Deleting one by one created additional forms - it would be easier to select some and delete them altogether. 2. "The delete function will remove the label from all applications and delete the label." - when there are many labels, it would be more convenient if deleting labels in Configurations would not delete labels in archived applications (for the audit trail). 3. Inconvenient tool for evaluation of applications. Our application evaluation sheets are more complex than the Review Form Tools proposed for evaluation. It also helps tracks the submissions internally so we know who has submitted and who hasn't. It also allows for mutliple users and assignments so that each form can go to a specific user and not everyone needs to be notified. The forced account system also allows for a submitter to track their submission an see it sit in a draft stage and not submitted state. **What do you dislike about Submittable?** All my submission forms are searchable through google. Some of them are private forms that only those who have the link to submit on but there are many others trying to use the form. A lot of users that we ask for submissions also complain on the fact you need to create an account in order to make a submission. While it's extremely helpful, there should be an option that allows for submissions without creating an account for these. It also intimidates our non tech savvy users. Some time last year, submittable also stopped allowing us to see all the submissions of.a particular submission form at once. You will need to user filters if you want the same effect. **What problems is Submittable solving and how is that benefiting you?** Submittable helps us collect information that we need. With it, we can collect information and data we request of from our selective users. The designed form also allows us to put as much information we need to prevent the FAQ that often happens. ### 9. The platform is very comprehensive and customizable as well as very user-friendly. The training provided was also very thorough and equipped our team to move forward using the platform with confidence. For our organization, it was also very important to be able to offer the application in multiple languages and Submittable was one of the few platforms that offered this functionality without relying on Google Translate. **What do you dislike about Submittable?** We've been very satisfied with all aspects of the platform. Of course, with a high functioning platform, there is also a significant investment involved so that would be the only challenge our organization has encountered as we are still relatively small and must be very mindful about expenses. **What problems is Submittable solving and how is that benefiting you?** Submittable provides a robust and easy-to-use way for our organization to receive grant funding requests from innovative nonprofit organizations around the world. I can track who has started to work on their proposal review and they can also see our clarifying correspondence with the applicant in real time. The application building process helps us design an application that makes sense to our grantees and eases their burden in applying. **What do you dislike about Submittable?** As with any software updates, it has taken a while to get use to the new Submittable platform changes but in the end, it is worth it. We can now link forms (for example, a final report form) to an application so everything is one place. I think customer support was overwhelmed with the changeover and it took a while for them to reply for help requests. I wish you can have a more direct help line without paying a premium. **What problems is Submittable solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have really expanded what we use Subnmittable for -- applications for training as well as grants, site visit reports, final reports. The more we use it, the more cost-effective it becomes although the price has jumped up in the past few years. Especially while we are all working remotely, being able to collaborate and review applications online has made the administrative load easier and is also easier for our board/reviewers to get everything they need in one place. ### 12. We immediately put it to use after a weather disaster in our community and had a very successful campaign. It really helped facilitate and enhance our corporate social responsibility initiatives. **What do you dislike about Submittable?** Customer support - it took much longer than was communicated to get the platform up and running. This was 100% because our Account Manager was virtually non-responsive. It would take weeks sometimes to get a simple response to a question so we could get the integration working. Troubleshooting minor issues would take way longer than necessary because no one would reply to questions. Bright Funds would reach out about something we needed to do; we would execute but then wouldn't hear back for at least a week. Typically several weeks. We even tried circumventing our account manager and going through their customer support desk, which did not help. Bright Funds has high potential and could add a lot of value to an organization, but I would not recommend using their platform because the poor customer support rendered it virtually un-usable at times. **What problems is Submittable solving and how is that benefiting you?** Finding ways to engage our employees with our corporate social responsibility initiatives. The layout of the program could use a designer to help make it a bit more user-friendly. This is actually a pretty large issue, and I hope Submittable will work to make the platform accessible on Google Chrome in the future. **What problems is Submittable solving and how is that benefiting you?** Submittable allows us to quickly and efficiently design applications for large quantities of applicants. The Live chat feature also allows us to very quickly resolve any issues or questions that we have. By using a user-friendly platform like Submittable, I actually feel more confident in creating impactful programs for our audiences because I know that people will be able to apply efficentely, and we the review process will be streamlined. ### 32. Unfortunately, beyond that I am not finding much value to expedite our funding process. The system I had manually created using Google Sheet for donation tracking seems more efficient, as I have to go into multiple accounts every month and enter multiple scholarship payments. I guess if you are issuing and distributing one scholarship and never have to follow-up, it may make sense, but we deplete funds monthly for all of our scholarships, so it's bulky and time-consuming. The concept of the platform is great, but I have yet to understand why they charge SO MUCH for it. I can create something close in Airtable and pay 1/100 of the cost of Submittable. **What do you dislike about Submittable?** The cost is too high for the features provided. The drag-and-drop features make building forms incredibly easy and the finished product leaves lots of white space and a great look for applicants. Another excellent feature is the easy-to-use search features when you're trying to find a specific application or applicants with particular qualities. **What do you dislike about Submittable?** The tool can be a little bit clunky at times--it's not always easy to remember where specific features are located. Zengine streamlined this process and gave us immediate results as each Board member completed their reviews. Our Board President said "That is the best money we have ever spent. It is a powerful database with tremendous functionality. The better we learn the system, the more uses we find for it. It has transformed multiple workstreams for us, automating annual functions that used to be time-intensive and tedious. For example, our applicants complete their applications and upload resumes and transcripts; they also submit a recommender's name and contact information and have the ability to send automated reminders, update their recommender's email address, or even submit a new recommender. Empowering applicants to manage this process saves our team hours of work. We use WizeHive instead of a CRM, mail merge service, applicant tracking system, time tracking system, onboarding app, business intelligence data app, and survey administrator. It saves us thousands of dollars annually. The Zapier integration extends WizeHive's functionality indefinitely. The WizeHive Support Team is incredibly responsive and supportive. They build our capacity to use the system while immediately helping us answer questions and solve problems. We consider them extended members of our team! **What do you dislike about Submittable?** The system is so intentionally designed with so much potential functionality that mastery can involve a learning curve. However, the WizeHive Implementation Team works closely with each client to determine the level of support needed and the level of involvement desired. The Implementation Lead does not sign off on the project until the client is 100% confident in the training, testing, and ongoing management of the system. The Support Team is incredibly responsive and demonstrates consistent mastery of the system and our particular use case. The Help Center has videos, webinars, and articles to support ongoing learning. Every month, we receive an email with all of the new system innovations. In the 15 months we have been using WizeHive, they have transformed the internal dashboards that were already very robust. **What problems is Submittable solving and how is that benefiting you?** WizeHive helps us complete our application, selection, onboarding, survey, tracking, and alumni management in one unified platform. We used to save associated files in Dropbox and Google Drive; now, we have all of the records for each applicant in one secure location.
