## Pin Reviews
 ### 1. Robust and User-Friendly Hiring Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** D M. | Member of the Board of Advisors

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Pin?**

I find Pin to have a very easy-to-use GUI, which makes it simple and intuitive to navigate. The dashboard is very good and provides great analytics. I really enjoy how it's straightforward to learn with no massive learning curve involved. I appreciate that it gives you different ways to set it up, whether you have a job description or just basic profile details from a conversation, or if you need to build a pipeline, you can do it all through Pin. The system is very robust and quickly adapts to the requirements of my clients and the roles I work on, covering both technical and non-technical positions across the board. It allows me to accomplish my tasks very quickly, saving me extensive time compared to the other platforms I have to use for my daily duties. The initial setup of Pin was extremely easy, I would rate it an 11 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

Sometimes in certain industry sectors, like construction, Pin doesn't have a robust number of candidates it's able to find. It had some challenges finding the types of candidates needed for a friend's search.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pin allows me to quickly dial in the profile I'm sourcing for, find candidate contact information, and launch drip campaigns through the platform.

 ### 2. Efficient Candidate Filtering with Pin

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff C.

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Pin?**

I like the filters that Pin provides, which help me narrow down the candidate search based on different criteria. Pin also offers suggestions, which is helpful. A feature I really appreciate is being able to write in and customize what I need to be filtered out, allowing me to get very specific with what I'm looking for in candidates and profiles.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

Sometimes when I reject a profile and provide my own feedback on why they're not a fit, I still see the same profiles even after Pin updates based on my feedback. Also, I noticed that Pin counts a lot of internships as part of years of experience, which can alter the profiles I receive.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pin helps me find candidates by narrowing down the search with different filters, making role-filling easier and more precise.

 ### 3. Intuitive, Time-Saving, and Exceptionally Responsive to Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Declan D. | Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Pin?**

It's very intuitive. I worked with this team back when they were Intersellar. They are very intuitive and listen to the feedback from recruiters which is rare unfortunately. Many solutions build something without any regard to their end user in this space but feel like suggestions we make are listened to an implemented. It's very seamless and saves me hours a week. The reporting is also great so you can see how you're doing and it's done in such a simple way. Sourcing becomes so much easier and quicker and it frees up so much time.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

I can't say too much I dislike. I like that I can see Opens of my emails and my only wish is that maybe can see how many opens so I can prioritize calls accordingly to the hottest signal.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time efficiency. I can do so much work in my workflow much quicker. And I love the reporting dashboard to track.

 ### 4. Pin: Speed, Accuracy, and Top-Notch Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barry N. | Co Chair Membership - Board Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Pin?**

I find Pin really easy to use, even though I'm not a very sophisticated user. Their tech support is particularly good, being very supportive and helpful when needed. Pin is a better platform than what we used before; it's quicker, cheaper, and more accurate. The initial setup was very easy, which I appreciate a lot.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

nothing I don't like about PIN. It's a terrific tool.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Pin for candidate sourcing and segmentation, which speeds up our time to market and enhances accuracy. It's easy for me to use, even as a not very sophisticated user, and the tech support is particularly good.

 ### 5. Streamlined Email Profile Sharing Is a Game-Changer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henry N. | Recruiting Partner for Health Tech Startups, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Pin?**

The email feature where Pin sends their profile in a thread so I can maintain a streamlined workflow in my inbox versus switching to a browser to view their Pin or LI profile. I think this feature is amazing and one of the unsung heroes in the product.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

There have been a couple instances where I would duplicate an email campaign and it would freeze, which is frustrating in the middle of a workflow setup. With this, it would be nice if Pin had a Product Feedback portal and ticketing system to track bug and feature requests.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pin helps me keep a flow of candidates in conversation with it's auto-emailer. While I do not use the AI suggested content opener, I do like how I'm able to customize my flow with email and LinkedIn without it needing to be a linear process.

 ### 6. I'm the founder and Managing Director of a boutique search firm

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rich M. | Senior Recruiter and Founder, Staffing and Recruiting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Pin?**

PIN has become the main sourcing tool for my search firm. It consistently delivers accurate results and adapts to the way I build my searches over time. Additionally, its messaging capabilities are truly best in class.

Having tried several other sourcing tools in the past, I can say that PIN stands out as the most effective—it genuinely helps me make placements. I also appreciate how straightforward it is to implement.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

There are no downsides to using PIN. I use it every day and plan to continue doing so. They have great customer support. It integrates very easily with any other platform. It's also very easy to get started if you haven't used an AI tool before, period.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my business, I need to find highly technical individuals that oftentimes have experience with very niche skill sets. This can be AI, or a language or library that is just starting to be used. PIN is able to pull information from several sources, including LinkedIn, GitHub, social media, and other places. It's easy to refine my search and have a group of candidates ready to message within 10 minutes or so. Given that some of the founders were from Gem, Pin is particularly strong with messaging.

