"Atera RMM Makes a One-Man Shop Run Smoothly"
5/5
What do you like best about Remote Monitoring and Management?

Atera’s RMM is what makes a one-man shop workable. Automated patching keeps the fleet current without me touching each machine, and remote control gets me onto a PC within seconds instead of a drive across town. Monitoring and alerts sit in the same place as the helpdesk tickets, so a problem and the fix do not live in two systems. It has been reliable. I do not babysit the platform. What do you dislike about Remote Monitoring and Management?

Some issues require site visits which have nothing to do with RMM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Computer Geeks of North Carolina and Atera"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Remote Monitoring and Management?

We've been using Atera for the better part of about 10 years now. I would say that their ticketing platform has come a long way since then. It's much more intuitive. Atera as a whole is flexible; more so now than ever before. As a legacy partner, we are getting the value out of our licensing for sure. Support is phenomenal as we have dedicated partner resources and everyone we've ever dealt with has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote Monitoring and Management?

While there are some hiccups with Splashtop, I have a backup solution just in case, but the Splashtop integration works 95% of the time. It's still annoying when it drops, even though the workstation says it's online. We tried Copilot licensing through Atera early upon release, but it didn't function as we expected. We got up with support, who fixed the issue, but we haven't really dove in with regards to using AI with Atera because of the experience we had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use RMM With Strong Patching, Scripting, and a Central Device View"
4/5
What do you like best about Remote Monitoring and Management?

Atera was easy for our ICT team to pick up and gave us a really good central view of our devices. Having monitoring, remote access, patch management, automation and asset information in the same platform made day-to-day support much easier. The patching and scripting tools were especially useful and saved us a lot of time managing endpoints across the organisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote Monitoring and Management?

hile Atera worked well for our core RMM needs, some areas felt less mature as our requirements grew. Reporting and customisation could be more flexible, and patch management did not always provide the level of detail or control we wanted. We also found that some newer functionality received significant focus while parts of the core platform could still benefit from refinement. Overall, it remains a capable platform, but there are areas where larger or more complex ICT environments may start to feel its limitations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stable, Clean, and Easy Monitoring with Built-In AI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Remote Monitoring and Management?

Overall a very stable platform, easy to add new monitoring agents (which are free!). While I don't agree with all their design choices, the interface is clean and easy to use. The SNMP and ping monitoring of devices which are not supported by an agent is a nice bonus. AI is built-in on the entire ecosystem and responds based on knowledge base articles that we created ourself (either internal only or externally visible for the customer). What do you dislike about Remote Monitoring and Management?

I don't always agree with their UI design choices. Tabbed tickets are both a positive and a negative. It's easy to keep track of tickets you're working on but at the same time it makes that "ticket bar" look cluttered very fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A practical way to coordinate technicians, users, and infrastructure work"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Remote Monitoring and Management?

The combination of Remote Monitoring and Management, Ticketing & Help Desk, and Patch Management is where Atera becomes genuinely useful for us. I no longer need a technician to maintain a separate spreadsheet of devices that still need attention and then spend time matching that list against open incidents and inventory records. When a machine goes offline, starts showing performance issues, or fails to install a patch, that information stays tied to the environment and to the support work around it. The IT department plans also bring RMM, ticketing, the service portal, automation, and Windows, macOS, and Linux support into the same workflow, which matters when the infrastructure is spread across different locations and device types. IT Automation Profiles have been especially helpful for turning repetitive maintenance into planned work, instead of something people do only when they remember. We use them for restarts, temporary-file cleanup, restore points, script execution, routine maintenance, and update policies. That same flexibility also makes it easier to scale a bad configuration, which we learned during an office expansion. We initially applied the same profile to devices with very different roles. Regular workstations behaved as expected, but two machines running overnight processes restarted during a window that made no sense for them. Nothing was technically wrong with the automation; the mistake was ours for treating every endpoint as if it had the same operational context. After that, we separated the profiles by device group and defined maintenance windows much more carefully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote Monitoring and Management?

File handling during remote support could still be smoother. When a technician only needs to drop a small installer or package onto a device, I’d prefer a more direct transfer process that doesn’t require launching a full remote session and potentially disrupting the user. It’s not a major limitation, but it happens often enough that it becomes part of the technician’s routine instead of just an occasional inconvenience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Atera boosts productivity with automations, WhatsApp, and reports"
5/5
What do you like best about Remote Monitoring and Management?

