I am very happy with Paymode. However, customer support response time can be explored for more satisfactory experiences. If it can be made faster, it would be great.

I really like that Paymode reduces fraudulent activity and has lower processing costs. It's less glitchy compared to the software we used before, and I find it more user-friendly, making it easier for me to navigate. The initial setup was a breeze, and we were able to self-install without any issues. Anytime we needed assistance, it was always available, which is great.

Integration with the accounting software and easiness to use. Paymode is also a performing way of payment and has an efficient customer support team. AI enabled, it offers more advanced future for automatizing payments.

I would say the pricing for the usage is not much competitive comparing to other similar software. I would need to have a comparative analysis to support or cancel my answer.

there is nothing I dislike about paymode so far as it has been very useful for both personal and professional matters when it comes to invoicing and auto-pay set up

it is solving the issue of tracking invoicing that I was not able to figure out earlier. paymode allows for easy tracking. also security- I dont have to worry about that anymore

there is nothing I dislike about pay mode. I have only had positive experiences using it since we started working with them. I would say the support could be a little better.

Centain workflows, especially when handling exceptions or special payment cases are not always very flexible.
Although I understand it is good for security, but vendor enrollment process is sometimes slow.

I find Paymode very easy to use and appreciate its excellent service. The software makes it easy to download daily payments and remittances, which I find really convenient. I also value the remittances advice feature. The initial setup process was very easy, which was a nice surprise. I used Paymode to download into our Cash App tool, and everything has been good so far.

Nothing except for receiving electronic payments to my business checking account

**What do you dislike about Paymode?**

I don't think any of the features are at all impressive or functional. It's somewhat confusing, if anything, and extremely frustrating when you're trying to solve a problem like getting your transfers to your bank correctly when you've made an error and it takes days for someone to review it. By that time, they've sent the payment back to the payee. Horrible customer service. Customer service agents are very nice, but they're based in India. They have no idea what's going on.

So far, Paymode hasn't managed to solve any of my problems.

Its user interface is easy to navigate and the integration between Paymode and Nexus seems to work well.

**What do you dislike about Paymode?**

The transition from NexusConnect to Paymode was poorly rolled out causing an uptick is customer issues and frustration from poor customer service response quality and time. Paymode will also deactivate payer connections with no warning, nor does it give us, the client, a rejection reason. We only know that this occurs when a vendor reaches out asking us why we rejected them.

Paymode makes it easy for vendors to connect to us to send over invoices.

**What do you like best about Paymode?**

The platform is easy to use. You just log in and view your remittances. 
The funds are deposited right into your account. They send a notification when a payment arrives so there is no guessing and only have to log in to view your payments.

**What do you dislike about Paymode?**

They have fees. I dont like to pay to receive money that is owed.  They have an extra secure website and have to jump through hoops to get logged in. Have to give your cell number to get a code on login every single time. And they make you change your password all the time.

**What problems is Paymode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company only receives payments from others who have opted to pay in that way. ACH is how this works. Its a simple way to get funded without having to wait for checks and then going to the bank.

**What do you like best about Paymode?**

Approving and Paying invoices are a necessary evil for every company.  Paymode makes it "easy". Multiple ways to get invoices into the system.  Easy workflows. Great payment options from paper check, ACH or credit card.  They are a great business partner to boot.

**What do you dislike about Paymode?**

Bottomline owned Paymode and they are integrating Nexus Payables/Connect.   It has been a rocky road, but things are coming together.  Anyone starting now will miss all of the integration  growth pains.

Approving and  paying invoices... Efficiently!

Our department’s current system involves using Nexus in cutting manual checks in house and stuffing envelopes, so what’s not to like about integrating Paymode? I am looking forward to migrating over to take advantage of electronic payments and having the service be the ones to sign up vendors.

I am transitioning from user to user/administrator so I haven’t been exposed to a lot of the pain points yet.

Our department will be transitioning to electronic payments which should decrease paper pushing and ease the load of the line AP specialist. Looking forward to ocr as well.

The automation is great. I like that it seems to continuously evolve. Invoices being uploaded automatically is a plus as well.

