I'm testing the project and activity log, in order to keep track of the software development projects that we currently have in our portfolio. **What do you dislike about Project Central?** You should be able to add scrum control tools, with this agility theme it would be very helpful. **Recommendations to others considering Project Central:** implement improvements with agile, there are cool tools that can be added to track **What problems is Project Central solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm testing the project and activity log, in order to keep track of the software development projects that we currently have in our portfolio. ### 2. By using its features we can swiftly set up our projects and can assign different tasks to our crew members. After it, we have witnessed a massive incline in our productivity and now we can meet our deadlines too. We are also utilizing it in monitoring and keeping a track of our performance and also assisted us in recognizing and meeting our objectives. Without Project Central things would have been much tough for us and also it has a pretty cool feature by the assistance of which we can attach and upload our files and can keep our team on a single page by sharing files with all the members. **What do you dislike about Project Central?** Although it is pretty helpful software I am personally not satisfied with its subtasks management which is a little vague and should not be in the form of a checklist for me and my team. So there should be an actual subtask rather than a checklist. **What problems is Project Central solving and how is that benefiting you?** Overall we are highly contented with the performance of Project central as it has empowered us to manage our projects quite smoothly and efficiently. Using it we can attach and upload our files. Also, we can set up our projects and can assign different tasks to our team members. It has helped us schedule meetings, keep track of project schedules, and made it easy to assign tasks to those in the office. **What do you dislike about Project Central?** The only thing I found to dislike was that it seemed to only work with Office 365 documents. **What problems is Project Central solving and how is that benefiting you?** Scheduling and assigning tasks were the two main items that we were able to improve on immediately. We have cut down on unnecessary doubling of work and have less meeting due to us being able to communicate efficiently through this software. ### 6. And I'd have to pick my new favourite functionality, this would be the Gantt Charts, but I'm also a very much technical learner. it can also be immense to manage tasks, project work. Thing I love about Project Central would be that it helps me but also my team plan ahead, fulfil time restrictions, track the progress. **What do you dislike about Project Central?** The tool is limited to customers of microsoft accounts. May not have been a major issue for us, but because they also don't use Microsoft 365, some individuals I advised projectcentral couldn't really be onboard too. **What problems is Project Central solving and how is that benefiting you?** Team members but also people outside the organisation can use a very useful tool for marketing and product teams working in agile methodology and it shows very organised and simple progress made by your team. -- people can assign employees and monitor status updates to authorized standards, and everything is clear for everybody. ### 7. Manage all on-going project and related tasks with ease **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Katarzyna K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2020 **What do you like best about Project Central?** - nice visual interface and the single screen displaying all the on-giong projects which helps our team quickly and easily see what we're working on and what the status and progress of every project and tasks are, - ability to track and manage every step of a project, every single task, - ability to easily assign project managers, add or remove other members, - tasks' assigning options, - tasks management options with easily to use drag and drop solutions, - ability to upload and attach files and other documents that are related to a specific project or a task. **What do you dislike about Project Central?** The only limitation I see is that it works for Office 365 docs only - however if you work with this model, then it's a great solution to manage projects and efficiently collaborate within your team. **What problems is Project Central solving and how is that benefiting you?** For us it works really great and help us to manage multiple projects, work more efficiently, know every project and task status without bothering anybody (all can be checked in the dashboard). It helps us to organize our work and set up every team member's priorities. ### 8. What I like about Project Central is that it helps me and my team stay organized, meet deadlines in time, track progress, and establish our priorities. If I were to pick my favorite feature, it would be the Gantt Charts, as I am a really visual person. **What do you dislike about Project Central?** I kinda like everything about this tool. They're really good! **Recommendations to others considering Project Central:** You'll love it! **What problems is Project Central solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are now able to focus on the bigger picture and prioritize accordingly. In the past, we used to be "all over the place" and keep our tasks and projects in so many other tools or even in personal notes. That's no longer the case! We're more organized and I'd say even more productive - by knowing exactly what we need to achieve & with a deadline in place. ### 9. I had zero push back from any team members during migration which I believe is down to their strong focus on UX and onboarding **What do you dislike about Project Central?** The tool is limited to microsoft account users. Wasn't a problem for us, but some people i recommended projectcentral too couldn't onboard because they were not utilizing microsoft 365. **Recommendations to others considering Project Central:** Highly recommend for both product and marketing teams. But only if you use Microsoft of course. **What problems is Project Central solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main reason other tools were not successful for us, was because the team didn't want to use them. They had poor interface and usability. I don't have these issues with ProjectCentral. Which in turn means that we have more accurate updates and snap shots of project statuses because the team actively use it daily. ### 10. I work with many contractors and clients and I can base everything in Project Central. What I like the most is how easy and clear is to see the progress and monitor the projects, and everything on the UI is perfectly organized. Also, their support team is also pretty good at answering emails quickly and they are very friendly. **What do you dislike about Project Central?** There isn't much not to like, but you need a Microsoft work account and not everyone may have it. **Recommendations to others considering Project Central:** They have a free trial so I suggest you to try it. You'll see by yourself is more simple, visual, and efficient than any others. There is not a learning curve to using the program, so you'll be able to jump right in and figure it out without having to watch tutorials. **What problems is Project Central solving and how is that benefiting you?** Project Central is great to have the big picture of all projects and I quickly find the information I need. I’ve tried many project management tools and I have to say that this is the simplest and easiest to use platform for collaboration and organization.
