**What do you like best about Swap Commerce?**

What I like most about Swap Commerce is the combination of a strong returns platform and genuinely responsive support.

The system has helped us manage returns more clearly across Customer Service, Warehouse and Merchandising. Even when an issue has come up, it has been resolved quickly with minimal impact on customers, and any financial queries or back-end corrections have usually been sorted within the same day.

Eoin has also been excellent throughout our move from Swap V1 to Swap V2, supporting the testing and implementation across different teams and helping us work through any issues along the way. It has felt like working with a partner rather than just a software provider.

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

Swap V1 was more limited when it came to integrations with other platforms, which meant some processes still relied on manual work.

Swap V2 has been a big improvement so far, with much stronger integrations and a more flexible setup. There are still areas being developed, such as automated bundle return calculations, but once this is in place it should save our C

**What problems is Swap Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Swap Commerce makes the returns process much easier and clearer for customers, giving them a simple self-service journey with better visibility throughout.

That reduces unnecessary contact with our Customer Service team, lowers contact pressure and removes a lot of avoidable manual work. It creates a better experience for the customer while also making the process easier and more efficient for the team, so it is a genuine win-win.

**What do you like best about Swap Commerce?**

Working with the Swap team has been a game changer. The team are dynamic and super helpful in guidance and suggestion on strategy as well as delivering a well polished returns solution.

Swap Global has allowed us to ship internationally and remove the logistical and Operational headaches, a true 'set & forget' system.

They are the new kids on the block and they are delivering some really useful tools that actually solve issues in our vertical.

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

Least helpful thing about Swap? I don't think there is anything!

**What problems is Swap Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working with Swap has given us access to people that have worked brand side and now work for Swap. They understand what we are trying to do as a business and are able to help and consult from both a brand side POV as well as Swap.

The team is helping us polish the international side of our business, consulting on everything from paid delivery thresholds to walking us through Shopify Flows.

**What do you like best about Swap Commerce?**

We've been able to centralise our return information and data. Iron out our return process and ensure this is uniform and everything can be tracked. Its a clear and easy system to use day to day to track and process our returns.

Its helped to reduce workload across our customer service returns team and completely automate some refund requests and partially automate other refund requests and exchanges. We've integrated it with Shopify and our back end system and will continue to work with Swap to improve on the integrations.

We can pull data on customer comments, repeat issues and problem items alongside the main return reasons and how many returns reflect as refunds per exchanges. We use this data across the entire company to find issues within our workshop, shipping and suppliers. It supports our sales team and we've been able to trigger tickets for high value returns so we can intervene while in transit and try to retain.

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

Not have a centralised claims tab, I run our Customer Service returns team and it would help to be able to monitor what claims are ongoing, how many are active vs closed. We'd rather have an overview of this, regardless of who has raised the claim, so other members of the team can respond or chase these as needed.

We can change a refund request to a gift card but we'd also like this option for exchanges. Sometimes customers change their mind on the exchange or its unavailable and having to option to change to a gift card request will help automate these.

We can only adjust an exchange for the same item but a different size, if applicable. We would like the option to change to alternate products again to help with our automation and overall workload. Currently if a customer wants an alternate product that stated on the RMS, we have to close the return request and process the exchange manually on shopify. This of course slows us down and adds to the workload.

**What problems is Swap Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The amount and value of refunds. We sue the data and customer comments to get to the core issues and are in the midst of making adjustments across the company to support in this. For example we had a lot of returns due to colour and clarity of the jewels selected, we have compiled this information, amount of returns and value to provide data to allow for progress and improvement.

**What do you like best about Swap Commerce?**

Filters are easy to use, the platform is easy to navigate around, information is clear and the integration with shopify makes for ease of use, chat is easy to use when you have an issues, the clear table contents and tavs make it easy to use, and there is a fast connection between shopify when you click process it immediately works in the background

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

When you open the webpage it automatically begins in analytics, personally it should open to the return dashboard, there is an inability to amend the return reason without deleting the RMA, not all users have access to this, so a bypass or amendment to either switch return reason or when a rma is closed over ride the return again would be helpful, between swap 1 and swap 2 the search features are different. SWAP1 uses just the numericals of our order numbers, SWAP2 uses both the letters and numbers but the letters are case sensitive, you cant amend the return method choice, the chat function is easy to use and the agents are very helpful. Finally the RMA created, if deleted or closed doesnt let shopify recreate a return in the order

We really wanted to retain refunds and offer store credit, swap has introduced the convert to credit option that lets us amend the refund amount to credit (we do like to offer an additional balance so if that can be added that would be great)

**What do you like best about Swap Commerce?**

What I like best about Swap Commerce is that it has completely transformed The Diamond Store's returns process by bringing everything into one manageable and streamlined platform. It has significantly improved our operational efficiency and provided a much better experience for both our team and our customers.