The updates will help with this, but the process of splitting images with multiple invoices is not great right now. Having to log in multiple places (Nexus Payables/Nexus Connect) isn’t great either. But both issues seem to be getting corrected the  the transition.

**What do you like best about Paymode?**

Making payments through Paymode-X is very easy.  You simply send them a file with the payment information and they make the payment by check or ACH.  Paymode-X houses the banking information for our vendors so I don't have to.  They verify the validity of each vendor and bank information, so I don't have to.  They provide good remittance details to vendors, so I don't have to.  I can use Paymode-X as much or as often as I need to.  I can future date payments. I can verify information on the Paymode-X website and can provide proof of payments to vendors when needed just by using their website. If the file I send to Paymode-X has an error, they alert me quickly as to what line has the error and give clear instructions on how to re-submit the file for payment processing.

**What do you dislike about Paymode?**

Like with many companies, customer support on the phone can be difficult to achieve; I believe this because everyone is busy.  However, going through email or their portal works good.  My customer service representative stays in contact with me regularly.

**What problems is Paymode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company has been using Paymode-X for nearly 10 years, so most of the kinks have been worked out.  The program is working very well as it fits our needs, vendors get paid and we have little or no risk of making payments to a non-intended party.  We continue to work on getting more vendors to sign with Paymode-X to get ACH payments versus paper checks.

I can't think of anything.  I enjoy using Paymode.

We just use Paymode to issue ACH payments to our vendors.  They are easy to work with, and want to make sure we find the solution easy to use.  I feel that they have a top notch cyber-security team.  Which is very important to us, since a lot of sensitive information is sent in our transactions to Paymode and then on to our vendors.

Once set up, it seems easy to access remittance advice. The customer service reps are nice, if not always helpful... plan to spend a fair amount of time on the phone with customer service.

Want informative emails? It costs extra.
Want fast payouts? It costs extra.
It costs us extra money to GET paid by our customers. Overall, it seems like a heavy system to process payments, and the fees are pushed to the person getting paid.

Paymode is supposed to be paying us faster than the last payment processor. I didn't choose to work with Paymode. Our customer uses them for AP automation, and we have yet to see if the money flows any faster.

There is no upside for our organization if a fee is being charged.

I signed up for Paymode-X at the request of one of our vendors.  I was told there was no fee, but when I signed up,  the options for different levels of service were not clear. I called and was told I needed to switch to Classic membership.  I was on hold for over 20 minutes and cust svc said they would have to have Vendor Success Team call me.  
  
My call has not been returned.  My email has not been returned from July 6th.  I filed a case on August 8th.  I have had no response.

I don't see how to cancel my account on-line.  In fact, I can't even delete my bank account. 

I do not want this service. Please advise how to cancel and delete my account.  I'll am providing this information to our vendors who suggest that we use your service.

Paymode-X has only casued wasted time in trying to accomodate our vendor.

Use of worflows makes tracking and processing invoices seamless and easy. With the ability to create workflows by GL code, by person or by entity among others there has not been any requests by managment that we have not been able to accommodate. Although I don't have to contact them often, their customer support team is always knowledgable and quick to respond. Happy Customer for almost 10 years now!!

I would like more types of email reminders but this is a small issue. Great product!

Long time Nexus user and recently implemented Nexus at my current company.  With Nexus we get better integration into our accounting system and improved customer support.

There is no downside to using Nexus.  Setup was simple and the implementation consultant was great.

We now have better integreation into our accounting system with Nexus that will allow us to track and report on construction projects more efficiently.

Professional and knowledgeable sales, support, and business reps.  They are responsive to requests whether we are asking them to research an issue, provide further education, or add new features.   Our ability to easily create custom, scheduled reports and the reliability of their network is another positive.  The integration with MRI was easy and had no issues.

Would like to be able to add fields to the search capability.

Eliminate scanning of invoices, coding them by hand, getting approval and knowing who has the invoice.
A significant number of our vendors enter their invoices into the Nexus Vendor Portal eliminating paper invoices delivered through the mail.

