The system and root menus are consistent, which means I don’t have to re-learn things every time I use it. Being able to see updates and workflows from all users in one place also saves me from chasing team members for updates.

**What do you dislike about SIMPEL | Construction Management Software?**

It is quite an intensive learning process, getting to grips with the extensive features and figuring out which work for me took a while, but with use it became easier.

**What problems is SIMPEL | Construction Management Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is saving time looking in separate places for the information that's now collated in a single place. the offline feature also means we have no connectivity issues or waiting for it to load and not working during that period.

I find it really helpful to have all the information for multiple projects in one place. The induction process for operatives is very handy: they can upload their certifications themselves, and being able to sign up to RAMs on their phones saves a lot of paper admin.

**What do you dislike about SIMPEL | Construction Management Software?**

Having additional plant arrive on site after the initial set-up day is problematic, as it means an extra visit is required every time a new item of plant is delivered. The process for extracting plant check forms also needs streamlining, so it shows all plant scheduled for the week in one view, rather than generating separate forms for each individual plant item on each day.

Everything is in one place, so all users can access it at the same time. It’s easy to add eForms, and the traceability for subcontractors on site is really helpful.

It’s not really a dislike, but I would like the ability to add external users to specific folders or documents, especially when they’re working on our behalf.

It’s helping us control our documents, deliveries, and LOLERS better on site. It’s especially useful for keeping licences up to date, which is always a pain to chase with subcontractors

The ease of having all documents in one location, I don’t have to drag and drop what I need in to my saved folder on ipad or laptop.

It can be quite difficult to locate some forms if unfamiliar with the setup, the adding operatives to RAMS is very long winded and without knowing how to add them I would never had worked that out.

**What problems is SIMPEL | Construction Management Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its having all my forms and documents on me at all times and in one place, having a system to scan the QR codes for site entry and logging plant on site. It is still heavily reliant on the operatives signing in on them but much better than our old system.

I appreciate SIMPEL | Construction Management Software for its significant time-saving capabilities, particularly when handling inductions and accessing permits. The software makes permits easily accessible and efficient to track, which greatly enhances my workflow by reducing time spent on administrative tasks. I find the feature for raising tasks for subcontractors to be very valuable as it enables me to oversee task completion efficiently and highlights subcontractors who are less compliant, thereby contributing to maintaining a safe site environment. Overall, these features streamline various processes on the construction site, making project management more efficient and effective.

I think SIMPEL could benefit from better-suited dashboards. This aspect is currently being looked into with our SIMPEL liaison.

Using simple over the last year has helped me massively in the way I manage and record multiple projects that I’m running. Coming away from paper forms and having everything accessible to me from my phone or tablet on and off site has been a huge assistance and revolutionary in the way I manage and do my job.

I can’t say I dislike anything about Simpel maybe a few minor issues with daily plant checklists not being able to export and a few issues with QR codes early on but noting I dislike at all.

For myslef Simpel has solved the issue of paper forms being used and has made all company forms accessible from one place way place to access while on site and with clients. Recording and keeping track of workers and the progress on each individual site I’m running.

There’s a reason this software is called Simpel — because it really is simple to use. The system is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for everyone from site workers to project managers to navigate without confusion.

Beyond usability, Simpel offers a range of features that streamline how we manage safety, compliance, and communication across all TRN projects. It allows us to:

- Centralise documentation – SWMS, inductions, permits, and compliance records are stored in one secure place, reducing paperwork and confusion.

- Save time and increase efficiency – workers and subcontractors can complete inductions, upload licences, and update plant profiles before arriving onsite.

- Improve visibility and transparency – site teams and head office can track progress, review sign-offs, and ensure requirements are being met in real time.

- Support compliance – automatic reminders, expiry notifications, and standardised templates help ensure we meet WHS and legislative obligations.

Enhance communication – project teams can quickly relay updates, assign documents, and share safety alerts through the system.

On top of all this, the Simpel support team is always available to provide guidance, troubleshoot issues, and answer questions promptly, which means any challenges can be resolved quickly with minimal disruption to work.

**What do you dislike about SIMPEL | Construction Management Software?**

no system is perfect, and most of the negatives are not linked to the system directly. Based on common industry feedback from teams using Simpel, here are some points they find limiting:

- Initial setup can be time-consuming – getting subcontractors onboard, setting up company dashboards, and uploading documents can feel like extra admin at the start.

