  ### 6. Easy and Efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glen T. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop was easy to implement and users adapted quickly. Application deployment and antivirus solution to each workstation was simple. The ability to remote from anywhere with any device, including the web, has made Splashtop a choice solution over other options. And to top it off, to see a user’s phone as you walk them through problems makes all the difference. All of this for a reasonable price.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Although it isn’t a must, I wish I could manage computers and groups from the application instead of having to log into the website

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote Desktop is too vulnerable and other solutions are too costly. Splashtop fixes this.

  ### 7. Effortless to Use and Deploy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It enables us to easily remote access PC's, so we aren't running all over the place working on issues. This gives us a faster response time to issues and saves time and effort for the IT department.

  ### 8. Perfect for K-12 schools!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Technology Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Small footprint takes up very little of the student laptop resources. Students can not uninstall or kill the client. It is great for when you need to remote help or remote push out something at is a one off. I use it 10+ times a day in our environment. We have 3,000 devices. We will also use it to see when the last time a device was active and what the IP was to help us find lost or stolen devices. I live the grouping and favorite features, I have my 'watch list' of students. We use it as a remote audio tool as well... when we need to setup a presentation with a projector away from the sound system we simply slashtop into the laptop next to the projector and use the remote connection for the audio out to the sound system. has worked flawlessly for us on multiple occasions. Sure beats running a mic cable with a DI box. I can not say enough nice things about my customer service rep. The is there to help me every time i have a licensing question, he also understood clearly how K-12 differs from an Enterprise, especially around budgeting. Implementing was a breeze over inTune, i could not have asked for an easier integration!

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

1. Really really dislike the update process for the for the app (not the streamer client). In the middle of logging in it pops up and tells you that you need an update, ok, sure, it would be nice if it waited until after you log in, 99% of the time if disrupts the login. When you hit cancel for the update it says do you want to exit the program... what a poor choice of words, makes it sound like you are exiting splashtop, not the updater. It sucks how many times when i am in a hurry that it pops up and i pause to think about that. It would be better to have a banner in the app that says you have an update and you click that instead of being intrusive.

2. Needs a 'silent' connection option for the streamer. There are times when we need to covertly monitor student activity for safety concerns or school rule violations. It is not possible with splashtop, each connection pops up with a 'so and so is not accessing your computer' this tool would be perfect for k-12 schools if it wasn't for that.

3. big wish, it would be nice if you actually had a dos box, instead of sending commands to dos.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote support. Student laptops are tough to manage since students are constantly moving all over campus. Splashtop lets us connect whenever we want wherever they are. I have been at work 3 hours and have used Splashtop 4 times to solve simple problems in minutes.

  ### 9. Effortless Remote Access, Constantly Evolving

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason R. | Never used it dont know why its here????, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

There are differenr packages depending on busi ess needs, I just wanted to be able to provide a link to clients rather than having to actually deploy on target computers as thqt limits the number od co.puters I can use.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

There are other packages that would be suitable for me but they are a little more pricey than I can justify

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing me to maintain the full green aspect of my business which is to reduce mt carbon footprint by allowing remote access to clients computers when needed.

  ### 11. Splashtop, great solution to a remote access world.

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Anytime I need to have remote access, always there to use, connections are solid, and a great option if you're needing a remote access program with a stable backend. We use the program daily, and implementation is pretty solid.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

There has been a time or two where a system will be rebooting, and show offline, but a good refresh helps that.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps troubleshoot a ton of problems that we run in to on the IT side, drivers missing, missing printer, diagnose disk errors, as long as we can remote into the PC to check issues and have a internet connection, works like a charm.

  ### 12. Less expensive than competitors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sally B. | Software consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

This review is for a small business with multiple offices in different locations (states). System is used for remote access to various devices by managers while travelling. Also used by IT staff to check devices are configured correctly. Splashtop works really well for us.

