Yes, it does a great job of supporting multiple monitors.  I have two monitors and I often support a user with four monitors.  I am able to switch between each of their monitors individually, view all four in a single window and I can place 2 of the four monitors on each of my screens seamlessly.

Ye, but you can only view one at a time. You can however, easily switch back and forth in the GUI.