Equally importantly, the team at Swap has been exceptional. They are consistently available to provide support, are proactive in helping us navigate more complex scenarios, and genuinely work collaboratively with us to find solutions. Having a strong platform is one thing, but having a responsive and knowledgeable team behind it has made a real difference to our experience.

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

Overall, our experience with Swap Commerce has been very positive. The areas for improvement are generally smaller operational details rather than major issues.

One challenge has been user permissions and access controls, which can feel somewhat limited depending on the level of flexibility required by different teams. Additionally, when transitioning to Swap 2, some of the smaller features and quality-of-life improvements that made a real difference to our day-to-day workflows were not carried over, which was disappointing.

I would also say that, at times, there can be a lengthy wait for the implementation of smaller feature requests or enhancements. Whilst these may appear minor individually, they can have a significant impact on operational efficiency and the overall user experience.

**What problems is Swap Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Swap Commerce is helping us solve several key operational challenges by working collaboratively with us to adapt the platform to the unique needs of the jewellery industry.

One of the biggest benefits has been the introduction of projects aimed at improving accessibility and the customer experience, such as the implementation of a chat feature to make it easier for customers to obtain support throughout the returns journey.

Most importantly, Swap has been working closely with us to develop a dedicated repair workflow. The nature of our business differs significantly from many traditional ecommerce sectors, such as fashion and apparel, as jewellery often carries substantial sentimental value and requires ongoing maintenance, repairs, resizing, and aftercare services. Standard returns platforms are not typically designed with these requirements in mind.

Swap has demonstrated a genuine willingness to understand our business model and work with us to develop solutions that better support our customers and internal processes. This collaborative approach has enabled us to improve efficiency, enhance the customer experience, and move towards a more streamlined and scalable aftercare process.

**What do you like best about Swap Commerce?**

We switched over to SWAP returns over a year ago and the user experience is greatly improved and we have been able to retain so much more money in the business through the exchange or shop now features. We then installed Swap Global for cross boarder order fulfilment and have seen our international sales increase by over 100% since making the change from Global-E. 

The user interface is super intuitive and if we do have any issues then SWAP's customer support is always on hand to assist. 

Since setting up (which was straight forward and handled by the team) we very rarely need to make changes which is nice that it is so light touch for us.

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

Our experience has been great and don't really have any dislikes with the platform.

**What problems is Swap Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From a cross boarder fulfilment solution this is much more transparent for the customer and allows them to see what the product costs are and what are additional duties and taxes.

**What do you like best about Swap Commerce?**

I like how Swap Commerce provides easiness for our customers when logging a return or purchasing from outside the UK. The returns reporting is particularly helpful. We use Swap for all our returns and outbound shipping to international customers, which means our customers don't have to deal directly with customs since it's all handled by Swap.

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

We ship from multiple locations as our stores are also online. However, we consolidate the parcel so if an order is split between a store and our warehouse we consolidate it at our warehouse so that the customer receives it in one parcel. However, Swap Commerce will double charge shipping as it looks to be two parcels. We had a workaround before, however, this stopped working and it's back to charging shipping twice, which we then need to refund.

**What problems is Swap Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Swap Commerce helps us understand return volumes and reasons with reports, and streamlines outbound shipping by handling customs, making it easier for our customers to buy internationally.

Their collaborative approach and willingness to listen to customer feedback. They're open to developing and enhancing features within the platform to better meet their customers' needs, which shows they're committed to continuous improvement and building solutions that genuinely add value.

One area for improvement is user permissions. The current permission structure isn't strict enough, as it allows all users access to settings that should ideally be restricted based on roles. More granular role-based permissions would improve security, reduce the risk of accidental changes, and give businesses greater control over user access. I know this is somethng they are working on

Swap Commerce is solving the challenge of bringing together data from multiple sources into one place, making analytics more accessible and actionable. This has helped us better understand performance, identify opportunities for revenue retention, and make more informed business decisions. It has also automated a number of manual processes, reducing unnecessary workload, minimising manual intervention, and allowing the team to focus on more valuable tasks.

I really enjoy Swap Commerce's flexibility and how user-friendly the platform is. The interface design is something I love, and I appreciate that it is always open to new suggestions to fit our business needs. It's also easy to use and customizable, and I find the analytics side of things very useful and insightful for business feedback. It helps us gather detailed data through customer experience and feedback. Furthermore, the initial setup of Swap Commerce was very easy.

