You can find documentation, guides, blog posts, videos, etc., for any topic or issue you need. **What do you dislike about Relativity?** There is a ton of customization that you can apply within Relativity, but sometimes that isn't always the best. Just because the feature is there, it doesn't always mean the feature should be used. Make sure you have a good sense to what works in your instance and test before applying customization to all workspaces. **What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?** A significant amount of time and resources are being focused on AI, automation, APIs, emerging data types, and making Relativity One genuinely cloud-native. The ability to quickly migrate data into a workspace and have a team of reviewers set up on the workspace saves time and minimizes the chance for human error. With RelativityOne, we are able to meet tight deadlines and quickly provide metrics to opposing counsel and management when needed. **What do you dislike about Relativity?** A recurring issue that is not necessarily a major problem is when processing errors occur that seem to fully resolve after multipe retries. If these error retries were automated that would be helpful. **Recommendations to others considering Relativity:** Highly recommend Relativity for document review and similar workflows. **What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have been able to vastly improve document review efficiency and streamline various day-to-day workflows. Relativity processing has enabled us to easily de-duplicate and cut down document review time. Other tools, such as email threading, conceptual analytics and dtSearch have also aided in culling down data and pinpointing the most responsive records. Loading data speeds from our network to RelativityOne is what stood out most while working through our first few matters. The interface is very user-friendly, with fast doc-to-doc speeds. The shared resources in the RelativityOne environment make it easy to get work done quickly. The platform design and the overall ease of doing business with Relativity and its partners, give us the confidence that RelativityOne will help us achieve the goals set out for our new department. Through a Relativity gold partner, we are provided full day-to-day administrative control of the RelativityOne platform, allowing us to perform 95% of the work in-house. RelativityOne can scale quickly up and down as needed to handle all sizes of cases, and our vendor partner provides a safety net when the matter is outside our scope or expertise. There is a lot to learn as a new RelativityOne administrator, but Relativity's approach toward education is refreshing. Our attorneys are very excited to have a full suite of advanced analytics available to help accelerate review times. As we work to build firmwide adoption among our attorneys, it doesn't hurt knowing that Relativity is the gold standard in the eDiscovery industry. **What do you dislike about Relativity?** Relativity is a little more complex than needed. So many steps to get data ready for review. Although very powerful and robust, a simple ECA workflow to reduce data volumes in review is one area that is missing. You can build one through various dashboards and Relativity recipes, but it is a very heavy lift. Building workflows with other case administrators is a lengthy and time-consuming undertaking. The number of steps we need to document in our process to get data ready for attorney review more than triples the number of steps compared to our old workflow. If you are not careful, you can miss an action that will affect the reviewable data set and cause the need for extra work downstream. This puts a little extra pressure on the learning process and makes it challenging to get early buy-in from our analysts. The good news is that Relativity listens to its customer base and is introducing features that will help automate and standardize many of the extra steps we are tasked with now. Highly recommended that you invest in training with Relativity and/or your vendor partner, not only for the how-to's but also to establish defensible workflows. **What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can perform all work in-house, allowing us to control billable client costs as part of our overall cost recovery strategy. Most law firms don't have task management or project management systems. Most law firm's have no or poor data room capabilities. I think RelativityOne needs to continue to build itself out as a platform and go after each of these use cases. Relativity One is amazing and the other scaled versions lag behind some. Especially on prem version, democratize the software and lower the price for functionality. They listen to requests for new features, feedback on existing ones, and demonstrate that they value the community. **What do you dislike about Relativity?** I wish Relativity would be more interested in getting certified for Secret and above clearance use by the Federal government. Casepoint currently corners the market on this. **What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Relativity is building in the AI needed to compete in this space and making it easier to use by attempting to make it easier to explain to the attorneys and stakeholders involved. ### 37. Relativity has all the features a law firm needs with AI to support the exercise. **What do you dislike about Relativity?** Pricing is prohibitive for smaller investigations, some clients can't trust their data to the cloud. Some features can be improved, for example the Integration Points has some limitations when migrating specific kinds of fields and cannot point to files outside of the folder where the loadfile is created. The API changes frequently and some features are not available via REST. **What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helps to find critical evidence quickly in a large dataset with millions of documents. The predictive analytics and search options are great. The new interface has reduced the learning curve time. ### 38. A small example I would say is excel redactions are not supported on all it is but with some third-party addons. which can be upgraded I believe for all environments. **What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Relativity helps us in performing our day-to-day jobs very smoothly. From Processing to production we can work as per the turnaround time for our clients which I believe is a plus. ### 39. By combining Relativity with our Citrix platform, we've been able to securely tend to our clients demands. **What do you dislike about Relativity?** I would say that Relativity is an all-around great tool. If I had to choose something we have difficulty with is locating documents already reviewed by specific coders when no batches are present. It is also a hindrance that multiple accounts are needed to access different instances and no native fix is available to have a central hub. **What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?** At this time, Relativity allows our teams to go over alredy reviewed documents more easily. The several coding panes are great to consider different investigations at different times of the case life cycle. ### 43. Overall a very useful bit of software. **What do you dislike about Relativity?** The support for their product has changed, and although their response times have been decent, it hasn't filled the gap. So far they seem to be making improvements. **What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Staging explorer makes it easy to keep watch transfers and remedy any of the inconsistencies that have been experienced.