- Reliance on technology – if a worker has an older phone or poor reception, logging in, scanning QR codes, or completing inductions can be difficult. I would love to see the Simpel app updated and working, as this will save the workers also having to log in everytime they need to sign in and out.

- Learning curve for new users – while the system is user-friendly, some workers (especially those less tech-savvy) may still struggle at first.

- System glitches or slowdowns – occasional technical hiccups or system updates can cause frustration when teams are trying to sign in/out quickly.

- Subcontractor management – subcontractors of subcontractors don’t always follow the process, leading to gaps that site teams then have to chase.

In short: the dislikes are mostly around time, technology barriers, and onboarding subcontractors, rather than the system itself.

The fact that all documents can be stored in one central place greatly helps with collecting, tracking, and record keeping. It eliminates the issue of paperwork being misplaced or scattered across emails, folders, and desks. Everything from SWMS, inductions, permits, plant records, and licences are accessible in real time.

This not only saves us significant time but also ensures compliance, we can quickly demonstrate that all workers are inducted, all SWMS have been reviewed and accepted, and that plant and equipment records are up to date. It also improves communication between our project teams and subcontractors, as everyone can see the same information and updates instantly.

Another big benefit is accountability: Simpel makes it easy to track who has uploaded documents, who has signed off, and when things were last updated. That visibility reduces risk, keeps our projects moving smoothly, and gives confidence during audits or client reviews.

SIMPEL has been a great addition. The system is well-designed and has significantly improved our ways of working. It's intuitive, reliable, and helps keep everything organized across teams and projects. Communication and documentation have become much smoother, and the real-time updates ensure everyone is on the same page. Overall, a solid construction management solution that has made a noticeable difference in our operations.
Due to the ease of use and the level of support we received, we’ve had no issues with rolling the platform out to our site-based teams. It has also proved invaluable to our subcontractors who are using it to manage their own compliance.

Having real-time access to inductions, site records, and communication in one place has saved time and improved overall coordination. It’s made day-to-day site management smoother, more transparent, and easier to track.

Simpel gives me an easy and quick way to sign up and inducts my team for installation projects, this makes my job and a Project Coordinator a lot easier and saves me a great deal of time when setting up a project. I use induction systems every day and Simpel is by far one of the easiest and most user friendly systems for uploading SWMA and inducting workers with little to no fuss, this also makes integrating it into our system a lot easier to know who is inducted on what site and which installation technicians can attend a site on short notice. the customer support is also quick and very helpful when a problem arises which is hardly ever.

I wouldn't change anything i enjoy the system exactly how it is.

All the functionality needed in one platform. No need for integrations and promises by other parties that the data will flow into the one system. 

Our team have found the interface very intuitive and easy to use. Love the actionable dashboards. 

 For a complex platform, the rollout and implementation is incredibly well managed and easy.

The help guides are a bit out of date. They should create more videos to help guide people through the system.

How you export HSE observations.
Creating eForms take up so much time.
How you export incidents and how it looks like.
All the dashboards look so clunky and old
Site diaries cant be exported in bulk.
No AI automation for time efficiency
Doesn't look like SIMPEL invest much in its development. 
Visitor sign ins so complicated.
Cannot add additional string length on incident summaries.
No streamlined way of signing people in manually if they cannot log in their account.

**What do you like best about SIMPEL | Construction Management Software?**

The visibility of information, customisation of work practises and the incredible support we get in all facets of use.

It is intuitive to use, easy for workers to pick up, has an abundance of features, which are always been refined and added to.

Implementation was very quick and we were up and running within a couple of weeks, having useful input from projects.

**What do you dislike about SIMPEL | Construction Management Software?**

I can't think of anything that is 'disliked'. There are some things that could be amended for our use, but this is an off the shelf piece of software that ticks all our boxes, and isn't a bespoke and these items are really minor.

Visibility of data, reporting, management of sites, compliance, increased safety.

What I like best about SIMPEL is its centralised and streamlined approach to managing site operations.

**What do you dislike about SIMPEL | Construction Management Software?**

Sometimes the tool can be not so flexible, for example after opening the forms I can undo it anymore.

Eform is a great example, we had multiple issues with Eform regarding the check boxes and Renzo has been assisting us to amend the eform to a site specific form
