What do you like best?

This platform has helped fill the void of not being able to meet in person. There are a ton of customizable features and Remo is constantly pushing out bug fixes and new features! I talk about Remo so often and what it has the potential to do. On our campus, we have hosted over 60 events in just three monthsand have been happy to help create some sort of virtual community space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There are some accessibility issues with Remo. I have told the company of these issues and it is something they hope to improve but is not yet done. There are no auto-captioning options so you need to get an interpreter or live captioner for events where folks have hearing disabilities. Some functions are not read by a website reader, making it challenging for folks with visual disabilities. There is an option to increase some of the features temporarily, like capacity but it is very costly. Would be better if there was a way to only pay to increase for a singular event that is more affordable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you are interested, they have a trial account you can use to poke around and see if it fits your needs! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our main issue was how to connect virtually that wasn't Zoom or Teams. How can you create an autonomous experience that looks and feels like you left the home? Remo has done that for us! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I've used this platform for over 40 events this year. Attendees are always impressed because it is unlike any other virtual experience. The Remo team really listens to what their customers want add continue to improve the platform on a weekly basis. I always like how they host weekly tutorials for planners to learn new things and keep customers informed. I always get questions from attendees who want to use it for their own event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There a still some limitations, so I wouldn't say it necessarily works for every event. The setup can be a bit finicky for some attendees, so you need to be available to help them at the start of the event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I get emails from clients weekly that want my advise on using Remo. I always recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Very authentic virtual networking experience. User autonomy is the best! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Intuitive platform, great visuals, good customer service, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Limited "out-of-the-box" plans for businesses, limited floor customization options Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Consider consulting with a Remo representative to brainstorm ideas on exactly how this platform could be beneficial to your needs. Creativity is welcomed on this platform--while the "out-of-the-box" customization is limited, there is a good amount of creative power you can have over the platform as long as you have the resources to invest in customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I work at an higher education institution and this platform has helped us work on reimagining our brick & mortar events (i.e. career fairs, orientation, maybe event commencement) in the pandemic environment. Some benefits to highlight are:

- The ability to recreate the "human interaction" in the virtual realm

- The ability to utilize the platform functions for more than basic meetings (i.e. whiteboards for brainstorming/icebreakers, billboards for promotion)

- The familiar "feeling" that the main layouts have to meet the customers' expectations from events such as conventions and panels Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Remo is a REAL virtual event platform. It is changing how people, organizations, conferences, fundraisers and associations remotely connect.

The ease and versatility of Remo makes it easy for ANYONE to use, even those with limited technological skills. It actually ‘mimics’ a real face-to-face event. Breakout rooms are the BEST for networking. Hands-downs! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Like any virtual platform, it is dependent on the end-users connectivity. There is really nothing that Remo can do to help someone with a poor internet/wifi connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

EVERYEONE is looking for an easy and interactive platform to host events.

My entire business model is based on using Remo to host events of all kinds around the world. I train, host and moderate events so all clients need to do is 'get butts in seats', and we at eSAX take care of the rest! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I've used Remo as an attendee at a couple of virtual conferences so far, and it's been the best networking app so far. I've been impressed with the ease of use, flexibility and interactive features, including audio, chat and video conferencing. The app also has good customer service if there is an issue during the event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It can be a bit jarring when you're switching from table to table, as you will be placed front and center during someone's conversation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would recommend that you look at the different pricing features closely, so you don't buy more or less than what you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I've been using the conference app as an attendee during virtual meetings. Many of these meetings have been transitioned from in-person to virtual meetings because of COVID. The highlight of these meetings have been networking, and Remo has really filled that void in the virtual realm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Remo makes video meetings fun because you get to interact on a whole other level. There level of participation is like nothing I've ever seen, and people just smiled and had a great time during the whole event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I loved being able to see what table my friends were at, ok maybe that is the second-best thing I like. The best thing about REMO is being able to force everyone into the general session. Ringing bells at in-person events just does not work, REMO is like personally escorting everyone to their seats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It would be nice to be able to present different programming to each floor, breakout room style. (it may do this already, but I do not know how to get it to do that) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

We recommend doing a test run internally or attending another event on REMO just you can be familiar with the product as you are describing the experience of hosting an event on Remo to other people and your team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I love the exclusivity of the table settings. It worked so well for our small groups. Everyone loved hopping table during the "networking" section. Overall everyone's feedback was glowing - even from those who are not as tech-savvy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Leadership did several practice runs of showing all the presentations and live speaker view announcements. Since I was a super user, my video would begin where we left off in the practice run - even though everyone else's started at the beginning. Moving into Speaker mode was a bit sudden for the participants at tables. I wish the countdown was longer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Make sure you have a solid game plan - Remo has done a great job of building you a space, so make sure you are properly prepped to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are solving the obvious problem: maintaining team cohesion and connection when our teams are spread across multiple states. The social benefit of utilizing Remo for this purpose was palpable, especially for our people-driven employees. The company felt more unified after months of individual quarantine. What do you like best?

