What I like best about Paymode is how much it simplifies vendor payments. Moving from paper checks to electronic payments cut processing time and reduced manual work for our team. The remittance detail with each payment made reconciliation much easier, and having payment status visible in one place cut down on vendor calls asking “where’s my payment?” It also added a layer of security compared with mailing checks, which mattered for us given our volume of subcontractor and supplier payments. The biggest challenge was getting vendors enrolled. Some smaller subcontractors and suppliers were hesitant to sign up or needed several follow-ups, so we still had to keep paper checks running for part of our vendor base. They have fees. I dont like to pay to receive money that is owed. They have an extra secure website and have to jump through hoops to get logged in. I like that Paymode is a great B2B payment platform designed to transition organizations away from manual paychecks. As an administrator, I use it daily to manage vendor distribution, batch payments, approvals, and track real-time payment status within our Energy supply chain. I find the user interface slightly dated and dense for non-administrative users, which requires a slight learning curve to locate annual reporting options. Like it or not, upselling tactics are everywhere and Paymode was no exception. There is a constant push for to use the paid version of the program instead of the free version. There is nothing really that i dislike about paymode. maybe that they charge the vendor for premium services. I think the charges are a bit high and it does make some vendors not want to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the accessibility of Paymode and find it relatively easy to use. I definitely love the ease of use—it's pretty straightforward and doesn't take long to catch on. I do think that there are a few bugs at times, which make the system lag. I wish there was better communication when there's a system-wide issue, so we're not left thinking it's an individual problem. It would be really helpful if they sent out a mass email or some form of communication to let us know, so we don’t waste our time troubleshooting when it’s actually on their end.
