# If you discontinue your subscription will you still have access to the data stored within the application.

I have heard that with some payroll software subscriptions, if you cancel you no longer have access to your historical data. I would like to know how you handle cancellations.

Thanks for your question. While I can't answer for other software companies I can say that Patriot does not block or delete your data after your subscription has been canceled. You will still have access to all of your reports. However, we also offer the option to print our reports for those customers who want to "go old school" and keep a paper record.

From my experience, no you do not still have access. Please don't quote me because if there is a way then I must have overlooked it.

As far as Patriot goes, you will have access to your payroll records after an account has closed as long as the account is in good standing.
