like best about SweepMe!?**

The software offers quick access to results, the handling is super easy and also complex problems can be resolved easily. The setup is easy and intuitive, and no programming skills are required.

**What do you dislike about SweepMe!?**

There could be more instruments integrated, but since it is a young solution more things will follow.

**What problems is SweepMe! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When setting up experiments in the lab, the instruments are easily combined, but when you combine instruments from different vendors, which usually includes writing a dedicated software for the setup, a lot of time and with it money is lost. 
SweepMe! intuitively combines different instruments and easily allows you to setup measurement routines in the sequencer. It gives you access to all important features of the included and open source instrument drivers and even access to write your own or change the existing ones. All in all a very nice solution for automation tasks in the lab.
