**What do you like best about Orlo?**

Orlo is a rather straight forward and friendly way to reach the wider group of people within community.  I do find that all essentials are included and following them seems to be no problem at all. Restrictions regarding letters and photos are good to keep the control of the content. The app can be used as frequent as needed and in case of any issues there is customer support to help at any time

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

I think the selection of "pictures"/faces ect is rahter basic and if possible could be improved. However, it is easy to work with what is avaliable.

**What problems is Orlo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Orlo can deliver important information to wider community, provide people with ongoing community events and encourage them to participate 
Information sharing seems to work absolutely fine therefore, more of our communities come together.

**What do you like best about Orlo?**

Orlo makes managing a range of social media channels easy, from scheduling posts to reporting on campaigns. The platform will be able to cope as we scale up the business so helps us to futureproof our marketing strategy.

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

Some of the features aren't as intuitive to use, but the customer support team have quickly provided more instructions and answered any questions I have.

**What problems is Orlo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily keeping an eye across all social media channels, scheduling and managing a content calender and tracking content that we might be able to share and comment on. As the business scales, we'll use Orlo more for campaigns and reporting.

**What do you like best about Orlo?**

The inbox feature makes it easy to reply to the public. The Content Calendar feature is a great way to stay on top of what we're posting. 

Orlo makes editing images on posts easy and provides valuable insights and analytics to help inform our social media strategy.

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

Sometimes the platform can be a bit slow when uploading videos, which can annoy our users. It also can be a bit tricky to set up and maintain the dashboard feature but once you get the hang of it, it's fairly straightforward.

**What problems is Orlo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to struggle to keep up with our incoming social media messages. Orlo has made it much easier to reply to the public. It's also helped us review our content - see what works and doesn't.

**What do you like best about Orlo?**

Bulk tag and actioning posts are incredibly useful for my role. All of the filters are designed well and easy to manage. I haven't ever used a competitor so cannot comment on that.

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

Would be useful to have a bulk "hide comment" option as we receive some spam/bot posts sometimes in large volumes and have to hide each post individually which can take some time.

**What problems is Orlo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned this platform is easy to use. New starters find the platform relatively easy to use which helps with social training. I also find the Orlo customer team very helpful.

Orlo is a powerful social media platform that has many great features such as Inbox, Campaigns, Anaytics, Content calender as well as the new powerful Inisghts

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

The mobile app could be a better user experience that has all the features as the desktop as the current App seems basic and would the user to have better experience.

**What problems is Orlo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Orlo, we are able to manage all of our social channels under one software and we can manage our mentions, messages and campaign. This saves time and effort.

The campaigns function is extremely useful - allowing you to group and then track the effectiveness of individual campaigns.

Not being able to edit posts across platforms simultaneously once scheduled.

Simple scheduling saves a lot of time whilst the back end of the system means we can track and analyse easily.

**What do you like best about Orlo?**

Orlo is a comprehensive multi-purpose tool that allows organisations to manage many different social media accounts in one place.

At the time of writing this review I am working for a local authority, we have over 12 service areas with their own profiles, pages and groups across multiple social networks. Orlo makes managing these exceptionally easy. 

Scheduling content across multiple platforms at once saves time and resource.

Having been an Orlo customer for over six years, it's important to note that the company continually strives to improve the products that they produce. They continually ask their users for feedback and take it on board - this is what really appeals to me.

The user interface has been improved drastically throughout the past five years to the point where it now rivals many networks natively.

The team at Orlo are exceptionally helpful and are always accommodating. From the introduction of the product, ongoing customer success and continual training and development, the team has always been there when we need them.

Their pricing is very competitive compared to other providers, especially for a local authority with a limited budget.

Overall, I would highly recommend Orlo as a social media management tool.

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

As with all third-party social media management products, Orlo is sometimes limited by what the APIs from the social networks allow them to use. For example, Instagram has only just been introduced and requires further development to make it as user-friendly as Facebook creator studio. There are certain things that one must use the platforms natively for, such as monitoring Facebook groups as this isn't possible through the API.

Sometimes the user interface doesn't function 100% correctly when inserting links or tagging pages into content production, but this isn't a huge issue.

The analysis section could be improved; however I'm aware that this is on their roadmap for 2021.

