It’s easy to use, customize, and collaborate on, and the outputs can be adapted to fit a company’s culture while still staying up to date from a compliance standpoint.

Nothing that I dislike, but I usually have to re-order the policies for better flow, since they are listed alphabetically.

**What problems is SixFifty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SixFifty provides up-to-date compliance--not only for me as a consultant/practitioner to advise, but by having water-tight documents for any state.  It allows the business to earn value as a trusted partner to our clients.

It’s easy to use and user friendly, and it’s made my biggest pain point much more manageable (compliance).

I don’t like how it formats my responses to the guided questions. If I could add bullet points, special text, or images  at the point of answer the questions, it would make my life easier

This is a stretch but the process of moving documents into folders could be a little more streamlined.

SixFifty solves the issue of having to be an expert in all things, all states, all cities, all counties, all municipalities, you get the picture.

sixfifty is easy to use.  The layout is intuitive, the benefits are fantastic and the handbook creator is simple, friendly, and intuitive.

It would be nice if the search feature included AI plus references to sites where labor laws come from.

**What problems is SixFifty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The first was we needed an updated handbook.  It also solves the problem of legal updates to both handbooks and the addenda.  It also helps with research, policy templates, and the library's are amazing!

**What do you like best about SixFifty?**

The fact that they are updated regularly with the most recent legal changes is a game changer. Having all the most updated laws that affect HR in one place and knowing that their software is backed by a law firm is huge. The implementation was easy, two quick training sessions and our team is up and running. We plan to house all our templates in SixFifty. I especially like the feature of the client portal. So far the customer support has been superb. 

I'm sure our frequency of use will increase exponentially as our team gets more comfortable with it.

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

We just signed up for SixFifty and started using this so I haven't seen anything that I dislike. The ease of use is amazing.

Just knowing that we have the latest updates to employment law, and having an interactive library of HR templates.

The ease of creating a handbook and updating it as state policies change. I get good customer support and implementation was easy.

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

I haven't experienced a downside yet. Maybe that you have to purchase each state as you add employees in that state. I only added that because a dislike was required.

We have just started to hire in other states so SixFifty has helped with state policies, updates to handbook, state hiring consideration and set-up.

Handbook builder & Policy docs are easy to generate and in-line editing makes the process even easier. The State checklists are a life saver and great when assisting companies enter into new states or confirm state policy requirements.

There isn't anything that I dislike about their system. If I HAD to pick something - I wish the State Check-lists could be easily re-branded instead of everything being branded in SixFifty colors.

SixFifty Employment Docs is helping us stay compliant with evolving state regulations, streamline handbook creation and updates, and provide general HR guidance. Their tools ensure that our policies remain legally sound and up to date, saving us time and reducing the risk of non-compliance. This allows us to focus more on supporting our employees and business operations while having confidence that our documentation aligns with current employment laws.

**What do you like best about SixFifty?**

This is software is super easy to use, consistently updated with the latest legal requirements and makes my job SO much easier! Getting started was a snap and the chat feature helps me get support quickly when I need it. I truly use this product daily in my roll!

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

I wish is was easier to hop between my comments inside documents instead of scrolling. Sometimes my clients have a hard time getting into the portal the first time and it's challenging for me to implement followup with them since I don't have access to their registration link.

**What problems is SixFifty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly it's the time I was putting into independently researching the employment laws of each state and then writing an appropriate policy. This software saves me hours per week.

**What do you like best about SixFifty?**

Sixfifty has so many amazing compliance resources that its completely transformed how we operate. Previous to Sixfifty, there was a lot of manual tracking of policies and law changes to be done. It's assuring knowing that we can hop into the tool and know that the information is up to date to assist us in keeping ourselves and clients compliant. I appreciate that the language in the handbook and agreements are also a lot more clear and less stuffy than other compliance support tools. 

Their sales team is also a pleasure to work with. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Nothing I dislike, though would be cool to have varying "tones" to choose from in the handbook creation - it would just help companies share their personality a little more!

The customization features are fantastic. I also like that the software provides state specific guidelines for most everything, since we have clients all over the country.

I don't have much to add here, we use the software when we need a new policy, handbook, or form and have never had an issue.

We have ease of mind when helping our clients with a policy, termination, or form, knowing that the software is providing up-to-date information. The state specific information has been immensely helpful.

