SystemLink software can improve operational efficiency and productivity by providing web-based software for managing connected systems, software configurations, test results and measurement data. SystemLink is designed for tight interoperability with NI products such as LabVIEW, TestStand, and hardware, and it includes tools for incorporating a wide range of third-party software and hardware technologies. ## SystemLink Reviews ### 1. This allows the realization of custom requirements like monitoring test benches running your own code. The "Tag" feature, which allows uploading data from all kinds of software can be easily used to monitor and document events on different test benches and then compare them afterwards. I also like the alarm system, which can be used to notify users if their equipment is not behaving according to specification. **What do you dislike about SystemLink?** For some advanced features documentation is currently still missing, however can be obtained by contacting NI. This is improving with each release. Third Party hardware support is also still being improved and requires significantly more work from the user. **Recommendations to others considering SystemLink:** When considering Systemlink it is important to note that most features work beste with NI hardware. When using a high percentage of third party hardware (as main test bench control solutions) a significant higher integration workload should be expected. However, most things can be realized using the great http API provided by NI. **What problems is SystemLink solving and how is that benefiting you?** Systemlink can be utilized to manage test benches by simplifying deployment to NI hardware products. I particularly like the extendibility of the server with custom plugins to evaluate performance of test benches running custom code. E.g. one can use a test bench to report metrics using "tags" which can then be displayed and evaluated using onboard tools or custom plugins (either built using the NI web module or a third party framework like ReactJS). ### 2. I enjoyed the ease of use and multifunctionality. **What do you dislike about SystemLink?** Sometimes I wished that some features had a deeper documentation guide, nevertheless I am overall really satisfied by the services. **Recommendations to others considering SystemLink:** I mean what else can I say, I have mentioned all the great benefits of SystemLink, GO AHEAD!! **What problems is SystemLink solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently, I am trying to automate the various administrative services at our organization. Especially the web interface for set-up and display of measurement results. **What do you dislike about SystemLink?** Like all new software of NI also SystemLink comprises many bugs and is not near to offer an optimized user interface. We realize that it is work in progress and hope that NI software developers concentrate more on debugging and less to implement new features. **What problems is SystemLink solving and how is that benefiting you?** DataFinder Server Edition will be discontinued and thus we are forced to use any other software on the server side. Having DIAdem to index 3.5E6 files on each client machine is no option.