 ### 7. Top RecTech Tool that is not just another AI Bubble Trend

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan P. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Pin?**

I use Pin mainly to source candidates. Its native emailing function and sourcing capability are above and beyond, making it one of the best out there. I've successfully made placements and stayed connected with people through it, and it has a reach comparable to any other rec tech tool. A major plus is that they continuously improve, and their customer service is impeccable, thanks to Jake. I also appreciate the reasonable aspect of it, and I recommend Pin for anyone looking for a strong sourcing tool that doesn't ruin relationships with candidates or harm your IP reputation regarding emails. It's great that I can import job details from a URL, which is a handy feature. The AI-generated search within Pin is impressive, allowing modifications and offering many specific variables. The sourcing capability lets me choose between broad or very specific searches, and they've even implemented some of my suggestions. The sequencing tool stands out with its powerful LinkedIn integration, though being mindful of LinkedIn's limitations is necessary. Email and text sequencing is straightforward, and I find the phone lookup useful, even at extra credit cost. Overall, it's really great.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

Sometimes the automatic email sequencing in Pin emails a candidate who has already said no or isn't interested, which could be improved. The only issue I've had is extra emailing from sequencing not finishing what it should. And, you know, the fact that I can't use text.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Pin to source candidates effectively with its native emailing and sourcing function. It helped me make placements and stay connected. It's a strong sourcing tool that maintains candidate relations and email reputation.

 ### 8. Boosted Recruiting Success, Stellar Follow-Up Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jana R. | President / Pharmacist Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Pin?**

I truly appreciate the follow-up feature of Pin, which has significantly enhanced my recruitment process by allowing me to thoughtfully follow up with potential candidates. This has led to responses that I previously wasn’t getting. Furthermore, I love the AI features integrated into Pin, particularly the ability to make geographical or skill set modifications seamlessly. Even being technically challenged, I find myself learning and adapting to these features, which have become invaluable in sourcing and placing candidates efficiently. The fact that I've successfully sourced and placed two candidates within five months reaffirms the product's return on investment, motivating me to continue using Pin and renewing my membership.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

I find it tricky at times to use Pin as someone who is technically challenged. They logic with key words is hard for me to grasp. Moreover, it does not integrate with my ATS, Top Echelon, which complicates my workflow. I wish the search process could be a little easier and that Pin could integrate with Top Echelon software.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Pin to discover and connect with candidates beyond my previous resources. It has enhanced candidate outreach with thoughtful follow-ups, leading to responses I didn't get before, ultimately providing a good return on investment through successful placements.

 ### 9. Superior Sourcing Tool, Outsmarts LinkedIn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John C.

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Pin?**

I am impressed by Pin’s effectiveness in sourcing candidates for challenging positions, outperforming LinkedIn, especially for niche roles. I find Pin’s ability to **adjust based on my feedback** impressive, as it works to refine candidate pools quickly and helps our executive search firm to find more and better matching potential candidates. Setting it up was easier than expected, allowing me to start searching quickly. It proves to be highly effective in sourcing and outreach, becoming my most effective tool. The return on investment with Pin is excellent as it consistently produces results that make my customers happy.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

I feel that Pin lacks direct integration with systems like loxo.ai, which is my ATS. This means I need to manually input job details into Pin before running a search. It would be more convenient if I could simply input this information into my ATS and use a plugin to initiate a search. While this isn't a major issue for me right now, having such integration would streamline the process further.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Pin for sourcing candidates, efficiently adjusting to feedback, building strong pipelines, and filling challenging positions, outperforming LinkedIn.

 ### 10. Superb, Easy-to-Navigate UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam V. | Founder/Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Pin?**

The UI is superb and very easily navigated.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

Adding more "places" to find candidates.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding candidates from multiple locations as well as the outreach.

 ### 11. I just started using PIN — and I’m already a believer.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy C. | Director, Talent Acquisition, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Pin?**

It’s incredibly easy to source with, connects to up-to-date candidate profiles, and the AI sourcing delivers spot-on results. After using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and JuiceBox AI, I can honestly say PIN stands out. The quality and speed of the matches speak for themselves — it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite recruiting tools.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

The only downside? I’m just waiting for my ATS to integrate once that happens, it’ll be perfect.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With PIN, the AI sourcing actually understands the intent behind your search and delivers better, more relevant results right away. It saves time, cuts out noise, and helps recruiters connect with active, qualified talent faster.

