What do you like best about Parse.ly?

Parsely is helping my team understand where our content performs the best and at what times, which informs our publishing and content decisions. My team has learned that certain times work best for certain new stories, so we sometimes hold off on publishing something to wait for the appropriate time that will ring in the most page views. Instant page view counts of stories and posted material. Cumulative page views of that material from days, months and years past.

Logins aren't always smooth even with saved passwords.

Byline, credit lines lead to several calculations in the page views.

Don't understand how the same author can have 50 views for one story one day and 50 for another the same day instead of just 100 total. Happens all the time on our Parse.ly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Parse.ly?

Parse.ly's ease of use is perfect for individuals who are not high experienced with using all functions of Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics. It's the perfect campion for journalists, editors and sales people.

The ability for writers to have access to all their metrics is invaluable. The ability for the sales organization to track branded content with such an ease-of-use without involving a company's analytics team saves countless amounts of time.

The ability for the social media and audience development teams to track which content on which social platform is performing the best is a live saver.

Parse.ly also has useful API integrations that allow for optimized and personalized recommendation widgets. The API can also used to personalize email newsletter creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Parse.ly?

Some people miss the reporting of real-time on-site concurrents which Parse.ly does not report. If you are an advance analytics user and are used to applying segments, Parse.ly is limited here as well.

Occasionally, there are some small reporting outages, but those are usually corrected retroactively in a short period of time.

Implementation of Parse.ly on some of the new up and coming news apps and platforms take time before Parsel.ly integrates them into their tagging solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Parse.ly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Parse.ly allows me to identify trending stories, patterns with our audience. It allows us to hold the editorial team accountable to both the amount of articles written and the traffic from those articles.

What do you like best about Parse.ly?

It is very nice the system seems extensive and Parse.ly maintains constant communication with our database, in addition to also performing as a marketing and analysis software, it seems to me that the analytical system is very strategic and works in an incredible way, the ability to connect to the company can be very broad , and that goes directly to the base and to the marketing area to optimize the company, definitely the analytics system is incredible because it is not only possible to monitor but also to eliminate garbage and duplicate data, it seems to me a very complete system. What do you dislike about Parse.ly?

I have no point or drawback regarding the system, however he could indicate that the APIs with which it works works very well although they are very fast, it is tedious to constantly update this service and a good API can be expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Seeing the increase in company traffic, such as: sales, web, and especially new data, now with Parse.ly we are much more optimal and we can find our website in a more attractive and optimal way, I must indicate that the system Parse.ly is very similar to Google analytics, the analysis is very noticeable showing the balance of visits and sales in a general way, so we are happy because it maintains our web system and optimal marketing.

Our results have been good and the experience satisfactory, however this platform has some minor flaws and errors, and is not as solid as Google or Adobe Analytics, if they improve this Parse.ly could offer a better performance to the user, this will not it means it's bad. We use this platform mainly as an analysis tool for the news organization to see all the data about the content of the websites, also the business intelligence and advertising teams use it for newsrooms of all levels, administrative editors, superiors and reporters. Provides tools to track traffic in real time, as well as a map where users go from the beginning. Our work team obtained greater work fluency and time savings, something that is very valuable to us since we can channel it in other areas. We are happy with the results. What do you like best about Parse.ly?
