  ### 2. A real game changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy B. | Office Manager; payroll administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop makes it easy for me to assist my clients in real time. I work with several people who struggle with technology; Splashtop allows me to log in and handle issues for them quickly and without frustration. It's easy to install and I especially like being able to transfer files and print directly from my client's computer.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I have been using Splashtop for several years and I have no complaints. If you do run into issues, support is quick and thorough.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When a client calls with a question, usually involving QuickBooks, I can jump on and see exactly what the problem is. I can walk them through it or fix it directly. Before Splashtop there would be a lot of frustration trying to talk someone through an issue; especially with my older clients.

  ### 3. AMAZING service for a great price!

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

We've been using Splashtop Business for over 10 years. It is a reliable and affordable product that allow me to share my computers with my remote employee. I also access my main business computer while I'm traveling. I marvel every day about how awesome this product works. I switched from gotomypc and I've never looked back.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I have no complaints about this product. It fits my needs and is so affordable!

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows my remote employee to access our office computers from home. Allows myself to access my office computers from home on the weekends. We use a laptop with a local - not cloud based medical software program and Splashtop allows my staff, including myself, to access this computer remotely.

  ### 4. The best remote in software

  ### 5. Splashtop works well for us

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stu B. | Station Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

It works much more often that Teamviewer did. We had a lot of issues with Teamviewer and they seemed to not care. I have had no problems with Splashtop. Good customer support.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

It is easier to type on you local desktop and cut and paste copy to the remote. It is hard to see your mouse curser. We did not get a notification to renew. When we did, for some reason we are now getting a lot of email. Including emails to do surveys like this.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run a radio station. I can update weather and other time oriented material without physically going to the station.

  ### 6. Great features and support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I use Splashtop on an almost daily basis to remote into both Windows and Mac systems. The Splashtop streamer is very efficient, allowing high-quality remote desktop sessions. This is so good that you can watch a video (e.g., YouTube) over a remote connection with little to no degradation in quality. I use a mix of Windows and MacOS systems, and the support for both the streamer (target system) and the client is great on both. I have also used the Linux streamer. It is good, but probably a step or two behind the Mac and Windows streamers.

Setting up Splashtop is a breeze. You can effortlessly create a package from your online account, which can then be downloaded to the system you wish to remote into. This streamlined process makes setup a turnkey operation, eliminating any potential headaches.

Security is always a factor when opening up remote access to systems. Splashtop provides two-factor authentication (2FA) out of the box. I highly recommend turning this on. I hope that Splashtop expands the available factors in the future (Passkeys, FIDO2/Yubikeys).

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

The biggest frustration I have with Splashtop is the access model. I work from various laptops and desktop systems. If I leave a connection open on my desktop during the day and then I am working from my laptop, I cannot open a connection. I have to go in and force a disconnect of the existing system. It would be nice if it would just connect and allow the second connection, but I am assuming this breaks the Splashtop licensing model. An alternative would be to make it a one-step process, where connecting to a system that already has a connection would prompt you to disconnect the other session (instead of having to go into settings and force the disconnect and wait for it to happen).

I can live with the Splashtop subscription's 10-host limit. I would just like to see a better solution for accessing those 10 hosts from different systems.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access to lab machines (headless) Windows Server and MacOS.

  ### 7. Great Solution for Remote Access

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Easy to use, wide range of compatibility, versatile with wide range of resolutions, great security options, great management of access by user and device, ease of implementation, pricing.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Not run into anything I can say I dislike.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a Windows 10 endpoint environment and we needed the ability for employees to safely remote work. We assign them there device or a virtual machine we setup, then they can remote in, access network resources, and still be secure. The user essentially has the same access remote as if they were sitting at their PC. The also have audio AND mic passthrough so users can remote use an internal phone app which was great.

  ### 8. Essential

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

After an accident left me with long-term injuries that make walking painful, I subscribed to Splashtop Business. There’s only room for my desktop PC on the other end of the house, but I can access it from my small-capacity bedside laptop. Now I can use the desktop PC via my laptop and work more comfortably. Besides being able to work from home, our family PC is on the lower level of our home. I can keep an eye on what the kids are doing on that PC even though I can't be down there with them. I only needed Tech support once and they were very helpful when I needed them. I use Splashtop almost every day and don’t know what I’d do without it.

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Easy accessibility to computers, ease in use.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

The Printer feature doesn't always work and I've had to have it reset several times.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves time, allows for seamless workflow

  ### 39. Solid remote access software. Better than Teamviewer, not quite as good as Connectwise.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isaac G. | Technology Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

The SOS help link you can send out for one time access was huge. Also integration with RMM's like Atera was a plus. Solid software, decently relaible and good for "headless" connections to servers or desktops.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

We seemed to lose connection when performing a reboot. We switched to Connectwise which seemd more reliable.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It affordably provided a solution to connect to remote users and servers.

