**What do you like best about Innoslate?**

The user interface is straightforward. Documentation and training materials are good. Innoslate has allowed a model-based transition in some of our programs, but it has not been a complete uptake in the business.

**What do you dislike about Innoslate?**

It is not the tool of choice with current DoW customers. An interface with MBEE does not exist. It keeps all my data in the tool making it difficult to get on a path toward DE and convergence across the business.

**What problems is Innoslate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the need for MBSE artifacts and methodology with customers and that is a benefit. It is the current MBSE tool available to my staff.

I really appreciate the fact that it is a web based, modern, sleek, and fast MBSE tool that I can use in our Linux-focused company

**What do you like best about Innoslate?**

I like that Innoslate is somewhat easy to set up, and the interface is not cluttered. It's great as a collaborative tool, which is valuable for my students who work from different places and need a tool that allows for remote collaboration and is intuitive. Plus, everything being synced up in the cloud is definitely an asset. Also, the fact that it's free and offers educational licenses without costing anything for my students and program is a significant benefit.

**What do you dislike about Innoslate?**

Some of the knowledge base materials were not up to date, which I was using as guides for implementing exercises and projects in my course. Some of them referred to interface elements of previous versions, so the company needs to update their guides and knowledge base. It would also be beneficial to provide more up-to-date guides, practice problems, and case studies that people can implement to get more familiar with the tool.

I use Innoslate to teach a requirements engineering course, allowing students to collaborate remotely with a cloud interface, making the systems engineering process more intuitive and synchronized.

Innoalate helps us in requirement management, project documentation, systems engineering and this happens under one platform.
The program has solid traceability features, and this gives us the exact track records of specific projects and relationships.
I value the powerful collaboration part that Innoslate brings and this ensures information is shared successfully.

Innoslate has versatile features and functions, but many subscribers fails to comprehend them on time.
We need proper guidelines on how to work around with Innoslate, and this would improve the proficiency of the app.

**What do you like best about Innoslate?**

I use Innoslate to teach model-based systems engineering. Because it’s a cloud-based software application, students on either a PC or a Mac can start using it right away without needing to install anything on their computers. This is especially valuable for Mac users, who often have to rely on virtualization to run other MBSE software.

The user interface is clean and intuitive, which makes it easy for students to get oriented and begin working quickly.

**What do you dislike about Innoslate?**

Some of the SysML diagramming may not be fully compliant with the standards, and this is especially true for the sequence diagram. As a workaround, I use the LML-compliant action diagram to capture the subtleties that would normally be represented in a fully SysML-compliant sequence diagram.

**What problems is Innoslate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my situation, the business case is rapid software deployment so that people who haven’t used it before can start learning MBSE right away, instead of spending time hassling with the tool.

I like the simplicity of Innoslate, along with its tools and GUI. The software makes system modeling easier and I find its traceability feature valuable. Also, the initial setup was easy, which was a relief.

I like having a central location where the entire test team can collaborate and help each other out with data entry. I find it easy to generate reports, and I appreciate the database that keeps all information in one location. The training and demonstrations have been great for getting us up-to-speed in using the application.

Comparing results across separate vendors that were recorded as separate files. Could use some help with analysis piece.

**What do you like best about Innoslate?**

The ability to see all objects in a view is very helpful to decrease the risk of creating duplicate elements. Being able to tie objects to diagram views and then understandable PM views is also great. My favorite feature is the AI generated test cases and risks from requirements.

The xml files do not always play nicely with other tools (however, this is sometimes on the other tool)

Ease of access and smooth user interface. The learning curve to get running on Innoslate is not as steep as the competition

There is not much we don't like so it is difficult to provide an answer on this question.

We use Innoslate for requirements management on government programs. We have been using it for over eight years, and the ability to share information directly with the customer from within the tool has been very beneficial. In addition, the ability to generate DoDAF views is very powerful and a real time-saver.

The software helps our team to work together and share their data like images, photos, videos, etc., with each other in real-time situations. Also, it helps us in trying out demo simulations for testing them and understanding their flaws, so that there is no wastage of resources after they are completely made.

