What I like best about Regroup Mass Notification is its ability to send messages quickly across multiple communication channels such as email, SMS, and voice from a single platform. Regroup Mass Notification helps solve the challenge of quickly communicating with large groups of people during emergencies or time-sensitive situations at the airport. As an airport admin, it allows me to instantly send alerts about incidents, operational changes, or safety instructions through multiple channels such as SMS, email, and voice. This ensures that staff and relevant teams receive critical information quickly, which helps improve response time, coordination, and overall safety.

**What do you like best about Regroup Mass Notification?**

While the Regroup product is a great tool with intuitive user interface, I would say that what I like best is the customer service. Our rep, Andres, was super helpful all along the way. He took the time to ensure we understood the "how" and "why" of the various programming components when setting up the initial account settings during the Implementation Plan. Never felt rushed, always listened carefully. Excellent customer service!

It can take a little time to understand the nuances between "subscribers" and "contacts", "groups" and "channels".

**What problems is Regroup Mass Notification solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mass notification to our citizens is the primary purpose for us having this (or similar) tools. The ease of how we can integrate additional, non-emergency communications through the use of channels is an added benefit that allows us to expand our community outreach and engagement.

The ease of integration during the implementation. We ran into a bit of hiccups, but for the most part we've worked through them. Customer support was responsive when a ticket was submitted.

The mobile app was a game changer for Admins, especially since most of our emergencies happen when we aren't near a computer, however, not all of the functionality that exists in the web version is available on the Admin side of the app (ex. Informacast) so we have to use the web browser on our mobile devices to send a message and that interface is not mobile responsive.

Notifying our students and employees when an emergency is taking place and what action they should take.

**What do you like best about Regroup Mass Notification?**

When we ran into issues transitioning to an existing system after a merger, we turned to Regroup and had a functioning system in place in just 2 days.  The process was amazingly simple, like following a checklist setting everything up and we had a fabulous account manager Vivek helping us every step of the way.  Vivek has been amazing, available, and walked us through the entire process to make it successful.  We procured this system initially as needed for company emergencies, but now all the extra benefits are being realized and we have been incorporating Regroup into other aspects of employee notifications, such as system alarm notifications and weather statements.  This system gives us peace of mind when we need to communicate with all employees, or just a specific group, for small situations or major disruptions like hurricanes.  The overall system is easy to access and utilize, allowing a variety of message options.  We can share necessary messages in multiple formats, poll our employees for safety or needs, and the system provides an amazing report function to identify each and every message sent.  This implementation greatly exceeded my expectations!

**What do you dislike about Regroup Mass Notification?**

I have no dislikes with the system itself.  We had a few minor hiccups on our side during the implementation process, but the issues were quickly addressed and solutions found.

**What problems is Regroup Mass Notification solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With 1600+ employees in multiple states, Regroup allows easy notification to all or a select group of employees.  Originally procured for emergency notification situations, such as hurricane response, we have found multiple new benefits for everything from general employee notifications (facility power losses) to integrating alarm system notifications for select teams, to providing area-specific weather notifications.  The system allows multiple notification methods, including the phone app, so we can communicate with employees at any point in time.

The ability to send quick alerts through multiple platforms.  We utilize the SMS and desktop client options the most.

We wish there was a capability of adding different sounds on the desktop client for different alerts (ie. DRILL vs. REAL EMERGENCY)

**What do you like best about Regroup Mass Notification?**

ReGroup made everything very easy for us from the start with great direction from our Account Manager Matheus.  We were able to get things going very quickly for our company of around 250+ employees - and were able to use SCIM import from Microsoft to keep our contact lists updtaed easily for employees.  Even though we were primarily focused on sending emergency SMS and emails, ReGroup has many other options such as sending an actual text to voice phone call, sending directly to a Microsoft Teams Channel, or even posting something on social media which is a feature that we might use in the future.  They also have an optional desktop notifications option as well.  Customer Support with our Support Rep and also with Development when there was a short technical issue related to Single Sign-On was a good response - and they were able to solve the problem quickly for us.  Implementation was very smooth with Matheus and we had no issues on that side.  Even our Sales Rep Owen was great initially in the pre-purchase process in getting us tested on the system to make sure it met our needs.

