The software itself is fairly fast, reliable, and straightforward, once you understand how it works. **What do you dislike about McKesson Pharmacy Systems?** Occasional glitches and a rather stiff, bland interface make it inaccessible without some experience. The software forces you to work in an odd, narrow workflow, which can feel cramped, and lack of good search is a killer. **Recommendations to others considering McKesson Pharmacy Systems:** Be prepared to be locked into the whole McKesson system for ordering and inventory management. If that works for you and your Rx management software, this is a great end-to-end option. I have been using it for 5 years and have helped train people on it. All of the ques are very self explanatory. **What do you dislike about McKesson Pharmacy Systems?** I dislike how time consuming it can be to work on a prescription. McKesson is a good system to use if you have multiple employees in different work flow areas. For example if one does incoming scripts, one does data entry and one does product despensing and counting. At my pharmacy its usually just myself and the pharmacist so it's a lot of bouncing back and forth between ques **Recommendations to others considering McKesson Pharmacy Systems:** Mckesson is so user friendly and was the first pharmacy system I learned to use. It has helped me learn other pharmacy systems and it is a great product to use. I like that I can print screens and it all makes sense when showing break downs to patients **What problems is McKesson Pharmacy Systems solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to quickly run accurate claims and even run test claims for patients. There was an ease of access to the consumer. It was fairly easy to order items through McKesson and ensure inventory remained stock at optimum level. **What do you dislike about McKesson Pharmacy Systems?** Although the system worked very well most of the time, there were times when the pharmacy experienced shortages and backorders due to the site. System crashes all the time. Takes forever to print.