 ### 12. Streamlines Candidate Search but Interface Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** AJ J. | Founder & CEO

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Pin?**

I like that Pin makes locating candidates easy. It helps me find candidates more easily and quickly for my clients, which is really useful in the recruiting process.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

I find the interface of Pin not very user-friendly, which could be improved. The Boolean search feature also doesn't work as well as I would like. Additionally, the cost of phone credits is something I find to be a bit high.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that Pin makes finding candidates easier and quicker for clients and helps me locate candidates easily.

 ### 13. The Future of Talent Acquisition Sourcing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler F. | Director of Talent Acquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Pin?**

Pin automates the recruiting passive talent sourcing process—AI does the heavy lifting. What I really like though is users can still dig in manually to adjust and finetune searching.

It's easy to implement, only takes a few minutes.

With easy to get a hold of customer support, this will be a daily sourcing tool for me, competing with others like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Smart Sourcer.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

Sometimes the candidate's scraped contact information is incorrect.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Talent Acquisition sourcing.

 ### 14. Pin has been such a time saver!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonya M. | Executive Talent Consultant | AI & Growth Hiring Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Pin?**

The ability to fine tune my sourcing, multiple categories to narrow down & refine the pool plus AI option to add in a unique requirement.

I also like the outreach capabilities from emails to LI connection requests to drop in VM's - we can meet candidates where they are.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

Data can be old sometimes, causing emails to bounce

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to spend time creating unique boolean strings, PIN sources for me. It can quickly identify a list of candidates and provide filtering options that used to take me hours. In addition, the campaign option is awesome, giving me the ability to personalize each email to ensure a higher response rate.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin H. | Principal/Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Pin?**

As the owner of a boutique agency, I’ve had the opportunity to work with several recruiting platforms, and PIN truly stands out.

PIN is remarkably easy to use and even easier to implement. The interface is intuitive, thus I could hit the ground running without a steep learning curve. The features are thoughtfully designed to identify candidates and streamline outreach , and they continue to deliver real value every day. What sets PIN apart even further is their outstanding customer support—responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us succeed.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

Honestly, I haven’t found a downside yet. If anything, I appreciate that PIN is consistently updating and refining the tool to make it more efficient, which shows their commitment to continuous improvement.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PIN is solving the challenge of managing recruiting efficiently without the need for multiple disconnected tools. As a boutique agency, we need solutions that save time, reduce manual effort, and keep everything organized in one place. PIN does exactly that—it simplifies sourcing, tracking, and communication, which allows us to focus more on building relationships with candidates and clients rather than getting bogged down in administrative tasks. The benefit for us has been greater efficiency, smoother collaboration within our team, and ultimately faster, higher-quality placements.

 ### 23. Pin is the future one-stop-shop for recruiting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben C. | Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Pin?**

Pin's product is still very nascent today, but it is one of the best tools I've used in my decade-plus career in Talent Acquisition. Their AI sourcing tools feed candidates that are spot-on for the role's hard requirements, and give the ability to search for parameters that have historically been difficult with LinkedIn, X-ray, and/or Boolean search strings alone. I'm a big fan of the product already, and have already seen tons of high-value new features in the short time that I've used it.

I was able to jump into the product and start using it immediately without any tutorial or introduction. Very light implementation, and super fast responses to feedback/bug reports.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

Pin is still pretty new, and while they're releasing new features rapidly, they have a lot of building to do to catch up to some other products on the market. That said, the features today are table-stakes for sourcing and outreach, and the quality of the tool is unparalleled in the industry.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing automation, top-of-funnel, email sequencing, send-as team member.

 ### 24. Beyond expectations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia C. | Head of Talent Acquisition & Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Pin?**

Even in its infancy, the product deliver beyond any sourcing tool even from tech giants that I've ever seen. It considers a lot of relevant data and created deeply in the mindset of a recruiter.

It's reliable and accelerates sourcing. Gets rid of the cluttter native linkedin searches produce. The data is updated and not old like many sourcing tools are.

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

It's new and can't wait for more to be developed BUT it is already and far beyond!

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gets rid of the noise and actually finds relevant candidates. Currently 5-12% of tight linkedin searches pull up relevant candidates. Pin is over 60% so far and more has yet to be developed.

 ### 25. Love it--make recruiting easier

**What do you like best about Pin?**

It is still in its growing stages but so far I'm loving it. AI is wonderful and it makes my life much easier when searching for candidates. I never could find people using boolean principles and with PIN search capabilities I dont have to think about it ever again.
People are The Best at PIN

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

I havent seen anything I dislike about Pin

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

helps me find passive candidates

 ### 26. Pin - Taking your recruiting to the next level!

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Pin?**

**What do you dislike about Pin?**

No complaints so far. The product is top tier.

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pin solves the problem of spending countless hours of scanning through hundreds of profiles that simply aren't a fit. It has saved us time and money, and time IS money!

**What problems is Pin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Pin to find engineering candidates who were at successful companies when they were early
