    Jenkins review by Himani S.
"Jenkins - Review: Jenkins is one of the best Continous development tools in the market. It can automatically run test jobs whenever you push your code to a repository. Hence easily, issues can be identified and even the code can run for dependency errors on a remote machine. provides accurate build logs for a particular job with regular success/failure email notifications to concerned users. Jenkins can integrate with almost any external system used for developing applications which means that you worry less about your tooling and more about delivering good code."

    CircleCI review by Conrad F.
"Continuous Integration made easy!: The integration of CircleCI with github is very seamless. It took little effort to add git repos to the circleci projects. Also the circleci interface is quite slick. For Jobs, you can easily tab between the Test Summary, Queue, Artifacts Configuration and Timing! I am using version 2.0. I can't compare to the previous version, but so far I have to say this is much much easier to setup and run from scratch, compared to say Jenkins on prem. Last but least, you can send the results (Pass or Fail) -- and the link to it on the circleCI site -- via a Slack channel :) "

Using Travis CI also keeps everyones code constant with the linter rules in place, and in the beginning helped with learning what in the code needs to be done before deploying it."

It has a clear user interface and good navigation on it. The platform is quite flexible and stands up for all your needs. TeamCity provides a good set of functions for a building of your project. Also you can control assembling the project and then test it. An excellent user guide, it is complete and understandable. Excellent acceptance tests, most of all I use them. "

"Amazing Product that suits all your needs: My personal best feature of the SQL Tool-belt is the fact that it has everything for everyone. From database administration such as server monitoring or backups, to development tools such as SQL Search and Dependency tracker, it makes all our tasks which usually take considerable amounts of hours to complete, seem so easy and ready in a couple of minutes. With SQL Compare, deployments that usually take hours to script and test now take a couple of minutes, having a rollback script included as part of the process to make every deployment as easy as possible. Reviewers say compared to Semaphore, Shippable is:

    More expensive

    Shippable review by Suresh S.
"Shippable can run on all kinds of servers, hosted on in-house: 1. Build on your own host - Developers can set up Docker containers on their own servers and run Shippable in there. So, you dont need to store your data in external servers, giving better security and savings. 2. Configuration file to describe builds - Builds are described in the shippable.yml file located in the root of your project. So, its more flexible and also can be stored in you code repository as it is just a plain-text file. That is, even the config code can be versioned and reviewed later. If you are coming from Travis CI, Shippable reads your .travis.yml file directly so you can try it out directly - this is a pretty nifty feature. 3. Docker integration - Shippable is built using Docker, a popular Linux container. It was originally built using it's own container but when that started to become too complex, they switched to using Docker. Since the beginning Shippable was different from other CI tools because while Shippable uses a container (Docker), traditionally CI tools have used virtual machines to manage their workloads. Running on docker means creating and destoring build environments are always a pleasure and there is no chance for any leftover from previous version. 4. It also supports testing against multiple runtimes, versions and environments for eg. different versions of the language, library and OS. So, it lets you test the code more thoroughly in many scenarios."

"Good for version management and push automation: We use cruise control to automate builds to different internal (and production) environments. We associate different branches with different environments and then when you click a button to build, you will build from the associated branch. Pretty straightforward and anyone can do it from a user standpoint."

PHPCI review by Administrator in Information Technology and Services
""Easy CI tool for Model, view ,Control of any syatem" : I setup PHPCI on my local 'cloud' (yes, I run my own cloud). It was fairly straightforward to setup. Once I got it up and going it took me a while to get an actual test to pass. I integrated with GitHub and the build result came out nicely, but the tests failed. As I didn't have a clear understanding of how PHPCI performed the actual unit tests, it took me a while to figure out what caused the failure. Regardless, it is now up an running nicely, and has been stable for weeks. I'd recommend at least giving PHPCI a try. * Clean smooth interface * YAML driven testing * Awesome integration with YAML * GitHub integration * Built in composer Basically, once I got the product up and running I was quite happy with it. It does continuous integration testing quite well. "

The Apache Gump continuous integration tool was the first one developed at the Apache Software Foundation. This allows gump to detect potentially incompatible changes to that software just a few hours after those changes are checked into the version control system.