**Recommendations to others considering Orlo:**

Orlo could be just what you need to manage social media in your organisation. If you have lots of accounts and lots of people accessing them, then Orlo will help you manage that all easily and confidently. The team are also exceptionally helpful and will be able to work with you to achieve your goals.

**What problems is Orlo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By working with services, we have integrated Orlo into the wider organisation, including customer services and reputation management. This means that social media no longer sits on the periphery of the organisation, but is embedded within it.

We save time and resource by scheduling content ahead of time and across multiple social media platforms at once.

We provide better customer service now that departments have adopted Orlo.

Departments are now more confident in using social media because Orlo is easy to use and is backed with robust governance.

The application goes for an update without any previous announcement, which I don't like.

It's a one-stop-shop for our channel integration, including Instagram. The new Orlo updates are helping us grow our reach - being able to schedule our content at relevant times straight onto our feed using Orlo is a no-brainer. It's giving us more time to focus on content creation and talking with our audience.

Nothing that springs to mind, and if there is, the support is really good.

The time it takes to monitor our interactions across channels. Orlo helps to solve this by having everything in one place. I love how we can then produce reports on this.

Orlo is a super user-friendly tool. It's allowed us to have meaningful conversations with our customers, ensuring we can reply in a timely fashion - especially when we see a large increase in traffic (which can happen very suddenly within the transport sector). It's also helped us improve our teams' organisation as everyone is across our scheduled content and can easily track performance.

There's not much to dislike - a great tool to manage your social media presence and track the performance of your team and your content.

It brings all of your conversations across your channels into one place. It's also helped us understand our busier periods throughout the week so that we can plan accordingly.

The stats in the reporting section don't match the stats in the social media platform's own insights, so don't really use it.

Its ease of use is something really remarkable, the fact that it can do everything I need in a matter of minutes is quite practical for me, its integrations with different social networks is very useful especially because it has allowed us to maintain strategies in multiple Platforms such as Facebook, instagram and Twitter that ensure us increase our presence in social networks in a simple and fast way, their reports provide very useful information when evaluating the effectiveness and performance of our proposed strategies, which has allowed us Identify faults if they exist and correct them immediately to prevent the problem from spreading further

Too good to have something to complain about this tool, I recommend them to everyone

**What do you like best about Orlo?**

Orlo has been the platform of choice in a few organisations I have worked for and it is easy to see why. It’s simple to use, has a great layout & the sheer volume of stuff you can schedule is impressive.

The analytical side is also a winner, allowing you to measure things like post sentiment. It also works across multiple social media platforms, saving a lot of time and effort. 

The fact that they are UK-based is also a big bonus, especially when it comes to customer service and ironing out any issues. This has been a barrier when I have used other platforms thst have been based abroad. The training is also first class and gives you a thorough overview of what the platform delivers. 

Orlo integrates organic and paid social media, analytics & media monitoring seamlessly. They also offer a lot of added value through a series of useful and insightful webinars.

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

So far so good so I can't pinpoint anything!

**Recommendations to others considering Orlo:**

Give it a go. The demo session also gives you a fantastic overview of everything Orlo has to offer.

We are under constant pressure when it comes to delivering evaluation reports. Orlo saves us a lot of time buy pulling social media evaluations in a matter of seconds.

**What do you like best about Orlo?**

The tool, which is primarily used for inhouse community management, has allowed the communications team to interact with the brands consumers and resolve any issues quickly, easily and efficiently. 

The system is really easy to use and get to grips with; everything is organised logically so it’s easy to follow with the menus and colour coded systems. Orlo allows the team to monitor and respond to all messages and includes other features such as scheduling content/campaign planning and reporting using analytics  - it’s made the reporting process a lot more efficient. 

Training sessions were offered to the team up front to get used to the system with opportunities to try out the tool and ask questions along the way. This training was very thorough and useful. The team now has regular catch up’s with James, who is on hand when we need him to solve any problems, listen to our feedback or to make recommendations on how to fully utilise the tool. 

Orlo are always looking for feedback and ways to improve – a very innovative company!

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

Small tweaks could be made to improve the system, including the ability to respond to Instagram direct messages and 'like' content on the platform to improve efficiently. 

The overall campaign reporting could be a little more accurate, giving the user the ability to select measures e.g. reach or by platform. 

The monthly calendar could also be a little more detailed. 