The platform is completely based on system engineering, so it will need people with a strong level of IQ and long rigorous training before the IT team of any organization can work on it. What I like best about Innoslate is its all in one approach to systems engineering. The most helpful feature is the visual modeling and requirements management, which makes it easy to track complex projects from concept to completion. **What do you like best about Innoslate?**

Even a newbie in Model-Based Systems Engineering can operate Innoslate quite easily. My ‘team’ and I can collaborate effectively use the web-based platform no matter where we are or what devices we use, which is the greatest feature. Simulation, version control, and full reporting are features that can help Lean Modeling Language based modeling approach to continue supporting yet paper process operations simplify a move. We can now enjoy much clear and of high quality documentation since system models and functional diagrams could be rapidly developed.

**What do you dislike about Innoslate?**

The simulation part of the tool is really cool, but maybe just too many features and no obvious way around it can be a little intimidating. Also, cross-platform processes might be even better if more tightly integrated with tools such as MATLAB. Also noted some minor interface inconsistencies, but usually, the update’s rid of it.

**What problems is Innoslate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Innoslate helped me onboard newly hired engineers quickly with the model-based approach it allowed my team to take with very little learning curve. Like centralizing requirement elicitation, risk assessment, and system modeling activities, it makes the systems engineering processes simpler. It has made working in teams with foreign students an absolute necessity for me in the classroom as well as on real-world projects. It enhances my productivity since I can easily trace and see the progress of the project from its beginning to end.

I like how user friendly is innoslate and how super organized, easy to manage. It has all the great resources, videos, webinars to help you navigate through the software for all of your needs. I personally loved to use Innoslate in my courses in higher education and my students also loved it. They never had any difficulty understanding things, you can always find answers to your questions. They loved every feature of it and even used in other courses while they were doing their projects even though instructor was not using it. It is an excellent tool. Thank you!

Test cases can be written in various formats like BDD, exploratory testing, and step by step with expected outcomes. You can easily arrange test cases by features or test using filters. Test runs help execute test cases. Test reports provide clear information on the testing process status and can be customized. You can sync issues, requirements, and tests with Jira.

To make test cases easier to read, I want Innsolate to increase the size of the test instance name column when running test sets. Also, completed test cases are unexpectedly shown during execution. Innoslate has a well organized user interface that is not complicated and it is easy to navigate through it. It makes possible for our teams to work together and collaborate throughout the entire lifecycle of building our water systems. Innoslate allows us to manage and plan our work better by breaking it down into smaller tasks that are easy to manage. It also offers Gantt charts which we use to schedule time for the tasks and to ensure we complete the entire engineering work of the water systems within the dedicated time. It is possible to simulate the water system designs beforehand and this help ensure we have a functioning design models before we go ahead to engineer it. It was easy to integrate it with GitHub. There are alot of user support materials available like tours and sample projects which makes it easy to get started with Innoslate.

**What do you like best about Innoslate?**

We used Innoslate 4.5 for about 3 months -- in that time I found the requirements management capabilities, traceability and test management tools the most meaningful from the start. As we say in the discipline -- build the right system -- and that starts with requirements and ideas. Tools for generating documentation and deliverables were also huge time savers. From there the diagramming modalities were easy to use, allowing a novice/intermediate SysML user to draft simple ideas to get points across. Beyond the tool suite is the training material, video library, and documentation -- which is among some of the most intuitive and effective material I've seen in the DE/SE industry.

**What do you dislike about Innoslate?**

The main detractor for our situation was the "sysml" import capability from other tools -- we realize that this class of tool is intended most for forward engineering and import of large system diagram sets is an unlikely means of working. There was significant information loss in the import between nodes, links, labels, and various other data. So much for SysML standard and XMI as an interchange format ... it's possible these issues are still very interpretative that it's not the fault of either tool, but the lack of fidelity in the interchange format. If you don't spend much time and energy importing XMI material into Innoslate, this is not an issue.

**What problems is Innoslate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Process assessment, from an enterprise strategy perspective -- looking at how many engineering teams interact and report upward.