Competitor used previously had blocked ports, Splashtop works much better (if all computers are for a single company).

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Maybe some more instructions, but for what we need to do, we are very happy so far!

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

System is used for remote access to various devices by managers while travelling. Also used by IT staff to check devices are configured correctly.

**Reviewed by:** Laura S. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Splashtop is a reliable, reasonably priced and easy to use remote access platform

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

There isn't anything I have found that I don't like so far

**Recommendations to others considering Splashtop Remote Access:**

This product has worked much better for me after years of using LogMeIn. I had serious frustration with LogMeIn at the beginning of the pandemic lockdown and did not get any resolution dealing with their support. I switched to Splashtop at a fraction of the cost of LogMeIn and have been exceptionally happy with it since.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop gives me reliable access to my clients' computers to perform my services easily. I seldom have any issues connecting or staying connected.

  ### 15. it is working great.

Affordable Pricing
Compared to other remote desktop solutions (like TeamViewer or LogMeIn), Splashtop is competitively priced and offers good value for money.

The free version is limited to personal use on a local network and lacks advanced features found in the business plans.

Occasional Compatibility Issues
Some users report issues with specific configurations, especially in large enterprise networks or with VPNs.

No Built-In File Sync
While it supports file transfer, it doesn't offer real-time file syncing like some competitors do (e.g., Dropbox or OneDrive integration).

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

a lot, from windows to soft problems

  ### 16. Simple and easy Remote Access and Remote Assistance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric P. | IT Systems Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I love that I can quickly access all our computers remotely, whether or not the user is logged in. It works quickly and easily. Installation is also quite simple: just go to the deployment URL, download, and run the installer. I use it frequently to help our employees at their various locations.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Sometimes, remote computers appear offline even though a user is logged in and connected to the Internet. I have to instruct them to restart the computer to gain access.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having multiple locations and half our team being work from home, Splashtop lets me see all the screens of our users wherever they are. This lets me see problems they're having, and walk them through training. Additionally I can access remote servers as needed. It lets me manage and monitor AV, and push Windows updates to remote machines.

  ### 17. Useful remote access tool.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Its a quick and easy to install tool that allows you to remote onto any machine with little limitations. The phone app is also very useful. Easy to integrate, and implement. Can be used every day. Customer support responds quickly.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Sometimes the client end software bugs out and removes itself from a listing. Normally its just annoying but it can be extremely disruptive if the client is not nearby or is a system that is constantly in use.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to remotely access computers at any time or anywhere.

  ### 18. Splashtop Business and Streamer as an important tool in our day today work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ronel A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

It works great for remote access and it has a very fair cost practice compared to other platforms. I find it simple to use and it loads fast.
We use it every day to access our development and testing computers.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Transferring files could improve some; although recent updates are much better at this.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have many computers we need access to; testing terminals, servers, and office computers. Most of these machines are meant to be use by multiple people in the office and after COVID this tool became even more helpful granting access while working from home.

  ### 19. Strong and reliable remote access tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop's Business level remote access is vital for our team and gives us easy to use device and group lists as well as provides us with vital tools like deployment packages for fast, effortless deployment. Combining it with their SOS support tool for daily use makes it indispensable.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

It can conflict with other remote access tools being used by other vendors on client machines, and it does not contain a list of Most Recently Used codes for when you're quickly shuffling between single connection machines.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop allows us to deploy remote unattended access installers to our clients so we can troubleshoot issues whenever they arise even if clients are not physically able to provide us with traditional access.

  ### 20. Best value remote software around.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

The ease of use and ability to add multiple PCs on a single account is very convenient.
I'm able to manage Mutiple users in a single place and they have also made that pretty striate forward.
Priced lower than most others and just as fast on slow connections.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

The only issue with splash top is that on slow internet connections it's not as fast as other options but those other options cost way more.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to work from home with ease.

