It provides tools for co-editing, shared folder management, and secure link sharing, making it ideal for hybrid teams. However, there are areas for improvement, such as handling large file uploads and enhancing external portal access. Despite these challenges, Suite remains a valuable asset for teams looking to streamline their workflows and reduce version control issues. **What do you like best about Suite?** I really like Suite's smooth real‑time co‑editing and shared folder structure, which allows our hybrid in‑office and remote team to work collaboratively. It’s great that our graphic designers, wholesale sales reps, and e‑commerce staff can access product spec sheets, lookbook drafts, and marketing asset folders without constantly sending files back and forth over email. Last season we were finalizing product reference materials for one of our key wholesale retail partners. Our designer was updating size tables and fabric fit notes directly inside Suite, while our wholesale sales rep was reviewing those exact same documents concurrently. One team member had downloaded a local cached copy of the spec sheet onto their laptop and was about to attach that old file to an email going straight to the retail buyer. Because everything lived inside the shared cloud folder, I spotted they were viewing the stale local copy immediately and made them pull the live updated version instead. We dodged what would have been costly order misinformation for that important partner. I also appreciate how straightforward it is to adjust individual folder access permissions, which lets me lock down sensitive vendor contract folders from junior interns while still giving our freelance photo editor access only to the specific asset folders they need for shoots. Additionally, I find Suite's simple link‑sharing functionality for outside vendors and contract workers very handy, especially because I can set expiration dates and restrict link access to maintain control over our unreleased line visuals. Once their sampling work wrapped up, I revoked that link access in one click, so they could no longer browse our unreleased spring reference imagery. On one occasion, the factory downloaded an older tech‑pack file from the folder instead of the revised final copy, and produced sample garments with incorrect sizing, racking up unnecessary material costs for our small apparel brand. Lastly, the initial setup and transition from our previous tool involved a lot of manual work to recreate folder structures and permissions, which was more time‑consuming than I expected. I misconfigured one folder permission during migration and had to spend hours sorting misplaced seasonal assets before we could go live with our team training. **Recommendations to others considering Suite:** To improve Suite's functionality, I recommend enhancing the upload process to handle large batches of high-resolution images more efficiently, ensuring that files are not corrupted during upload. Implementing a native file preview feature for industry-specific file types would greatly benefit our workflow, allowing partners to review documents without downloading them. Additionally, creating a more streamlined process for setting up external portal access with saved templates for permissions and expiry dates would save time and reduce repetitive tasks. Addressing these issues would significantly enhance our team's productivity and reduce the risk of costly errors. **What problems is Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Suite solves version chaos, allowing our team to store, edit, and collaborate on files in real time. It reduces miscommunication mistakes with manufacturers and wholesale partners, and simplifies file access for our hybrid team. Before we moved over to Suite, all our tech packs, lookbooks and marketing visuals bounced around email attachments and separate local laptop storage. Different people would download files, edit their own copies, and send renamed versions back into our threads, with no single trusted source of truth. We learned how expensive this workflow could be while working with our overseas pattern‑making vendor last year. Multiple edited versions of our size spec sheets circulated through email. Our sales coordinator sent an outdated attachment to the factory, and they built prototype samples using wrong measurement values. We wasted fabric and labour on a full set of unusable samples and fell well behind our sample delivery timeline. After that costly misstep, we started looking for a better collaborative workspace. Inside Suite, our in‑office e‑commerce staff, remote designers and wholesale sales reps all work off the same live cloud‑hosted files. We no longer rely on messy email attachments to pass product documents around.
