Ren'Py is a visual novel engine that helps you use words, images, and sounds to tell interactive stories that run on computers and mobile devices that can be used as both visual novels and life simulation games.

**What do you like best about Ren'Py?**

Interesting way to get access to .apks. Decent download times and not a ton of room taken up after the fact. Accessing what is necessary can be a breeze and editing is fairly smooth. Great for a start-up/ low-level business.

**What do you dislike about Ren'Py?**

Hard to find more legit applications. Which makes it a bit less desirable overall. The program can help smaller companies grow but consumers have to wade through some murky waters to find the pearls hidden within.

**Recommendations to others considering Ren'Py:**

If this is the only way to find what you're looking for, it's not the worst solution in the world. There are many pros and they can outweigh the cons. Don't let the less desirable issues bog down the implementation of the software needed. Ease of use will help in the long run.

**What problems is Ren'Py solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I found this to be a quicker dropbox-esque cloud. It's really only for .apks but having that distinction helps streamline the whole process. Which is great for the clientele wanting to find a certain app or product.

**What do you like best about Ren'Py?**

The cross-platform support is excellent, and the engine is easy to customize with a little bit of Python.

**What do you dislike about Ren'Py?**

Missing some nice-to-have built-in features.

**Recommendations to others considering Ren'Py:**

Look at some of the open source Visual Novels written with Ren'Py for inspiration on some of the incredible things you can do with it.

**What problems is Ren'Py solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a solid engine for building Visual Novel games, and I've used it to build a couple different ones now.
