RotaPlanner is a web-based application for building and sharing shift schedules for teams. It enables automation of rota creation by allowing users to input staff availability, shift requirements, and contracted hours to generate balanced weekly schedules, reducing time spent on manual adjustments. The tool supports recurring shifts for automatic application, real-time email notifications for changes, tracking of hours worked against contracted targets, and calculation of staff costs during schedule building to assist with budgeting. Schedules can be viewed in daily, weekly, or monthly formats, exported as printable PDFs, and shared with read-only access. It is designed for teams in sectors such as cafes, charities, non-profits, and general businesses requiring staff rota management.
