As a daily user, routing is one of the easiest features to use, from creating a route to editing a route. It is very efficient for maintaining fleet maintenance records. Adding admins, users or drivers is a breeze when using the platform. Implementing the company telematics policy with our company has been great due to the safety features. Integrating new users into the samsara platform to use on their daily routes has been an absolute breeze. The few times I have had to use customer support, they have been more than helpful and always solved my minute problem. **What do you dislike about Samsara?** The only downside I have found is the inability to change the maps from car routes to trucking routes. **What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main issue I was dealing with was driver safety. It really cuts down on guesswork and making excuses, and the customers can see the truck live. They can go run errands or whatever they need to do, knowing exactly when the truck will arrive. Samsara was so good, I praised it and managed to get our district and HR on board, and we switched over almost immediately. The interface is easy and intuitive, which was a big deciding factor for the switch. Also, the initial setup was extremely easy with great support from their reps, even across time zones. They are always a pleasure to talk to and easy to get a hold of, shipping out any needed parts quickly, which makes me feel like a priority. We have a person in charge of more detailed transportation items, and Samsara is super useful for him. But I don't get into it as much as maybe I need to. Addresses don't always show as I'd expect, but there are ways around that that require minimal effort. It's not very accurate. I'd like to see all the work orders in the maintenance spot, to be able to look at all of them. Like, if I want one unit, I wanna see all the outstanding work orders closed, completed, all that under one. They have improved it, but it still needs to go a little bit further. Also the email function need to be changed we have 5 Branches and I'm getting all the emails. There should be a way to filters emails per asset location. For example I work at one branch I don't need the maintenance reminders by email for the other branches. It causes a lot of wasted sorting through all the email notifications. In the reporting function I have used the AI function but it troublesome to organize with the filters may be a refresher would help. I would like to add more things on the status tab like waiting for registration etc. but I was told this is not possible The AI function to add invoice parts etc. sometime it adds too much info and unrelated data. **What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Samsara to consolidate vehicle tracking and maintenance into one platform, saving time and reducing hassle. It's a pretty decent intuitive system that anyone could learn and get a hand of. I'm able to find and assign drivers, check vehicles, and track assets easily. The way it categorizes information is pretty good, and its reporting capabilities are genuinely helpful. Being able to generate numerous reports has been a big help, and the general real-time reporting is probably the most helpful feature for me. **What do you dislike about Samsara?** There are a few ways Samsara keeps track of assets that I find a little confusing, especially when it comes to replacing certain equipment. I've had to rely a lot on the app, Samsara Fleet. We've had some issues where there have been bugs that pop up and linger for a set amount of time without being resolved, like not getting certain alerts anymore from DVIR defects. Sometimes, during data management, the license formation doesn't fully correlate with some of the devices we have, and it can be troublesome to figure things out as I have to go back and forth between different pages.