There are some limitations with Swap Commerce, like not being able to generate a label to send rejected parcels back to customers. It would also be great to have an omni-channel feature because our UK and US channels are separate. But other than no issues with processing

The communication and support SWAP have provided since we joined has been fantastic, and it’s been very refreshing compared with other companies we’ve used in the past. They also offer fantastic services that help our business grow, especially during busy periods.

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

It took us a while to get used to Swaps’ back-end integration and to take control of our own Shopify store again. But once we figured it out, it was definitely worth it.

**What problems is Swap Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Swap has made our lives easier when it comes to international distribution. We now have full control over our pricing structure, which we didn’t have before. We’re currently in the process of moving forward with Swap Clear, and it should solve major tax and duty issues for our US customers.

We manage two websites- would be good if we could consolidate reporting, but honestly there isn't much I don't like and SWAP V2 has been great for our customers.

Its ensure a fiction free returns process for our customers, and the benefit is protecting our reputation as well delivery additional benefits such as exchanges.

**What do you like best about Swap Commerce?**

The team are fantastic, knowledgeable, and always quick to reply to any questions. They really stay on top of everything, and their portal has made it so much easier to access business analytics.
The returns side has saved us so much time and money, but is still wonderfully simple for customers to use.
The integration and implementation for both the cross-border solution and the returns portal was so easy and quick, and we love that nothing is blocked off/ hidden from us, as we experienced with other providers before.

We're in the process of moving to their upgraded returns portal and the new features make things even better. One of the great things about Swap is that they're always improving their offering. Our account manager Lara is an absolute star and is always on top of everything. We're informed of any and all changes and developments around the world that might impact our business and Swap always has a solution ready. I would recommend them to any business.

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

I was disappointed when they removed their tracking service, but I can't fault any of their processes or technology. It's super easy to use and they're always looking at ways to improve it.

**What problems is Swap Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their knowledge and advice around international pricing coefficients and taxes and duties has been extremely useful and allowed us to better align ourselves in the market, as well as ensuring that there are no surprise charges for customers when the package reaches customs. 

They are always prepared ahead of time for international changes and challenges, and it's great to know that we can rely on them. This is super important as things can change so quickly with international customs/ VAT etc. 
The Shopify integration and their portals consistently perform; we haven't had any outage issues, so it's been super reliable for us.
I also love the new additions of AI insights - it separates out the feedback into topics that we can then investigate further if needed. It has made it a lot easier to dive into large amounts of data with a plan.

**What do you like best about Swap Commerce?**

I like Swap Commerce's outstanding support, which is always proactive with their services. We had the opportunity to participate in launching a couple of new features, which let us help shape the solutions that are now standard. I appreciate how we were able to influence things like the tax widget presentation at checkout. If there was something missing that we thought would be beneficial for the customer's journey, it was always implemented.

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

It's the Shopify limitation that allows only access to the shipping API, which forces Swap Commerce to calculate taxes as part of the shipping line. Seeking a workaround or putting pressure on Shopify could help. The initial setup of Swap Commerce was quite complex since we decided to integrate it directly with our ERP system as well, which required custom integration.

Swap Commerce handles tax and duties calculations and manages returns. We could influence features like the tax widget at checkout, improving customer experience.

Swap's cross-functionality has served our business well. The connection between our global sales and returns is incredibly useful for reporting purposes- not to mention the ease of claiming taxes back when an international order is returned. 

When we first started shipping internationally, we didn't know where to begin. Being introduced to Swap meant we could launch cross-boarder with ease and reassurance of compliance.

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

We had a brief issue with the claim raising process for both return shipments and international outbounds. This has since been resolved with the help of our wonderful Account Manager Ellie.

**What problems is Swap Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compliance when shipping to different regions. We rest assured that we are meeting requirements and are confident that we will be notified by Swap if anything needs to change.

I believe that sometimes I do not have certain icons appear on my swap personally such as the bin, this hinders my ability to delete certain swap requests as if the bin icon is not present I am unable to

From the customer side, it’s easy to log returns, which reduces the amount of manual intervention needed from the CS team when handling returns.

Right now, the CS team isn’t able to manually update a customer’s selection or switch an exchange to a refund when the chosen variant is out of stock.

The ability for the customer to initiate the response, with everything handled automatically, is a huge help in the CS team’s day-to-day operations.