We have used REMO for a number of events both for external User Forum's and internal product launch and games. We have found the technology easy to use and the flexibility to do the programing of our events was excellent.

We really enjoyed the ability to network and move from table to table. ZE Staff enjoyed this platform and various departments are now looking at creating internal events. We are also looking at using REMO for our 2021 customer, partners and lead generation events.

I have been so impressed that I have already recommended it to large enterprise organizations and to some school teachers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

We would like to see the ability to record the event so that we can get transcripts.

Wider selection of floor plan ie theatre style - two people at a table as an option.

Ability to have more than 4 hours - even if we can pay a bit extra as we wanted 4.5 hours for an event.

We would of liked to see a better resolution for the presentation part. Technically some people were having problems with connecting at tables with their mic and camera. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We wanted to have a platform that allows us to be better engaged with our global staff (Canada, London UK, Houston, TX and Singapore). We wanted to have a platform that will enable to have an event with a networking session afterwards - for customers, prospects and partners.

We wanted a platform that allows us to bring people to the "stage" to quickly present then go back to their table.

We wanted to have a platform that allows us to showcase multiple speakers, presentations and videos Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I love the ability to mimic an in-person conference in many ways, the ability to broadcast to all attendees and capture their undivided attention when needed, the improved flexibility to set different tables sizes for different sponsorship levels, and the networking and conversation-friendly environment that the tables provide. I also love the fact that the attendees have the freedom to move around and explore, but I can reach them all easily with an announcement or presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There is no effective way to collect lead information when using the tables as a virtual expo. It would be a wonderful tool to have attendees be able to visit our expo on Floor 2, go from table to table to meet different sponsors, and be able to share their email or contact info with those providers with only a click, like using scanners, QR codes, or even old-fashioned sign-up. lists at a typical in-person expo. This should be simple. I also would love to be able to incorporate more things into the Whiteboard to allow providers in the expo to use them more effectively as digital expo tables - animated gifs, allowing the whiteboard to remain open even when the rep steps away, etc.

Another huge issue for us is the fact that when using the "Share Video" option during a presentation, the video is not recorded in the recording of the presentation. That means if we want our recording to show the video (for example, if a sponsor wants to show an intro video during their breakout session), our only option is to have them Share Screen to share the video. That leads to less high Audio quality and the person sharing screen cannot mute themselves during the video. This creates unreasonable limitations.

A timer with an audio feature, like a chime that can be set when there are two minutes left, would be very useful for helping sponsors and speakers stay on track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Although there might be a slight learning curve for the less-than-tech-savvy, this platform is very user-friendly and effective for going beyond the typical teleconference meeting or webinar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We usually have 6-8 conferences per year. Webinars have helped us continue our education and reach goals this year, but they are not a perfect solution for sponsors who want to reach attendees in an expo-like format, to discuss their business, answer questions and collect leads. Remo is an inspired combination of a webinar-style presentation format that can provide our education content and allow for breakout sessions, and the expo-tables that can allow for small conversations all occurring at once. The ability to have bridged events allows us to have simultaneous breakout buildings, each presenting a session in a different language, or discussing the needs of a different group. What do you like best?

Remo was made for events, not meetings. The ease of use, is very intuitive once guests have an understanding of what to expect upon entering a building.

Everything we do "FEELS" like an event which is so important for the events we run....its not just another Zoom call. Along with this, the customization of each event is special. Each time you attend an event on Remo...you could be in a completely different setting.

We also love the Remo Community, a place where we can communicate directly with other users to ask questions, learn about new features (which are coming all the time) and connect with others for potential collaboration.

The Whiteboards at each table are also unique to Remo (in our research anyway), anything you want can be embedded and it is amazing for all our events, especially "trade show" type events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The tech specs can be challenging, especially if people are used to using tablets/mobile on other platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Remo is for events, there is no other way to say it. Most people are still trying to convert software meant for meetings for their event us, like converting "a board room into an event hall".

Our most common comment from event attendees is along the lines of, "I actually felt like I was at an event"

If you run events, you need to have Remo! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We recently had a Virtual event to replace an Annual in person event. We were able to have guests and entertainment from all over North America..