  ### 40. SplashTop: The Convenient Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

SOS - The ability for me to have someone go to a web browser and use the easy SOS installer helps a lot when it comes to clients that are not in our system already, or for residential clients who dont want us monitoring the computer, but may need help every now and again.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Outdated - I feel like Splashtop Business is a little outdated. The majority of RMM tools now have many more features and functions that you can use on the client computer.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop Business allows me to use Splashtop SOS which is very helpful in making it easy for a client to install and setup without walking through in depth details.

  ### 41. Easy to get up and running

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura` S. | Sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

It is easy to get up and running when you have a limited amount of time to get it done. The app tends to stay connected, even when internet is sometimes spotty.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Would like to be able to share the one user with another person when not using it myself. This is not brought out and explained in the usage page up front; but more money is required if you want to add another user on the same account, but by adding tech support it is made to seem a little cheaper, but it's not, unless you're adding multiple users. It's better to just add a separate account if you're only adding one.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Access:**

I'd recommend using Splashtop Business Access

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training someone to use our order entry system and it helps that I can be at home or at another location while doing it.

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Having used other products before using this one, it was easy to pick up and use. A few different icons to click on, but the same functionality

It doesn't stand out in the field of competetors.

  ### 45. Reliable and fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ceci L. | Human Resources assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I like that it's straightforward, not confusing at all and never had an issue connecting to another computer. Sometimes when you connect to another computer there's network issues, but never had any with Splashtop.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I haven't found anything I didn't like about Splashtop. We've been using it for over a year and it's been great ever since.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop allows all members of the team to access remotely to the server, where we store large files. We store them in the server before we put them up in the cloud. We need to check the files first, and then upload them. We all work remotely, and having access to the server is very useful.

  ### 46. Great Remote Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorine G. | Administrative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Its easy to use, connection doesn't lag.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Need to authenticate user too many times

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 47. Rock solid for remote access/control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop is absolutely great for both I.T. and end-users needing remote access to devices. Splashtop Support is one of the best support teams in the business.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop has too many product offerings so it is very confusing when they email you, or when your licensing is up for renewal. They also need to do more marketing work, their competition is beating them on the marketing front.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Splashtop for both I.T. and end user remote access. When Covid hit, we deployed it for all users who had a PC that could not go home with them. The changeover was trivial.

  ### 48. Great value for the product itself

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmed R. | Full Stack Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Individual users can access their own computer or streamer, but the pro access feature is what I found best in case you are working with a team, and you can provide support at the same time.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Not so beginner-friendly if you were to start a computer on your own, and in case you have two monitors, it gets a little slow for me. Moreover, real-time chat support would be helpful!

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Access:**

Practice solo first, because it'll be easier to understand and is quite faster since you are managing one monitor at a time. Then slowly if required migrate to the pro access

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is really good for its price, plus I found it quite fast if you are a solo user. The file transfers and remote access work with no low latency for a solo user

  ### 49. Best for my needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rose S. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I have used remote access software for 10+ years as a professional bookkeeper. I have used all the major choices for small businesses so I know what I need and really like. SplashTop has everything I need plus a few features that I like even more that I never knew I needed.

I especially love the one-button operations like multi-screen when my client has that, black their screen and lock keyboard for all the confidential work I do when an employee might be at what appears to be an unoccupied workstation.

I feel the price is right for my use and volume. Not like other companies that must think I run a multi-million dollar business. I am a semi-retired bookkeeper serving the entire US. I need a fast, full-featured software that is stupid easy on my client's end. My set up with them is NOW finally fool-proof with Splashtop. Not so before.

Thank you. You make me look great. Life finally got sweet in the remote access side of my business.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Not a thing. You all are the best in the class I serve.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can now send email to client that they can do the app download without special instructions AND it is set just for me, not other bookkeepers. I love that exclusivity.

  ### 50. Splashtop has no equal

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin G. | IT Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop delivers fast and secure remote access at a very reasonable price. It's a near-perfect product that has changed our ability to work remotely and function without compromise.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Honestly, there is little not to like about Splashtop. It works across all platforms and performs exceptionally. I'm sitting here and cannot think of anything negative to say about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Access:**

Considering Splashtop's price and features offered, you can't do any better looking for remote access software - Splashtop is the best out there!

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to remotely connect to all of our school's systems regardless of location. Transferring files, general maintenance and updates are accomplished flawlessly. Our teachers greatly benefit from having remote capabilities.