Payments come in without me needing to take any action. Direct deposit is speedy and efficient compared to other payment services we've used in the past for vendor partners

Payments aren't displayed with enough identifying characters without having to click into each physical payment to identify which specific transaction I'm looking at. This makes reconciling our accounts each month a little more time consuming, and displaying better identifiers on the bulk transaction page would make the process a little more seamless

We receive electronic payments for 1000+ invoices annually, and Paymode-X has allowed us to manage the reconciliation of our accounts monthly by receiving funds faster, and matching them to our invoices quickly, therein saving us time & money

The ease of getting paid and knowing when my money will be available. I love how it shows me what invoices were paid out and which ones are still pending. I would recommend pay mode x to any business owner with a small business or large business. They make it simple and it does not cost much to get your money and keep track of it. The customer service is amazing and they can solve your problems with ease. Don't sit and wait and wonder if a check is in the mail or when you're going to get paid just get Paymode-X. You won't regret it.

**What do you dislike about Paymode?**

Honestly, I can't find much that is wrong with Paymode-X. The only thing I could say that I would change is the description of which invoice was paid I would also add a picture of the invoice or add a description of the invoice so that when I look to see what payment was made I don't have to go through a process. But even then I still choose Paymode-X over any other payment platform I use with other companies.

**What problems is Paymode solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Play mode X solves the issue of knowing if an invoice has already been paid or when I should expect to receive the payment. I have gone through several times to check if I received payment from an invoice and Paymode-X tells me with ease. I love it especially for a small business like mine where I have trouble keeping track of payments and invoices.

I only use Paymode-X because a vendor I work with requires that our business uses it to verify payment. The only redeeming thing about the experience is that we get a notification when a payment has processed. But that is hardly worth the high processing fees associated with using the service.

The high processing fees we have to cover on behalf of the client make Paymode-X something we're unlikely to use in any other circumstances. If there was a way for the customer to cover these fees on behalf of the vendor that would be ideal--since they are requiring this service rather than ACH or payment by check.

As a consultant vendor serving a client, Paymode-X is not solving any problems for our business besides ensuring we get paid for services rendered. There are other less expensive and even faster services that we would advocate for if the customer would be open to moving away from Paymode-X

Paymode allows us to see a payment up to a week before we receive it. A simple log-in every other day allows me access to see what is coming to us so that I don't have to reach out to the management company to see where the payment is. It also gives us insight of where most of our payments come from.  It is one of the best platforms we use.

**What do you dislike about Paymode?**

I really don't have any issues with Paymode- X. I would possibly enjoy a training seminar to see if I am missing out on any of the features.

I work on collections also, and have to call when there is a late payment. I can check paymode-x and see what is coming and it prevents a call that would have otherwise had to be made.

I love that Paymode-x emails me when there's an invoice that gets paid and its super easy to click through that email to read those details.  Once i get those emails, the funds get deposited into my account by the next day.

The only thing that i dislike about the way the details of the payment are shown on the dashboard is that i have to click on "view details" in order to find out which invoice got paid - i wish they just listed it on the dashboard page to make that process more efficient for me.

they're are solving the payment process for me by allowing me to receive payments extremely efficiently so i don't have to rely on the mail to get my funds.  I rely completely on paymode x for certain customers and there have not been any issues.

I find Paymode to be the most finicky and hard to navigate of all the payment processing services that we use.  It is most definitely not our preferred payment method but is the only one that some of our customers use so...

Paymode allows us to receive ACH payments from customers.  We definitely do not use it as our primary method because it is too finicky.  But for those customers who refuse to pay any other way, this works well.

I like that our vendors can initiate payment on Paymode X, and we receive it within a day.  I always receive remittance information from Paymode X, so I know how to apply the amount we receive.  The process is seamless and faster than waiting for checks to come in the mail

**What do you dislike about Paymode?**

The main thing I dislike is the fees; they are costly.  The website is easy to understand and easy to set up an account.  It would be nice if it was easier to add multiple accounts that you want the ACH to be deposited into

Paymode X has made it easier for our vendors to send us payments faster and more efficiently.  We also do not have to wait for checks in the mail and payments being lost.