A “monthly tips” email to keep users on top of new features or how to get the most out of the system would also be greatly appreciated.

Highly recommend! A great company and very easy to work with. Orlo has improved the way we work! 

Take full advantage of the training and introduction sessions. Ask lots of questions and see how it can benefit you and your company.

**What do you like best about Orlo?**

It allows us to work together as one team. We can pull together a number of departments including customer service, HR and communications. The scheduling is easy to use and when using the system things quickly become intuitive. The help section is very useful and the web chat service is excellent being able to resolve issues quickly. Also additional support and regular chats with Orlo to see how we are using the product and how the product is developing makes you feel you are part of the evolving product not.

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

The contrast on fonts, it is only a minor thing but with light coloured fonts on a light coloured background they are sometimes hard to spot and read. Also when bulk uploads have done the sometimes show as being uploaded but error messages will be further up the page so it is advisable to double check and read the screen.

We are able to work seamlessly between teams to ensure our customers receive a better service.

**What do you like best about Orlo?**

Orlo is so useful as it helps us to manage a number of our digital activities, including social listening/media monitoring, social customer service and social marketing in one intuitive platform. The key feature that we use the most is probably the monitoring side of the tool which allows us to listen out for people talking or engaging on any of our projects as well as our brand names.

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

There isn’t much to dislike - though we would like to be kept more up to date with product releases. That said the latest launch was communicated well and their new product portal is great for seeing what is up and coming.

**What problems is Orlo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Orlo helps us inform our digital strategy through sophisticated media monitoring - we can keep an eye on the chatter around our brand across social media and print, allowing us to join conversations that may have not been previously visible to us before. Been able to monitor content around our live projects is incredibly valuable as well.  

As well as this, we can schedule our social media content in advance and analyse the performance of the posts, indicating what our audiences like to see and how we can improve our brand messaging. We have also improved our social customer service by using Orlo to help manage the social messages we receive. 

The main benefits we’ve seen from using Orlo is improved efficiencies across our brand management, social customer service and marketing.

As a professional content creator, I really value the scheduling and built-in UTM tracking. The library function makes it so easy to ensure that my teammates have the latest collateral for campaigns, which makes collaboration so much easier.

I don't believe there is a downside to using Orlo, but the platform would benefit from a bit of TLC in the search function when in the Inbox, to make it more holistic in its results, or at least have an advanced search function.

**What do you like best about Orlo?**

We use the platform as a customer service tool, for engagement and to broadcast.
As a customer service tool it is fantastic and we found it invaluable for emergencies such as bad weather, to get the team on message for getting crucial information out quickly. It makes handovers easy as everyone can see what has gone out and what is coming in.

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

The media monitoring tool was clunky to set up but easy to use once that's done.
I may be missing something but it would be good to be able to set up saved searches across platforms within the social dashboard itself, rather than in the media monitoring tool

**Recommendations to others considering Orlo:**

Orlo is a great company to work with and the customer service is second-to-none.
The product is intuitive, although there are great training webinars for those less confident in just getting stuck in.
Orlo partner with some great social media influencers such as Comms2point0 to do research and produce whitepapers.

**What do you like best about Orlo?**

Orlo has been an integral part of the consolidation of Edinburgh Napier University's social media channels. The tool has allowed the Communications team within the University to manage its social media channels much more effectively and to efficiently work with other teams within the institution to provide much more effective customer relations. By centrally managing all our social in one location, our team knows exactly what is happening on our channels on a daily basis, and has allowed us to move from being a very reactive team to being a proactive social media user. Aspects such as the built in content calendar, and the message assignment options have been integral to this.

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

There is very little I dislike about Orlo. Even if there is an item or function that I think is missing from the software, Orlo's team is very responsive to feedback and development ideas.

**What problems is Orlo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, our social channels didn't sit with one single team - it was governed by a committee of colleagues working across different areas. Content posted often clashed and there was no clear guidance, understanding or strategy behind the University's social media activity. In tandem with a new social media strategy, Orlo has played a massive role in eradicating a lot of this confusion, making sure that each team knows exactly what is happening and when. Without Orlo, there is still a big chance we'd be where we were just over a year ago - in a world of social media confusion and dread!