**What do you dislike about Regroup Mass Notification?**

The only downside I can think of maybe is cost - however any system you choose (and we looked at 3-4 systems) is going to cost you - and pricing is generally based on a per employee / total employees type basis.  However, we liked the fact that ReGroup had their annual messaging package built into the annual licensing cost of the system (which does have a large annual cap of SMS / voice messages which are the only thing that count as a cost/credit) - and options to purchase large bulk packages if needed.  The only way I can see anyone hitting this limit is if they're spamming their employees/students daily with many text messages.  We appreciate the large variety of options that are included with ReGroup.

ReGroup's main primary purpose with us was with the text/SMS Emergency Messaging - however it has many other useful options such as Email, Teams, Mobile App Notification, Desktop, and other ways to notify users as well about information that we find it extremely useful and helpful for our purposes.

Regroup fills a notification gap for the city. It ensures emergency notices can be sent out to those that are less technologically savvy or do not review local media options.

It is another piece of software that we have to share over multiple departments. While it contains integral features, it adds another step in the notification process, even though it may be the most effective step in the process.

It fills gaps in notifying those without a social media presence. It is an immediate notice and doesn't rely on an outside vendor (radio, media) to push the messages out.

The system is fantastic but the best thing may be the Customer Service.  There have been several times where I have reached out (in a panic) to my customer support representative who has each time met my urgency and provided clear instruction.  Of course, each time I figure out that had I just went into the system and did a minimal amount of clicking around I could have handled it without assistance - but it is nice to feel an extra layer of confidence when messaging my entire company.

**What do you dislike about Regroup Mass Notification?**

I have not yet found something that I dislike.

**What problems is Regroup Mass Notification solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit is how quickly I can send out texts to the full list of employees, or subgroups (for us that means Departments or physical building address) for emergency issues.  So far we have had some weather related as well as customers that were acting in a violent manner.

Regroup Mass Notification is a reliable and user-friendly platform that gives my organization the ability to communicate effectively, streamline operations and respond confidently to any situation. This flexibility makes it easy to adapt to various communication needs. We are very pleased with Regroup's customer service. Our Regroup representative, Vivek, is WONDERFUL. He is very attentive and knowledgeable, constantly checking in and making sure we have everything we need. He really does give our team a peace of mind with his commitment to helping our organization maximize the platform's potential.

I am fairly new to the platform (six months in). So far, I do not have any dislikes when it comes to Regroup Mass Notification.

Regroup Mass Notification has proven to be an invaluable resource for the City of Huntsville thus far, helping us address and resolve communication challenges effectively.

Recently, we encountered an issue where one of our employees was unable to receive emails from Regroup, which prevented them from logging in and accessing the platform. Fortunately, our Regroup representative, Vivek, stepped in to assist us promptly and professionally. Vivek guided us through a series of troubleshooting techniques to identify potential causes for the email issue. His approach was thorough and easy to follow, ensuring that we left no stone unturned. One of his key recommendations was to provide our IT Department with the Regroup Server List, allowing them to whitelist Regroup's servers and ensure emails could be delivered without interference.

With Vivek's expertise and proactive support, we were able to resolve the problem swiftly. This experience reinforced our confidence in Regroup not only as a reliable communication platform but also as a partner committed to ensuring our success. Ease of use, I am able to send an alert out withing seconds using the templates that have been pre populated, also I can jsut edit existing templates as needed and send out in aroudn the same time. Customer support has been exellent while I was learning the system and updating our records.

I would like to see more characters for the text messaging, 160 includes the link to the message makes it hard to give instructions and updates.

Regroup's scalability and flexibility let us adapt the sytem to different needs. Whether we set up a one time group for a planned event, set up multiple channels in one group to increase efficeieny, or notify all users at once, the system meets our needs perfectly. The software is web-based, intuitive, and easy to use. Sending out messages, whether prescripted or on the fly, is a breeze. Lastly, we always know exactly who our customer service POC is, so we know exactly who to reach out to at all times for questions and training. Overall we've had an extremely positive experience with Regroup.

**What do you dislike about Regroup Mass Notification?**

Maintaining the user datebase can be a bit cumbersome. Adding long lists through CSV files takes a lot of practice to get right. Deleting users from groups and from the system entirely can get confused. Maintaining permissions can also be a challenge.

