# What contractor payment platforms connect with HR, payroll and accounting systems so contractor data does not have to be manually entered in three different places?

The pain point is simple: contractor data should not have to be keyed into HRIS, payroll, and accounting separately.

For teams comparing contractor payments, my quick read is:

Entering contractor data in three places is the symptom, the disease is that HR, payroll, and accounting each think they own the source of truth. A tool helps only once you decide which system is the master record, otherwise you've just automated syncing conflicting data faster. Which system do you want to be the single source? Answer that before shopping, because the integration you need depends entirely on it, and no platform makes that call for you.
