I use Qwilr to write proposals, and the automatic quote calculations, discounts, templates, and saved blocks let me put together customized quotes quickly or duplicate them year over year. I estimate it has reduced my proposal writing time by upwards of 80%. It’s visually appealing and fairly simple to use, and I can embed videos and make proposals look more graphically advanced without manually designing them. I like that accepted proposals can generate an invoice in QuickBooks automatically, and that clients can e-sign the agreement in Qwilr, making the whole quoting process simple, reliable, and smooth. Setup was extremely easy because the team turned one of my existing proposals into a template for me. When I’ve had issues, the team has generally been responsive and open to feedback, and they implemented some suggestions I shared while they were creating the agreements feature. The mobile view of the quote sometimes isn’t as optimized as it could be. Blocks can appear differently than they do on desktop, and the text can be way too big without it being obvious when I’m working on desktop. I’ve also been waiting for the ability to have sections in a quote that are only visible to me and hidden from the client, so I can do calculations and refer back to them later. Right now, I have to create a separate version of the quote for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