The ticket section saves a lot of time thanks to automations. The WhatsApp integration is quite useful and the interface is very intuitive and original. Additionally, with the daily, weekly, and monthly reports, a lot of time is also saved, which increases productivity and performance in other areas. Atera's support has helped us a lot in various sections, especially in asset inventory. As for the price, it is totally worth it for what it offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote Monitoring and Management?

I don't see any disadvantages to using Atera; for me, it's all advantages: greater efficiency and better performance, all thanks to AI. The only thing I don't quite like is the SNMP section, because I feel it still needs improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Atera Streamlined Our Workflow with All-in-One Ticketing, Monitoring, and Remote Access"
5/5
What do you like best about Remote Monitoring and Management?

Daily work has felt far more organized since we adopted Atera. Tickets, monitoring, remote access, and asset information are all connected in one place, rather than scattered across separate systems. Because everything is tied together, technicians can move from identifying an issue to resolving it much faster, without jumping between tools. Overall, the platform saves time throughout the workday and makes the workflow feel more streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote Monitoring and Management?

Some of the more advanced capabilities require a bit of training before I can use them confidently. I’d also like to see more flexibility in the custom dashboard layouts. In addition, a few of the reports needed extra configuration to get them set up the way I expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Atera: All-in-One IT Management with Strong Integrations, Automation, and ROI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Remote Monitoring and Management?

What I like most about Atera is that it provides a very complete platform for managing our IT devices in one place. The UI is easy to understand, and it gives the team clear visibility into computers, software, updates, alerts, and remote support without having to jump between multiple tools.

Integrations are another big plus. Atera connects with other platforms and tools, which streamlines the technicians’ workflow and reduces manual effort. We use it to automate updates, monitor devices, and improve how we support end users.

Performance has been solid overall. The platform is stable, and the remote access and monitoring features help us respond faster when issues come up. It also helps us prevent problems before they grow, since we can review alerts and device status ahead of time.

Another strong point is the pricing model and ROI. Because Atera is priced per technician rather than per device, it makes a lot of sense for growing IT teams and MSPs. It lets us manage more endpoints without driving up costs too much, which is a real advantage.

Onboarding and support have been positive as well. The platform isn’t difficult to learn, and the documentation and support resources are helpful when we need to understand a feature or configure something new.

One unexpected benefit is the AI feature, especially ROBIN AI. It can reduce technicians’ workload by assisting with responses, ticket handling, and general troubleshooting. From the end-user perspective, it can also improve the experience because issues can be handled faster and with better information.

Overall, Atera helps us save time, automate repetitive tasks, improve visibility, and boost the IT team’s effectiveness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote Monitoring and Management?

one area where Atera could improve is reporting. The reports are helpful, but they are not as automated or flexible as I would like. It would be great to have easier scheduled reports and more customization for clients or internal reviews.

Also, ROBIN AI is a strong feature, but it would be better if smaller teams could buy it too. If it is only available starting at 100 users, that makes it harder for small MSPs or IT departments to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Atera’s Tech-Seat Pricing and Remote Scripting Make Fleet Management Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Remote Monitoring and Management?

Originally, we began using Atera to manage our windows update patching schedules but now, I find it very useful to automate things via scripts. We manage several thousand signage screens, so it is essential that to be able to deploy scripts remotely to our players. Atera's pricing model suits us (tech seat) as other vendors who charge 'per agent' make it prohibitively expensive for us to operate. The tech seat model also gives us flexibility as our fleet grows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote Monitoring and Management?

Not many. Occasionally I think the interface can suffer from it being web based and not locally on a server in our network - so sometimes perhaps a script isnt updated immediately if its modified so a PC might have the old version run on it before the change updates. But generally its fine. Support is always helpful and responsive - the knowledge base is also good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive IT Management Made Easy with Powerful Add-Ons"
5/5
What do you like best about Remote Monitoring and Management?

Very complete product with the right add-ons you need to manage and secure an entire IT-environment.

They just don't have 1 add-on, like for example and anti-virus client, but an entire set of add-ons that enables you to manage, monitor and secure every aspect of an IT-environment.

Furhtermore the monitoring screen of Atera and all the add-ons are very detailed and reveal any aspect you need to be sure everything is running smoothly.

The way you can set-up and install Atera of the add-ons are very easy and don't need a lot of technical knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote Monitoring and Management?

If you want to share the control panel with a customer so that he/she can also monitor the entire it-environment requires an additional (login) license.

It would be helpfull that you could set-up a client access account at a lower price or you could generate a report of all the devices youre monitoring 24/7.

Helpfull would be that you couldn optionally choose what to include in the repoert, for example, Model of device, processor type, RAM, HD, which software is installed and such? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
