It is so easy to navigate, the fact that you can customize it to be your own and upload or replace your own content/videos is so empowering. I'm sure I'm not alone having relied on things like google sheets so being able to integrate that by a click of a button was marvelous. The "shell" of what a successful group structure has made implementing it with my current clients a breeze. I'm finding myself using it often not out of necessity, but because I'm so excited to discover the next feature or crank out another email or automated text to my client groups. It's been refreshing, especially because I am one who tends to ask A LOT of questions, every time I've reached out they have gotten back to me quickly and professionally which is always appreciated. **What do you dislike about PT Distinction?** I genuinely really like the app. I would say the only downside to it would be the challenge of being an "in-person" and "online coach".I love that they are implementing AI features for meal planning and for program development and with a little more prompt guidance it would make it feel like I was cheating!!If they created and on the spot program creation tool/feature that allows someone like myself to easily put together an exercise sequence "on the spot" especially when training in crowded gyms that would be fantastic. **What problems is PT Distinction solving and how is that benefiting you?** Automating training for sure. I know I have found myself saying the same things over and over, so its nice to digitalize and professionally sequence those "broken record" tips and tricks I know must be heard, and with the different modalities of communication, it still fosters the feeling of a personal relationship with client and trainer. The AI generator takes the structural work out of programming, allowing me to save time. It's difficult to even find nutrition features in the app. The features I finally found are a bit lack luster. PT Distinction was an easy choice as it had every personal training category covered just the way I wanted it. It is simple to use, and I really like how fast I can create new accounts, customize forms, and create programs and workouts. The perfect integration of all the tools significantly simplifies my job. What I like even more is the ability to effectively create and edit the programs on the go in the app. The app is also very stable without any glitches. My clients also enjoy it for its solid performance and ease of use when they are doing their workouts. The customer support has been awesome so far. The regularly roll out updates and the app itself rarely has any downtime. The custom app features are really nice and easy to implement and really give a clean professional feel. Their most recent update to leave a comment on any of their activity is fantastic (which is also sentn to their messenger inbox with a link back) . Also being able to send videos, voice recordings and also have clients send form videos linked to specific exercises is great. I don;t use all the features, but you can see very quickly especially working through the modules that PTD has some incredible capabailities for those who want to scale to very large numbers and it handles it just as easily compared to just 2-3 clients. Being able to message clients through the app has been a gamechanger as I don't need to rely on whatsapp or email anymore. The in app messenging is very fluid and fast to use. I can do almost everything from the mobile app too which is great as a trainer. **What do you dislike about PT Distinction?** It's somewhat a steep learning curve but once that's done you do get to see the potential of this awesome product. Usability for the client can sometimes be an issue as tracking data or intitially learning the app can be challenging for old clients. saying that, a quick loom video sorts this out. **What problems is PT Distinction solving and how is that benefiting you?** messaging app is very good and saves me having to pay for a seprate sim contrcat or phone or have my client messages mixed up with my facebook messages. Keeping so much in one app is extremly handy and simplifies the billing side but also from a productivity perspective. ### 8. So, you have to update client profiles on your laptop. Which does slow things down a little. This is especially difficult, when you have back to back sessions & don't have time to get on the laptop. Right now I am unable to sync YouTube videos which is kind of a bummer - but it's not the end of the world. This is allowing me to work with my in-person and online clients with ease to deliver diet plans, custom workouts and any other info to help my clients. I have found it easier and a flatter learning curve relative to other sites. It's great for implementing programs (from templates if you want), courses, and even habit changes! This is because it does so much more than other trainer apps. But you should trial it from client side first to ensure you can guide them through it. Once they play around with it, becomes much easier. Also, sometimes it can be hard to make suggestions for new features. The support is great, but maybe slightly limited in how he believes training can be delivered. Not really the app, but since I can't think of more concerns, theres that. Still better support and more updates the other major apps in this market. **Recommendations to others considering PT Distinction:** I think it seems to be the best fitness app out there, especially if you plan to run premade programs, group programs, and instill other information to your clients. They plan to add more detailed results tracking for groups (which can help if you train teams, currently would need an app like teambuldr for that).