**What problems is Regroup Mass Notification solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Regrpoud primarily as an employee notification system. We use the platform to share critical, time sensitive information with staff members. This can be building closures, weather notifications, hazrd notifications, etc. Some departments have adopted the platform for different uses, such as an airport using it for more common employee notifications on a daily basis. We also utilize the system for one time, planned events, where users can scan a pregenerated QR code to be added into an event group. If a need to share infrmationr egarding that event arises, we  can contact those individuals specifically.

We needed a way to text our membership and Regroup has allowed that, along with email. It also offers nice features like geolocation, which would be a super feature but isn't very useful for us because of our weird parcel addresses. I like the way I can put a message together and send it via text and email at one time, and tailor the messaging per the medium.


Customer support has been very responsive and helpful - that's really important to me. They made implementation very easy.

The only downside is that formatting emails isn't as easy as in some other applications, but it's worth it to me to have the seamless SMS texting.

Regroup is so easy to use, and gives so many options on how you want your messages sent/received. I have also had to contact the help desk, and they were able to resolve my issue right away.

I dislike that I am unable to reset a user, if they later decide that they want to receive alerts again after having unsubscribed. To do this, one must go through the Help Desk. As an administrator, I would like to be able to do that myself. I do understand the reasoning; However, it still is something I dislike about this program.

Keeping contacts up to date can be somewhat tedious.

Regroup has saved our staff from having to post fliers on residents doors. Our properties are large and our teams are small. Regroup saves our team several hours a week.

Regroup was easy to setup and integrate with our existing systems. Our whole team found support and implementors were knowledgeable and helpful during the deployment process.

Our team found that the interface for regroup was easy to use, though there were some areas that didn't make immediate sense when looking at the platform. After a bit of education we understood the methodology and are able to use the platform effectively.

With regroup mass notification we're able to send communications to our employees directly to their cellular devices without depending on our internal email solution.

It is the ease of access/response. The nature of our need was to contact our workers in a disaster.  Regroup allows us this capability and far more than we have ever had.

We haven't found anything to dislike so far.

Immediate access to communications with volunteers in a physical location where communications options are limited.  We deploy workers to areas where disasters have occurred and need to be able to communication logistics and other information.  Regroup has been very responsive.

Regroup mass notification does offer some cool things, provided you can get through the integration phase. Single source for contacting with text, email, electronic signage and CAP Feed.

**What do you dislike about Regroup Mass Notification?**

The team we worked with were completely non-responsive. We had to ask repeatedly for information, and then when they did finally respond,  instead of answering a simple question, they sent a 10 page document that had to be searched through to find a single sentence.  They made promise after promise about when functionality would be ready, the day after the functionality was supposed to be installed, they claimed it was, and we had to demonstrate to them that no, in fact, it was not installed.  Any time there was an issue, they claimed not to be able to duplicate it even with screenshots and very clear instructions on how to duplicate the issue.  We wound up having to get on a conference call with them to show them their application was not working.

Fast mass single screen notification for text, email, digital signage, and website feed with a CAP rss feed to send to our website.  Due to overwhelming their CAP rss feed system, we wound up having to reengineer our website publish method to operate on a 1 minute cache.

I love how simple Regroup makes it for the end user to operate the notification system. Regroup is always looking for ways to improve their system and stay on top of any updated software available. I appreciate their helpful articles and fast responding customer service. The overall system has helped our college for many years and we wouldn't want to use any other platform other than Regroup.

**What do you dislike about Regroup Mass Notification?**

There aren't any features regarding the system that I do not like. If I'm confused about any area I know I can look into their knowledge base or email/call their support team and I'll quickly find my solution.

Regroup is in the process of developing new ways to reach our students and that's benefiting us as a college as additional ways we can reach our target audience. I look forward to exploring the Microsoft Teams platform and seeing if it's something that would help us even more.

Integration with other systems and the flexibility of creating dynamic groups is very nice. Messages are reliably and promptly received. We tried other systems and chose Regroup!

Managing users could be improved, particularly for purging inactive users. It would be helpful to sort user information fields and to be able to view more than 20 per page.

Communication about deadlines, emergencies, or just events is simplified with being able to send SMS and email versions of the message. Users enjoy being able to opt-in to some groups.
