&lt;p&gt;From what I&#39;ve gathered, the error tends to sit more on the portal receiving side, since that&#39;s usually where mapping goes wrong, a field gets truncated, a photo order changes, or a status update lags behind what the MLS actually shows. The MLS data itself is more often correct at the source, it&#39;s just that each portal maps fields into its own format slightly differently, and that translation step is where things tend to break rather than the original listing being wrong to begin with.&lt;/p&gt;