  ### 21. It is a good product

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I use this product daily to log into systems and it is very user friendly. It is easy to download on to a new device and to set up. It is very simplistic.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop can at times be a little slow, only 2 users can be in the system at a time and only one working on the system, and occassionally some features will get to a little off such as calabration on the screen or once you type in the on screen chat things do not work correctly. But the chat is not necessary for my team and the calabration is rare.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing multiple users to access one device.

  ### 22. Very easy to use and keep organized!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel E. | Product Support Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Really easy to use and organize, especially groups in Streamer.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

It would be great if we could have a recently used list of SOS connection codes, for those times where you might have more than one session open and accidentally close one of them.

The insert/type-over behaviour of the insert key is sometimes inconsistent during sessions.

Copy/paste/clipboard behaviour is sometimes inconsistent during sessions.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick and easy remote access when needed.

  ### 23. Great lightweight remote control tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Dedicated application for both desktop and mobile devices. It provides much information like who is logged on, last active timestamp, IP address, etc.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Every once in a while there are connectivity challenges. But I use multiple remote control applications and that seems to be the case with every single one.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Splashtop give me the ability to connect to machines at a remote location and it is feature rich.

  ### 24. This is a review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen B. | Product Support Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

It is generally responsive and does what you expect a remote access product to without weird video scaling issues and device control problems

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

The software has occasional crashes, and sometimes does not properly sync the clipboard

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to see what the user is seeing for cases where they are unable to describe the problem. It is also good for providing walkthroughs of various application functions

  ### 25. Great Remote Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew D. | Associate Manager, IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

It is very easy to send instructions for the end user to join a remote session to complete any assistance needed

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

One downside to have the hands free client installed on a remote machine is that it prompts you to login. Sometimes I would like to just start the session and be under the current user.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a lot of remote workers and the ability to join when a user is having issues with anything on their machine saves me time. Prior, there would be back and forth or end users trying to describe the issue. Being able to see it allows me to solve the issue more efficiently.

  ### 26. Works well for the most part

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop is easy to install and use. I only use it to access programs on multiple computers (think remoting in for work) so I know nothing about the additional features it has.

I love that I can transfer files between computers and easily print to my printer.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

I don't like that after I print, it doesn't reset so my clients print to nowhere the next time they use their computer. The program should never leave remnants behind like this on others' computers.

It super slows down the computer that I remote into. So to run a QuickBooks report that should take a few minutes, it can take a half hour. I click on wrong things because it can lag so bad. When I remote into my own personal computer, it actually locks up due to the lag.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So we don't have to buy the new and way overpriced QuickBooks, which would add to our clients' bills. Saves us both money. $3,000 yearly just so I can review their work and do their payroll reports is ridiculous. Plus, every now and then I do tech support with clients. This way I am able to see what is happening instead of the client just explaining it to me.

  ### 27. Easy to Use, Responsive Support That Listens

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Ease of use and support team takes feedback to create new features.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

it is not as robust in managing large teams that need fine access to various groups

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Endpoint support

  ### 28. Splashtop checks almost all of the boxes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | Senior Manager of System Administration, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Splashtop works from your phone, computer, or tablet. And you can remote into a phone, computer, or tablet. With the endpoint add-on, it's almost as robust as Kaseya. They're adding more and more features all the time and has the potential to be THE go-to remote control endpoint management software.

**What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?**

Two things about Splashtop I wish would change -
1) Remoting in without notification. There are times IT is tasked with monitoring an employee. Splashtop does not offer an option to connect without notifying the endpoint.
2) I'd like to be able to add techs to multiple computer groups. Right now I can only assign one tech to a group. So all techs are assigned to one group and all endpoints are in that group.

**What problems is Splashtop Remote Access solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have traveling users, and Splashtop allows us to help our users wherever we all are. The ability to remote in using the website is killer since I can't always have my laptop on me.
The one-to-many endpoint feature is valuable, as is the software patching. The new Splashtop brings the possibility of losing a few software packages in favor of this one.
