## About Rocket Zena
ASG-Zena is a robust, enterprise-wide workload management solution for distributed operations environments that support “event-based” scheduling as well as traditional time and date-based scheduling methodologies. ASG-Zena provides non-invasive integration of legacy applications, ERP, and newer, “message aware” environments such as .NET and J2EE that offer advanced IT process automation. From a single console, users can manage workloads and several scheduling points across multiple platforms, including Windows , as well as multiple UNIX and Linux operating environments and on the AS/400. ASG-Zena improves efficiency and reduces costs. It also offers exception-based management, a highly scalable component-based architecture, fault tolerance, role-based security, and graphical drag-and-drop workload definition.

**What do you like best about Rocket Zena?**

It was very helpful to run/trigger mainframe jobs based on the successful completion of Zena jobs in distributed side for record balancing check

**What do you dislike about Rocket Zena?**

setup only took more times for the first time user

**What problems is Rocket Zena solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our projects, we had to verify the records count from the file received from external partner into mainframe environment as new GDG file. So we setup new zena jobs to trigger each time when ever new file landed on the specified folder, Zena jobs processed those file and capture the records count. Once it is completed, corresponding mainframe job triggers after Zena job completed. Then Mainframe starts processing those files and verify the recount count whether it matches the same count between distributed and legacy side before sending the file for further processing
