What do you dislike about ProfitWell Metrics by Paddle?

What do you like best about ProfitWell Metrics by Paddle?

I love how super easy it is to get insights into important KPIs. Personally, I mostly use the growth and revenue trends overviews. Projections are also really useful. Apart from that, I love the simplicity of Retain. It's saved us quite a lot of churn without any effort! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ProfitWell Metrics by Paddle?

Honestly, the only minor "issue" I run into is that I have multiple platforms on PW, but they only support one platform per account so I have to sign in and out of multiple accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There isn't a ton to dislike. They deliver on their promise, even at the 'Free Forever' level and then have upgrades and additional products to get more from their platform. The numbers that we pull out of Profitwell are ~95% accurate. This is not due to an issue with Profitwell, but due to our set up in Zuora. If you struggle to pull live ARR out of Zuora, you will likely struggle to pull it out of Profitwell too Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering ProfitWell Metrics by Paddle:

Make sure that the reporting in Zuora is accurate. We assumed that Profitwell would fix our reporting issues out of Zuora, but it does not fix every issue that comes from Zuoras ARR reporting. What do you like best about ProfitWell Metrics by Paddle?

Profitwell gives me huge insight into the revenue growth of our customer base. I can pinpoint exactly how much growth comes from new customers vs. upgrades, my average customer lifetime value, and monthly recurring revenue.

As a marketer this data is invaluable in marketing decisions on what channels to allocate marketing budget towards and gives me clear performance data to management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ProfitWell Metrics by Paddle?

This has more to do with the way that my company has implemented our customer billing in Stripe, but ProfitWell has some issues with complex billing arrangements.

Some of our customers are on invoiced plans and ProfitWell has flagged customers that have come to the end of their contracts as churned and when they renew as new customers.

I used ProfitWell for over a year, but I ended up signing up for ChartMogul as well because they offer an option to track non-subscription revenue as well.
