The automation aspects cut down the time especially when making detailed maps and sets me free to work on other part of the design. The built-in graphics suite is also a nice addition. **What do you dislike about Ortelius?** Ortelius can not offer the possibility to work with 3D maps. This functionality’s lack of existence is something that hamper me to create a perfect execution of some ideas of the maps that I design. **What problems is Ortelius solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ortelius has made it easier to design quality maps than ever before. The automation features help in getting rid of time-consuming tasks, and the design tools let me tailor every map to the project as needed. ### 2. The in-built graphics suite to ensure that my maps are not only eye pleasing but also contain the necessary data. **What do you dislike about Ortelius?** Ortelius has no a collaborative feature at all. For example, as a researcher involved in a large study with a team, I cannot share works in progress or collaborate on maps with my colleagues. **What problems is Ortelius solving and how is that benefiting you?** In terms of the elements of cartography Ortelius deals with the drawbacks of map making.