One major benefit of Swap is how advanced the reporting is. It syncs with shopify product / order tags to generate the reports, which is especially useful to us as we have just launched clothing

We did have some teething problems with the claim raising process. It took a while to figure out but our account manager found a solution that benefited both parties

I really like that Swap Commerce has a sleek look and is very user-friendly, which takes a lot of work off our hands. It's efficient too. I also love the shop later credit feature, which allows customers to get store credit rather than a refund, saving the business money.

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

If customers return exchanges, the refunds don't get automatically refunded, as it places a second order at £0, which means you have to keep an eye on them to refund the original order. I think this needs to be fixed.

Swap Commerce is user-friendly and reduces workload. I love the shop later credit, which helps save money by allowing store credit instead of refunds.

While Swap Commerce provides an excellent solution, it does feel like they are still playing catch-up with Shopify’s native ‘Markets’ functionality. Multi-currency handling within a single Shopify store could be smoother, and tighter alignment with Shopify’s evolving international features would make the platform even more powerful.

We’ve found the platform to be easy to use and integrate with our existing systems. It’s allowed us to increase retention by offering  more flexible exchange options that reduce refund rates and drive brand loyalty. There’s little to fault with the platform, but we are looking forward to seeing what future updates bring to the platform and how these can be utilised by our brand. We would like to see different website hosted on the same portal for ease of use by our small team.

Their return carrier rates are amazing!
They're continually innovating and adding value, the return rules were an excellent addition, as well as the options for retaining revenue and keeping your customer.
Overall saved our company a lot of money and time.

SWAP saved us time with its self-service returns portal, allowing most customers to completely bypass customer service.
The reduced our return costs with their great carrier rates.
The added value to our customers by providing multiple returns providers such as Royal Mail, Inpost and DPD.
Time to refund was also reduced massively by using their automation and integration with Shopify.
And we've retained a lot of revenue by using their exchange and pay later options.

This is a positive and a negative. They are great at releasing new products but sometimes there are features within their core product (returns) that need updated or improved but the focus is generally on new products however V2 has fixed a lot of those issues.

Swap solves our high rate of returns and allows us to try and retain as much of that revenue as we can. We also use them for our cross border sales which makes it much easier for us not having to get bogged down with the admin side of things and making it smooth for the customer.

Also, not having to think about tax compliance for all cross-border sales, gives us significantly more time to focus on other aspects of the business

The swap platform works great. We use is specifically for returns. The returns platform is affordable but feature rich. Specifically for us it allowed us to give customers multiple shipping options as well as a great analytics platform.
Because swap is also a global platform, the team there are incredibly knowledgeable about all things ecommerce.
Integration was easy, adding new carriers is simple, and the number of carriers they integrate with is vast. We've not found one that isn't an easy plug in and play.

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

The only thing I dislike is the AI chatbot for issues. While it can solve most issues, it's quite difficult to escalate to a human.

The customer return portal is incredibly user-friendly with a clean, simple design that’s easy to navigate. It's also easily customisable to fit your brand.

The dashboard is really easy to get the hang of, making it simple to monitor and process returns. As a data-driven brand, we also love the insights it provides, from return reasons to retained revenue.

The team at Swap are fantastic, from the onboarding process all the way through to post-launch support. A special shout-out to our account manager, Ellie and the tech team for always being on hand to help!

Another thing we love is that Swap are always looking to improve and develop the service. They actively seek feedback and implement changes, which shows their commitment to enhancing the platform.

The data Swap provides has also been a huge asset to us. It helps us track product performance and if something has a high return rate, we can look into the reasons why and make improvements moving forward.

The only thing to change at the moment is the speed in which reporting loads. There is a version 2 out which we are migrating over too very soon which should help with this issue.

**What do you like best about Swap Commerce?**

Swap Commerce has made it easy for us to offer returns and exchanges that genuinely enhance the post-purchase experience for our customers. The platform is straightforward to use. It’s helped us improve retention by making exchanges more flexible. Their support team has also been incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we need their guidance.

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

SWAP are currently working on transferring us over to SWAP 2, where our current requests will be resolved.

**What problems is Swap Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Swap Commerce is helping us streamline and simplify the returns and exchanges process, both for our team and for our customers.

The platform is very clear and easy to navigate to find the necessary information.

**What do you dislike about Swap Commerce?**

Reporting can be clearer. Would love to see more options and filters for reports.

**What problems is Swap Commerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Swap has helped with cross border shipping/ return custom issues massively. It's reduced a lot of our time in dealing with custom issues. Also it makes it clearer to customers.
