"Intuitive User Experience"
What do you like best about Parse.ly?

The most helpful is being able to view all my content in one user-friendly interface. Having the ability to switch back from pulse and historical helps me to give a good analysis of what is happening on my posts and on my site sections. Parsely makes it easy for me to drop out the pertinent information I need for a succinct grasp on what is working and what is not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Parse.ly?

I do wish that there would be a feature to allow me to compare time frames. There are recurring subject matter and posts that happen every year. The ability to have a year over year or month over month analysis of the same tags would give a great look into performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and insightful on most fronts"
What do you like best about Parse.ly?

With the settings currently enabled, I have access to all of my organization's top posts for the last 10 minutes and for the entire day, along with a comparison between current and past traffic. For example. it currently says that "numbers math an average Tuesday." This is all available on the main dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Parse.ly?

My biggest gripe (and it's really a small issue), is the breakdown of traffic sources. Under the "social" tab, I can see the mount of traffic coming from Facebook and Twitter, for example. However, while I can see the specific Twitter post driving traffic, the same is not true for Facebook tabs. When it comes to that platform, every link sends me to the Facebook homepage instead of the post that's driving traffic. This feature just needs some enhancing, in my opinion. "Parse.ly Makes Learning About Data Pretty Fun"
What do you like best about Parse.ly?

I like that Parse.ly is easy-to-use and easily tracks the traffic you're looking for on your website. The design is clean, and gives me the two things I always want to know: What the top stories are for the day, and what readers are currently viewing at any given moment. I also like that it gives you specific information about where traffic comes from, such as tweets or the actual website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Parse.ly?

The only thing I find actively annoying is that Parse.ly is unable to track where traffic is coming from on Facebook or Instagram. So, you can't identify specific traffic is coming from, which is weird, especially since those are two big social media platforms. The Parse.ly mobile website also has crashed frequently for me. "Excellent real-time dashboards"
What do you like best about Parse.ly?

We have a big screen TV in the office and we love the way the real-time dashboard looks. The sparklines help us see how and when each story we publish impacts the site traffic as a whole, and having it available and public keeps everyone informed. Also, integrating with our institution's SAML single sign-on system was easy so every employee has access to this data and can do a deeper dive on their own. What do you dislike about Parse.ly?

I wish the API was more affordable; I'd like to incorporate this data in other places and keep up with it in our custom data warehouse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very happy with Parse.ly"
What do you like best about Parse.ly?

I find Parse.ly very easy to use, first and foremost. Seeing an article's analytics is easy and useful. Being able to track the history and see which taxos are having success is a handy feature as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Parse.ly?

I would like to be able to see geographical information in real-time to see where the clicks are coming from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Parse.ly?

Parse.ly is very easy to use and provides comprehensive data at a glance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for quick, actionable analytics"
What do you like best about Parse.ly?

Real-time feedback is useful for making fast changes and optimizations. Lots of good referral data. Customer support is quick to provide answers or help solve issues. It's a very usable platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Parse.ly?

Reporting could be much stronger + more detailed—not very customizable to your needs. Wish it had clearer SEO insights. Its Currents tool is interesting but not quite fully developed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, but powerful statistics and analysis for journalists"
What do you like best about Parse.ly?

Unlike most other analytics tools, Parsely makes it very easy to track editorial/content performance by author, topic, section, etc.. Historical data is there, and relatively quick to access. The fact that the entire editorial staff can use it without training is a plus, and writers report that the information is very helpful. Compare this to Google Analytics, which is completely inaccessible to people without training, and extremely hard to get content/editorial data from (since it is really designed for eCommerce performance). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Parse.ly?

Uptime is generally great, but there are outages from time to time. That said, data loss hasn't happened to us during downtimes, so it hasn't been a huge issue. I'd also love to see 2FA supported. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accurate and fast!"
What do you like best about Parse.ly?

I appreciate the real-time numbers that allow me react quickly to what our audience is curious about. I also appreciate that the data can be broken down historically and by author. It has been useful for me to track the reach and success of my work by looking at the stats by name or by a certain timeless. This then informs the content I cover in the future. I also appreciate how user-friendly and easily interactive the interface is. I usually don't have problems roaming the platform for information. Being able to quickly see what posts are performing well for the day and within the past ten minutes is especially important in my role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Parse.ly?

I am not sure what I dislike at this time. If anything, I would love to see how Parsley can be integrated through social media in the future. In my position, I don't have access to that data or those stats, if they exist for my company, which I presume they do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