The reach of our programs (social programs for the Autistic community) has stretched well beyond our city limits, we have had members from as far away as Belgium (we are in Canada) attend programs.

Our events are better than anyone else's...the person to person engagement is not matched on any other virtual platform. Our sponsors have actually commented directly saying the dollar value for sponsorship of our Virtual events beats sponsorship at in-person events by a mile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Remo has been the closest thing that we've found to in person networking on a virtual platform. It can be used to engage your audience on so many different levels. You can facilitate one on one networking and put on dynamic presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

At times I find the tech support a little challenging. I'm a fairly confident user, but for those who are first time users there has been challenges with getting sound and video to work. It would be great if there was an FAQ that was specific to sound and video. I think it would also be great if you could have an option to pick and choose your features. E.g. more sponsor banners (with a smaller group of people) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Everyone really misses the in person events. Remo allows people to have similar discussions on a virtual platform and eliminates some of the noise that you find when using other platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Great for participants. It has a natural networking feel to it. You can jump from table to table. Look out for that person you were looking for. There is a chat function for more private conversations.

Great for organizers, as you can force people into the conference setting at will. That actually gives a more captive audience for sponspors. Great promotion space for sponsors and vendors. The fact that organizers have an invisible seat, allowing them to get into full tables is key.

I've used it for three events, and will continue using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There isn't much to help the awkward networker. At real events you can have video, or food, or a bar that acts as a natural interaction point. If you are not great at entering a conversation, this setting is not going to be to your liking.

Two other things I would improve for participants - easy way to exchange contact information and ways to have a private conversation that other attendees can't pop in on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It's easy. I love it. Give it a try and see for yourself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I was looking for a good networking option that had a little more control for the particiapant. Zoom breakout rooms are awkward and main zoom rooms too big. Remo solved all that and more.

It's a great event tool at a great price. To me that is value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Being able to host speakers and events in a familiar "ballroom-with-a-stage" format has been successful for our organization. People love that ability to sit at table, move around tables, and it's easy to focus on the presentation when needed. Especially when we're not able to do in-person events during the pandemic, this has been a lifesaver for creating and growing connections between our members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Not mobile friendly, so we always need to remind people not to be on their phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Try it out! It's so fun, creates a buzz in our group, and people look forward to our Remo events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Hosting events and speakers with a true group gathering feel, where you can move about the room, easily see who else is there, move to a side table for a private chat, etc. Benefits are that our members have really enjoyed seeing each other in person and not having to be on yet another zoom call. What do you like best?

I love the lounge area where participants can pick a table and chat with each other, just like they would at an in-person event. We have tables for sponsors, allowing for a virtual exhibit area, and fun things like a video billboard. The whiteboard feature is really fun and handy for games during virtual social hours. We have made the floor plan look like the hotel where we normally host our event, and have links to "rooms" in the hotel (photos of actual rooms we usually use) that link to 3 different Zoom rooms and an online auction. We'll use Remo's presentation mode for our plenary speeches. After exploring several less expensive options, I discovered that you get what you pay for, and Remo is worth the expense! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I wish that a floor template was available for the plan that allows up to 10 sponsor banners. It's a little annoying to have to create (or pay someone to create) a custom floor plan when paying for that option. I wish that you could see a large screen share plus small videos in presentation mode, and that there would be an option for seeing everyone's video feed for break-out rooms. I wish that the lounge area worked better for those on mobile devices - even one of our folks on a laptop couldn't get it to work. I also wish it were all a little cheaper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It's so much more interactive than Zoom, has better support and fewer bugs than Airmeet, and is a great choice for hosting a virtual conference! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're solving the problem of boring online events that aren't interactive. We've realized the benefit of small group discussions and personal interactions, despite it being a virtual event. We're excited to offer interactivity for our exhibitors especially. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I'm a big fan of Zoom and the break out rooms are useful, however it's amazing what a difference it makes having a 'physical' space and being able to move between virtual tables.

It's very intuitive to use and great for allowing people to work in groups, bringing people together through the present mode when needed.

The whiteboards on each table are a great feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It's currently still being developed so can have occasional glitches that can usually be resolved by refreshing the page.