**What do you like best about SixFifty?**

SixFifty has created an intuitive platform that really produces quality work that I feel proud to put my brand on and support. I really like the additional explanations as I feel they proactively address questions relating to each document or policy in an easy to understand way. It helps me stay up to date while keeping my documents/policies up to date! Win win!

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

Its hard to get excited about employee handbooks in general, but that's at no fault of SixFifty. In fact, I feel the platform has given me some enthusaism toward the process.

**What problems is SixFifty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SixFifty has saved me a tremendous amount of time in handbook and policy creation. The regular updates are also a huge help. As I sit to complete this survey, I realize the amount of time they save me in keeping everything up to date. I have so much confidence in the updates that I have really been able to use my brain power for things other than policy research.

**What do you like best about SixFifty?**

SixFifty has built an easy to use platform to stay on top of the constantly changing laws across the US.  They monitor and then notify when changes are needed, show the redline changes to make it easy to incorporate into documents.  They also provide all the details to hire an employee in a new state, quickly update documents to reflect the expansion all done with a few mouse clicks and minimal time.  

The best part of the system is you do not need to be a lawyer or Sr. Level HR team member to mange and stay on top of document changes.  A HR Generalist or Admin is able to do what is needed to ensure the business is fully compliant and has all they need to meet not only the legal requirements and also fit the culture of the business.

SixFifty takes the pain out of HR compliance and maintaining up to date docuements.

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

The only downside for me is they are limted to the US only.  They recently made extensive changes to the platform that addressed any prior dislikes.

**What problems is SixFifty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to provide documents for company based in multiple states to ensure they are compliant across their workforce.  Redline updates to current documents with version control to allow you to compare and revert back to other documents. I always know the offer letter, indenpendt contractor agreement and other onboarding and offboarding documents meet the law where the employee is based without needing to take time and extra money to have outside counsel draft the documents.

The platform is easy to use and walks you through the steps; state by state.  With the new updates we are able to integrate some tweaks into the documents for use specifically for our business.  We use the platform on a weekly bases.

With continues updates, we have not found anything we do not like about the platform.

It is nice to have the platform to rely on when needing to send out agreements across several states, and know that we are in compliance.

**What do you like best about SixFifty?**

I am a human resources consultant and I regularly rely on SixFifty Employment docs to keep my clients up-to-date and legally compliant on employee handbooks and people-related policies.  The website is intuitive and easy to use and the information is detailed and comprehensive. This is an invaluable tool no HR practitioner should be without.

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

The flipside to being detailed and comprehensive and legally compliant is the need for thorough editing and revision. This requires time on the user's part to review every word for relevance to the company and issue being reviewed and ease of understanding for the company. Of course, this should be a standard practice regardless, but I've found it takes time to make edits to ensure plain English understanding.

**What problems is SixFifty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SixFifty employment docs allow me to go right to the specific policy, form, or information needed. This is a huge time saver by having all of the information I need in one place.

**What do you like best about SixFifty?**

SixFifty is an excellent product that allows organizations to ensure compliance with various state and federal laws and regulations.  It is a product that I have not seen before but has been incredibly valuable as a People Operations leader for an organization distributed remotely accross the US with a wide variety of state laws to be aware of.  My favorite feature is being able to select a universal document which customizes policies to the most stringent rules we could be required to follow.

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

There are very few downsides to SixFifty. If I had to select anything it would be that it's a bit cumbersome sometimes creating documents in SixFifty and then converting them over to our company specific formats.

**What problems is SixFifty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SixFifty employment docs is helping us, as a small business without internal legal counsel and operating in all US states, to ensure that we're in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

**What do you like best about SixFifty?**

The SixFifty system is an essential part of my business because it streamlines much of the policy work that my clients need. The ease of the system, the variety of the available items, and the speed with which the system creates what I need has allowed me to be more efficient and helped me service more clients.

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

The only downside I've found so far is that all of the documents come with a set of formatting that most of my clients don't really want included (largely because it increases the length of the documents quite a bit), which adds some effort on my side to remove those pieces.

**What problems is SixFifty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SixFifty really solves the issues that I focus on for my clients, including hiring in new states, legal best practices for terminations, as well as the other items needed to ensure that my clients have what they need to thrive.

**What do you like best about SixFifty?**

The system is very easy to use and has a great layout. As the documents are generated into MS Word, it is easy to make edits, add company brandings, and incorporate them into existing handbooks, and HRIS platforms. I have just been using Six Fifty for a few weeks, but it has already helped us increase our compliance. 

I think this platform is well suited for small to mid-sized businesses who are working in multiple states. 

