I LOVE that I can quickly glance at our KPIs (MRR, Customers, LTV, ARPA, Churn) without having to do the calculations. We use ProfitWell as a benchmark on our internal KPI calculations and financial reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike how opaque the LTV calculation is. I have no idea how ProfitWell calculates LTV. I've read all of ProfitWell's blog posts on this matter but they're not very transparent on this metric. It would be very helpful if their methodology was disclosed and clearly explained. There shouldn't be anything proprietary about a calculation. In fact, it adds value for your customers. If we decide to adopt ProfitWell's LTV calculation, we need to justify why we calculated LTV that way... we can reference or justify a blackbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
