I had used another payroll software for over 20 years, so I was nervous to switch my payroll to a new company. However, Patriot's customer service made the transition as easy as possible. I have had several questions as we switched over, and every time I've been able to reach someone quickly, either by chat or on the phone. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get in contact with a live person, and they have always taken the time to fully answer my questions. Now that we have completely transitioned to Patriot, I'm very pleased with the ease of running payroll each week.

It was important to me that Patriot integrated with my previous software. The integration setup was quick and efficient and has performed as promised. The cost-savings wasn't the most important thing to me, but I am happy to be saving money on payroll each month. I appreciate the ability to control all aspects of my payroll and taxes. The only aspect of Patriot's software that I haven't found as convenient as my previous company is the 4 or 2 day lead time needed to get payroll in. It is both simple and deep. You can easily run payroll for employees, contractors, on a monthly or bi-weekly or a one-off basis.

The data integrates well with quickbooks and other platforms.

Completing payroll becomes very easy to do on a regular basis.

The pricing is competitive, often beating less competent competitors.

If you run into issues, the support is STELLAR. People will bend over backwards to solve your problems and issues.

Onboarding or switching from another payroll service provider is always complicated, but Patriot's customer service and onboarding people make it really easy.

The system performs exceptionally well once you are onboarded.

Patriot Software has been a fantastic accounting solution for our business. The interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy for anyone to navigate without a steep learning curve. Connecting with third-party tools is simple and fits seamlessly into our existing workflow. The platform performs reliably and consistently, which gives us confidence when managing our financials. The one area to be aware of is that working with international vendor addresses and payments requires a few workarounds, as the platform is built with U.S. businesses in mind.

I really appreciate Patriot Software for its access to data and reporting without having to request it. It offers many helpful and useful reports that meet all of our needs and more. I also found a worker's comp wages report I could use for an audit, which saved me from having to build one. The initial setup was pretty easy, and support resolved a minor hiccup for me. It was easy to set up, and it’s been just as easy to adjust when things change—for example, when state unemployment rates change or when my i401k contributions change. I haven’t run into any downsides so far. Any challenges I’ve had while using it were fully resolved by emailing customer service. Patriot has the most helpful customer service I've ever experienced. They are quick to respond and always friendly. They've helped me with everything from how to get the software to do what I needed to explaining specific payroll tax laws I was confused about.

I love how easy it is to set up payroll with Patriot Software; I managed to get it done myself without any assistance and completed the first payroll within hours. The fast direct deposit, getting paychecks out with a 2-day turnaround, makes the staff very happy. I like how Patriot Software keeps the payroll process simple and easy to figure out. Running payroll literally takes me 5-10 minutes each time, which reduces the overwhelm of the process and ensures that I can focus on important work while our employees are all getting paid on time. I also appreciate that it does all of the calculations for tax withdrawals, does the processing, and makes approving timesheets and paying our employees super simple for me. Sometimes it's hard to get my questions answered about specific things. It would help if there was more explanation about the standard hours because our employees are exempt.
