# Which Wastewater Pipeline Inspection platforms maintain strong user adoption rates after initial deployment?

Which platforms actually maintain adoption once the initial deployment excitement fades is harder to answer than which ones get selected in the first place, and it's the question that determines whether a purchase turns into a stranded license a year later. Adoption in wastewater pipeline inspection software tends to track how deeply each product is built into daily workflows rather than how it performs in a sales demo.

ITpipes: FieldVision/CoreVision sync and offline field coding keep it usable without constant connectivity, which matters for adoption among crews working in areas with unreliable signal.

PipeLogix: Packages scale from a single truck to a full office, reducing the odds that a smaller team abandons it once the initial rollout budget runs out.

GraniteNet: Tied directly to CUES hardware, so adoption is partly locked in by the equipment purchase itself rather than a standalone software decision.

IBAK: Built around flexible sewer network applications, which could support longer adoption across varied pipe conditions.

For teams that adopted one of these more than a year ago: is it still the primary system of record for inspections, or did crews quietly drift back to spreadsheets or a legacy tool once rollout support ended?

The adoption question is the right one to ask honestly. I've seen a couple of municipalities buy into inspection software mainly because it came bundled with new camera hardware, and a year later half the crew is still exporting to Excel because nobody budgeted time for actual training past week one. Software tied to hardware like GraniteNet can lock you in either direction, good if the hardware team likes it, rough if they don't and you're stuck anyway.
