Review Summary

Generated using AI from real user reviews
Users consistently praise SQLite for its ease of use and lightweight design, making it ideal for small projects and mobile applications. The straightforward setup and integration with various programming languages enhance its appeal, allowing developers to quickly implement database solutions. However, many note that it is not suitable for large-scale applications due to limited scalability and performance issues under heavy traffic.

"Small, fast, and easy to use database"
What do you like best about SQLite?

SQLite's most attractive feature is that the database is contained within a single file, so it's very easy to set up and test against, as well as migrating to other machines or platforms. It's also a surprisingly fast database, especially for queries. Finally, it has an excellent Python interface for integration into programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SQLite?

SQLite lacks many fancy features of bigger database engines, such as stored procedures. It also doesn't handle concurrent writes very well (although reads are OK), so it wouldn't be a good choice on a heavily used website, for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
