# Which video hosting tools work best for marketing teams that need editing features?

Wistia: AI editing tools handle speech enhancement, auto-trimming, and social clip creation, plus a built-in teleprompter with an AI script generator, aimed specifically at marketing content produced on a schedule.

Vidyard: built-in editor for cutting, trimming, text overlays, and noise removal, with CTAs and email gating layered on top, more geared toward sales-adjacent marketing content than brand video production.

Vimeo: the fullest editing suite of the group, video creation, customization, and live streaming in one place, closer to a creative team's toolkit than a quick-record-and-publish workflow.

Loom: AI filler word removal and auto-trim are genuinely useful, but reviewers and third-party comparisons consistently describe its editing as built for quick internal or async content rather than polished marketing output.

For a marketing team specifically, has the built-in editing actually replaced a separate editing step, or does it just handle the first pass before something else finishes the job?

For me, built-in editing would mostly handle the first pass. Trimming, captions, overlays, and quick social clips can save a separate step, but I’d still use a dedicated editor for more polished campaign or brand videos.
