**What do you like best about StratusLIVE?**

StratusLive (SL) has been critical to our organization's success for years.  It is the primary tool I use daily to accomplish my organizational role.  It is a powerful tool that empowers our team members to not only enter new data but also, just as importantly, see a historical perspective of our donors and corporate partners.  The technology solutions SL offers are key, but as the main point of contact between our organizations, I am most impressed with SL's team.  Their expertise, customer-focused attitudes, and personalities are something I have come to appreciate and value greatly.  Yes, the technology is essential, but the ability of SL's team to make us better at using/utilizing the technology has been instrumental in our success.  Although I wasn't on the team when it was implemented, I have been here and encouraged our organization to implement some of their add-on technology.  The ease of implementation has been just that...easy.  We also greatly value the ease of integration between their solutions.

**What do you dislike about StratusLIVE?**

I think their support document library can seem a bit overwhelming to a newcomer; however, having been a frequent visitor to their Zendesk, I now know how to find an answer to my question and, in the worst case, submit a support ticket.

**What problems is StratusLIVE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing one place to house all of our information pertaining to donor, corporate partner, grant, volunteer, and agency partner management.  
Also providing us with the ability to provide giving pages both online and via corporate partner portals.

**What do you like best about StratusLIVE?**

The integration from our Give at Work portals into the CRM works well and helps us keep track of monies raised.

**What do you dislike about StratusLIVE?**

I wish they had household ID's when contact records are connected via a spousal link.

**What problems is StratusLIVE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are hosting Webinars more often where users are encouraged to participate and ask questions. This is especially helpful because points come up that certain aspects have changed that I may have missed.

**What do you like best about StratusLIVE?**

There are not a lot of crm packages that fit the needs of United Ways and the designation payout process. The report writer is light years ahead of some others I've seen. User interface is easy to customize and users can pick their preferred view, whether your in resource development, accounting, marketing...  If it comes down to this is Adar, it's Stratuslive every day. Your finance dept might love the Andar reports, but you're not buying a system for just the accounting dept. Since it's a Microsoft product, it integrates nicely with other apps, outlook, excel, word merges. Thought, the SL to outlook link is not always stable and has to be reconnected often.

**What do you dislike about StratusLIVE?**

Per user costs are high compared to alternatives. Add on modules like workplace giving, Ignite, are expensive. But if you have a lot of campaigns you want to run natively it would be worth it. Clickdimensions email add on did not work as described. We tried it twice, 5 years apart from each other and while it looks nice, we could not get it to fit our desired functionality. Financial reports work, but they could be better compared to Andar according to finance dept. There's not an easy way to get a total dollar amount for a donor during a campaign year unless you export all their donations and sum; not too difficult, but it comes up all the time.

Donor data collection, segmentation, and output. These are most important to us so we can target our messages best to current/potential donors.

**What do you like best about StratusLIVE?**

It is more than just CRM. We capture as much information on our accounts and contacts as possible - demographics, employment info, volunteer information, track committees/members of committees/attendance for members of the committees for each campaign; manage events, volunteer projects and volunteer activities; assign recognitions; manage affinity groups/engagement networks; and a wealth of financial information. We are able to provide reports and analyze the data with Power BI. The support we receive from StratusLIVE is outstanding.

**What do you dislike about StratusLIVE?**

We are now challenged with figuring out how to manage individual givers, as well as workplace campaigns.

**What problems is StratusLIVE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing us to capture and manage our data and provide our accounts and donors with the best possible relationship management. The ultimate goal is to make our community and the population we serve better. When we can create trusting relationships with donors, give them accurate and timely information, and be good stewards of their money, then the more successful we are in bringing about generational change and making our community a better place to live.

Sometimes pulling reports requires us to do more than one advanced find pull in order to be able to get a comprehensive look at the transactions in an account
Being in Hawaii and SL being on the East Coast, we don't always have support for all our business hours

Some of the newly developed modules fit basic needs, but more functionality is needed to fit all of them.

Want to have one source of the truth about our contacts, donors, and partners that is easily kept up to date.  Ability to integrate seemlessly with digital marketing solutions such as DotDigital to enable productive outreach and engagement with prospects, volunteers and donors.

Lack of transparency on future roadmap. Would love to see more innovations with the give at work platform.

Stratus live provides online giving platforms that streamline the giving process.  The platforms provide flexibility to accomodate our company's needs and also our corporate partners.

**What do you like best about StratusLIVE?**

1. The Finance module supports customized Allocation Contracts to support our various types of fees for different Allocation Payouts.
2. StratusLIVE technical support is exceptional! I've been a CRM administrator, using StratusLIVE, for four years and have always
received fast, detailed comments, and extremely high-quality support for any issues, problems, or questions.
3. The option to adjust pledges is extremely helpful.
4. Soft Credit tracking is also very useful to our organization

**What do you dislike about StratusLIVE?**

More data fields or options to "tag"/mark constituent records with labels to easily identify a group or segment based on the label.
Currently, there are only three fields (Reporting Group 1, 2, 3). A few more would be helpful.