**What do you like best about Orlo?**

Orlo has been a fantastic addition to our repertoire of management tools and does everything we need it to very well. We are not a customer-focused industry and therefore some of the features offered by Orlo go above what we need it to do, but the campaign tracking and reporting features are brilliant and I can see how other organisations would benefit from using Orlo to track the customer journey through various teams. The content schedule and calendar is great and being able to drag and drop posts makes things very easy.

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

Some of the more advanced features can be tricky to get your head around particularly around filtering and building specific reports. For posting and scheduling content, Orlo isn't quite as easy to use as the native platforms, particularly when using video & imagery, but tries to replicate the processes where possible to make it as easy as it can be. 

**What problems is Orlo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have streamlined our reporting processes, particularly around campaigns which often cross-teams.

Sometimes the system is updated to often with new features and layouts appearing quickly which can take time to adjust to. You just get used to where something is and it gets moved or a new tab is created.

We are now able to come together to work better together. We are able to keep track of all conversation in one place rather than multiple email threads.

**What do you like best about Orlo?**

Having used the platform for a number of years, it still comes out top for its user-friendly approach. It makes engaging with customers really easy, which helps with the speed and accuracy when replying to customers. The content scheduling feature is really easy to use, which makes it easy to report on particular campaigns across multiple channels. Working in transport, it can cope with an influx of traffic at short notice. A consideration is also the use of LiveChat, which is integrated within the platform.

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

There isn't anything to dislike about the platform. It's a well-rounded platform that offers everything we need to manage our online social media presence, track campaign performance, schedule content with ease and report on team performance.

**Recommendations to others considering Orlo:**

Having done a recent platform audit, Orlo came out on top as the best platform for content scheduling, user interface, cost and account management. An exceptional platform for all businesses, whether you're a start-up or an established team.

**What problems is Orlo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Orlo allows us to go back to customers really easy and brings all our channels into one stream. I also use the platform to track the most optimum time to post my content, and when to resource my channels based on incoming traffic. I have used the platform to justify headcount and when we should be most active on our channels (opening times).

**What do you like best about Orlo?**

For my team, being able to manage multiple public and private social inboxes all at once is absolutely paramount, especially when there's a clock ticking. Our customers want (and love) quick responses, and we're there for them. I can also track performance of every customer service officer and outline areas for development if necessary.

There will always be limitations in terms of what social channels allow third party applications to utilise via their API, and sometimes this means unexpected changes can make the platform behave strangely, for example once it resurfaced a couple of messages from years ago. I do feel that when any issues do arise, however, they are listened to by the Orlo team and resolved in a very timely fashion.

We needed a solution where a team of officers can simultaneously and efficiently work collaboratively within a unified inbox across multiple social channels. Also, as a manager, I need to know if there are people who aren't pulling their weight. This allows for all of that.

The best feature is it's analytics - by giving each club a score based on their engagement rates really helps. The data is easy to read and being able to record this data for reporting is key within our business. 

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

My only issue is the lack of options that you may see on the native platforms such as going live. 

**Recommendations to others considering Orlo:**

My advice would be to utilise it's company lock down feature. This is great in the event of a company lock down for whatever reason. We were able to use this feature for a campaign we were assisting with.

It live chat is the best part which assists you all the time. It lets you get recruited to the job of your choice which makes you work with interest. For business it is a good way to socialise about their aims, products and marketing proposals as well. Helps them to recruit the people of your choice.

It is very easy to monitor all engagement through every social platform which is added into a work flow. It is also great to see data and analytics from the platforms to understand the channels performance. 

**What do you dislike about Orlo?**

It is obvious that Orlo want to keep their platform updated with new features, however sometimes the platform is updated without any notice and it can be difficult to find basic features. However, once you have got your head around it, it is always easy to use! 

**Recommendations to others considering Orlo:**

I would definitely recommend taking a look through the platform and at the different features available. When we first started using Orlo we was only using the inbox feature and since we met up with Rachael and Ben, we have started to use the in-depth features like website analytics and marketing reports to be able to further understand our demographics and performance. 

**What problems is Orlo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No business problems are being solved using Orlo. The platform is used as a daily social media management tool which we have found very beneficial to streamline daily monitoring.

Pretty handy being able to post on all our social media channels at once. Also easy to monitor the posts and schedule them (i.e. very intuitive).

The Analytics portion of Orlo is terrible. No real explanation for what the numbers means, and the numbers vary so, so much from what you see when logging into each social platform's reporting system itself.