While the whiteboards are handy, it's currently not possible to share the whiteboard with everyone when in present mode. It would also be nice if it was possible to save the content of the whiteboard in a way that's not just an image file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Remo Conference enabled us to host a virtual festival with different festival spaces, connecting people from around the world. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I like the ability to move rooms at any moment and have the freedom to do so. I also enjoy the ability to have a space in the beginning to present because when I have used it, its usually a recruiting event that the recruiter has a big presentation for and then we network after that. Additionally, I enjoy how it has all of the features of zoom (like screensharing) with the autonomy of real life and choosing where you can go Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I dislike that you can't see the other floors and rooms available without going to that floor and room. I wish you were able to see the other floors without having to click into that floor. Additionally, I wish that the person presenting could hear the attendees or be able to get other confirmation that we can hear them than just the chat. Another thing is that sometimes when I'm browsing other rooms while in a meeting, I accidentally click on another room and join the other one. So, I think streamlining that process might be nice so that a person can't accidentally leave a room without wanting to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Get it!! It's the best online platform there is that most emulates real life and facilitates interaction Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Networking and professional events -- ability to emulate recruiting in real life and have the ability to talk to professionals for as long or as little as you please in an enclosed space. This platform is easier than Zoom because it gives you, the attendee, the ability to moderate your own experience (much like in real life how a recruiting even would go). What do you like best?

The Remo experience is amazing at all levels: the platform itself, the vision for future growth, and - delightedly- the way Remo supports their customers.

Remo as a platform: The possibilities for how you can design ways to engage humans in unique, unexpected, and delightful ways are truly endless.

Remo as a company; devotedly attentive to their customers. Every interaction I've had from the C level to the chat help has been personalized, warm, respectful, responsive, engaged & patient. I have exquisitely high standards as a customer, I have been continuously delighted.

Remo as a part of a visionary future: the pace at which they refine, add to, grow and consider customer input in adding features - is impressive and inspiring. Like watching a two-year old grow, every day is something new and exciting! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

This is a platform for innovators and imagineers. If you love innovation, you can't be anyplace better. If you want a never evolving, steady state of sameness - this may not be the place for you Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Totally worth it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Problems Solved: Virtually weary world, restricted ways of "choosing" how each individual wants to interact in a virtual setting.

Benefits Realized: We hosted a mind-body-soul expo on Remo, 100 participants were able to move between tables and sample offerings from 30 practitioners. We were also able to do an opening and closing session with all participants together. Our attendees loved it. They crossed all generations and immediately asked that we do it again. To offer something that the participants loved in a virtually weary world felt like giving a gift to everyone participating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

When it works, remo provides an interesting ux for virtual events. The virtual co-working space look/feel is a welcome change from life on zoom for attendees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Several times during each event, we incur technical issues related to video/audio fidelity. Without any realtime support, we work with our attendees to try and fix their initial issues with approx 75% success, but this has resulted in too many speakers and featured guests being effectively locked out of marquee events, sponsors not having access, meetings being cancelled, and trust and engagement being negatively impacted.

Support from Remo is anemic, and can take up to a week to receive a reply (via chat). This includes response related to technical, billing, and general customer service issues. Because of the lapse in communication, we've had to cancel events, and usually have multiple reps involved in duplicate conversations hampered by language barriers.

Since we've used the platform, they've tripled the price for our tier, and reduced the facility and capacity for events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've used Remo for job fairs, a startup accelerator cohort, and speaker events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The ability to set up and use Remo is remarkably easy. I love the branding opportunities and being able to move freely between tables. The service and turnaround time is amazing. I am so impressed with how regular updates are shared. It seems like the development team simply work non stop. Our customers are impressed with the platform and we have many repeat events which shows the attendees also like this Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It would be nice if we had a server in South Africa for better quality and more consistency with recordings. We sometimes dont get recordings of events. This is not so much a dislike but rather a suggestion It would be nice if I had more control over other speakers. I would like to be able to stop their screen sharing and to make their video feed bigger. I would also like to be able to arrange for host rights that are event specific. A challenge we face is that because it is browser sensitive, some attendees struggle to access Mic and Cam as they dont have Chrome loaded or their firewalls block the page but this is a challenge with all software that does not require you to install anything Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Improve recordings (longer than 2 hours), set up Servers in South Africa, more control over speakers, include active speaker view, offer remote control sharing of slides, offer virtual backgrounds, offer select clients host access for specific events only Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Remo is the platform that best replicates the in-person networking experience. It has a low barrier to entry and has allowed us to continue our conferences in a virtual environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There a many features that will bring this over the top that we do not have yet, like polls, assigned seating, and the ability to focus on a specific screen (i.e. slides) during presentation mode. They are also a fast-growing, young company, and glitches happen regularly as they go through their growing pains. Also, the inability to directy connect with our database has created some headaches but overall these are minor complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If the end-users you plan to work with have highly restrictive firewalls, you'll spend a good amount of time working with them to just get them on the system. It can be time-consuming for your reps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed a system that provided not just webinar features but also robust networking opportunities. We found this to be the easiest and most intuitive of all the platforms we reviewed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