**What problems is StratusLIVE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking gifts and payments from donors provides insight to overall campaign progress as well as account giving and individual donor giving.

**What do you like best about StratusLIVE?**

StratusLIVE allowed us to eliminate multiplate platforms that weren't talking to one another. Now our donor database, email marketing and workplace giving is all in one central CRM system.

**What do you dislike about StratusLIVE?**

I think it is important to remember that with any CRM system you get out of it what you put into it. There have been times when an enhancement priority for us might not rise to the top of StratusLIVE's priority list based on other customer needs so we have financed some system development to meet the needs of our organization. I don't think this is unusual though.

**What problems is StratusLIVE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

StratusLIVE is helping us operate more efficiently and reduce the redundancy that occurred when we had multiple systems and databases. By reducing redundancy more staff time can be spent on fundraising and marketing strategy.

United Way's workplace giving model requires that extra effort to track not just individuals, but also their associations. Stratus is built with that in mind. 

When it comes to the basics of fundraising, everyone does the same thing. Separation comes in the unique offerings like StratusLive has.

**What do you dislike about StratusLIVE?**

As they continue to strive to innovate, you can receive new cutting edge ideas as they are in process. I'm impatient, my excitement for what's coming can frustrate me. I'm not sure it's fair to hold them to that and ultimately I'm grateful for continuous development.

**What problems is StratusLIVE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the pandemic, we relied in paper pledge forms and providing unique solutions outside of that. However, Stratus automated the digital process for us while also giving us ways to uniquely tailor solutions.

the ability to integrate packages into one CRM platform - clickdimensions for marketing communications, Ignite for giving and volunteering.
this is better than competitors because other platforms require importing pledges/gifts. SL makes it so much easier.

it is hard to see a yearly $ total for a contact if they have pledges, gifts, and/or soft credits.

we also need a revised process for capturing DAF gifts through portals

Love the platform we can offer companies to help them achieve their CSR goals. We are able to customize their Give at Work site to offer giving, volunteer opportunities as well as capture volunteer hours

StratusLive as a crm can be somewhat intimidating to new users who don't have a lot of experience with using crm systems. While it provides a very comprehensive and customized approach, for some users less options would be better and a more user friendly navigation of high use areas would be helpful.

Allowing us to be a more effective and more efficient online fundraising organization while giving our partners a wide variety of ways to engage in the work we are doing and help drive our mission.

The ease of accessing data. From reports to advanced finds to dashboards. Accessing data has been much improved.

**What do you dislike about StratusLIVE?**

Activities are "cluncky". When we asked if it could be changed, it couldn't because if was a Dynamics issue.

Prior to implementing StratusLIVE, we lacked the ability to manage fundraising business applications including financial processing, campaign management, online fundraising, and constituent engagement. StratusLive provides a fully integrated solution.

I like the versatility of StratusLIVE. That we can manage constituents and financial information in one CRM is a huge plus. Plus the ability to run workplace campaigns in Ignite, which then integrate directly to CRM makes our jobs so much easier.

**What do you dislike about StratusLIVE?**

There isn't anything that I dislike enough about StratusLIVE to call it out here. It is a very useful tool.

**What problems is StratusLIVE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves many of our constituent management and tracking problems. This benefits us by allowing us to manage constituents more efficiently and in a way that ensures everyone's data is protected.

They are responsive to customer needs. They constantly work to improve the functionality and provide state of that art features to benefit our organization. They have been a good partner through the years by being focused on the customer needs.

**What do you dislike about StratusLIVE?**

As with all software service providers, it takes time to develop, test and launch new features and functionality. We are always anxious to use the new assets. We appreciate being able to provide our input in the development work.

The nonprofit market is moving rapidly into digital engagement with our constituents. StratusLive has put a great of effort into producing tools that help us achieve a deeper engagement with donors, volunteers and community partners.

**What do you like best about StratusLIVE?**

StartusLive CRM is built on Dynamics 365 a trusted and reliable CRM so a I have limited fears related to down time.  The platform also has a familiarity to it for general users that typically interact with microsoft applications.  Finally, the ability to use power automate and Teams has been a big benefit and really supported our internal processes.

**What do you dislike about StratusLIVE?**

StratusLiVE provides numerous training and knowledge resources but does not support core Microsoft functionalities, and so it can feel as though you are on your own to figure things out.

**What problems is StratusLIVE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use StratusLiVE to tracking donor and company data as well as our interactions with both.  IT allows us to capture staff knowledge in a shared space, ensuring our engagements are consistent and connected.

Ignite Give at Work is a great tool for companies

**What do you dislike about StratusLIVE?**

We are told to submit feature requests but then nothing ever happens with them.

**What problems is StratusLIVE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to have Ignite sites for companies to participate in electronic giving and integrate the data back into CRM

Nothing to point out but have heard that a team member has had to call out on customer service challenges....not immediately referring to zen desk