The level of service and support has been excellent so far.

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

Everything has been really easy to use so far. My only wish, was that the system could generate a Universal handbook based on the states we employee people in, rather than a Universal handbook for entire country. This is a pretty minor issue, and with the way it is set up, it is easy to edit and customize to fit our needs.

**What problems is SixFifty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a Canadian based company that employees remote US sales staff spread across multiple states and Sixfifty has helped us standardize our handbook, onboarding and offboarding procedures to ensure compliance with US laws.

The most helpful part of SixFifty is the ability to tailor the reports to exactly what the organization needs. The new reserach function is a fantastic upgrade - allows a quick search by state on specific items! Also legal updates so that you can be prepared for upcoming changes.

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

If there was a way to download the information into excel rather than word for comparison work.

Currently using it for updates to employee handbook, a major compliance review, and new hire/termination info by state.

**What do you like best about SixFifty?**

We are a completely remote and distributed firm. I have always wanted a solution for us to be compliant in all the states where our employees reside and work without having to find attorneys familiar with the specific jurisdictions that affect us. SixFifty offers me peace of mind that we provide staff with accurate information and everything they're entitled to. The interface is easy to use, and I created several different documents within a week of signing up. I would recommend SixFifty to small companies that are facing the same kinds of complexities with a distributed workforce that we do.

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

The only downside of SixFity I can think of is that any formatting we do with our employee handbook (adding logos, etc.) must be redone with every iteration.

SixFifty allows us to ensure we provide accurate information to our remote and distributed staff, whether in the employee handbook, employment agreements, or offer letters.

**What do you like best about SixFifty?**

As an HR Consultant, SixFifty makes the legal and compliance landscape understandable and actionable. SixFifty works to make sure their data is up to day and accurate; they also have it well organized so that I can look up high-level information, like the headlines and summary of what state and federal regulations apply, and also drill down into the details with compliant policies, documents, and agreements.

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

There isnt anything that comes to mind that I dislike.

**What problems is SixFifty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staying up to date with compliance and legal updates, the monthly newsletter is incredibly helpful. Also, understanding what is required when bringing on an employee in a new state so that there are no surprises.

**What do you like best about SixFifty?**

It allows you the ability to have employement documents at hand without the need for comprehensive HR knowledge or background it make streamlined. Very intuitive.

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

I do wish that navigation to find the exact documents you are looking for was a bit cleaner and the ux design was a bit cleaner and brighter, but in all not a huge deal.

**What problems is SixFifty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves writing a employee handbook with companies with little understanding  what should be included in a handbook. It makes creates talking and culture building conversation on how individual orgs want to handle different policies and have them understand what there state does require.

**What do you like best about SixFifty?**

It is so easy to use! Everyone was so friendly and helpful throughout the sales process and the onboarding. It is kept up to date and the training is really helpful and easy!

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

Nothing at this point. So far it has done exactly what we need and more.

**What problems is SixFifty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rewriting our entire outdated handbook and we have since gone fully remote, so we hire in all states now. Harder to stay on top of it with only a team of 3 in HR.

I like the regular emails I receive directly to my inbox including topics I use everyday. I appreciate that sometimes they are reminders of things I need to think about and review. The relevant content is really helpful and I often share it with my team to review and understand as well!

I have yet to experience anything that hasn't been helpful from SixFifty

It's a constant refreshing reminder of things to keep on my radar. Compliance is a huge undertaking within the world of HR and I'll take any assistance / guidance I can get!

We can quickly draft needed documents that are easy to understand. The SixFifty team has been great in answering our questions. The SixFifty has saved us hours in writing documents and given us confidence that the policies we create are compliant.

**What do you dislike about SixFifty?**

There are still some features we're hoping SixFifty will build out in the future. The SixFifty team has been very open to feedback and we know the service will only. get better over time.

**What problems is SixFifty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Developing compliant multi-state policies for a remote team. We're able to be confident that we're in compliance with state laws for our current team. For recruitment, we use the SixFifty tools to evaluate how hiring in a new state will impact the company and make informed decisions during our hiring process.

Easily able to create all kinds of agreements within the software that avoid tons of outside counsel expenses.

There are a bunch of questions that need to be answered and can sometimes be confusing to understand what they're asking/implications.

Super easy to generate handbooks that employees love, hiring/employee offer letters, and other core documents without having to rely on outside counsel.

Would be amazing to be able to upload logos and color stays to make the docs branded.
